Prego is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a lovely dining experience with a great atmosphere. Although it’s on the pricier side, the quality of the food and the overall ambiance make it worth. The restaurant has a modern, yet cozy vibe, with lighting and decor that create a welcoming and relaxed environment.
When we arrived, we had no issues with seating, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was attentive, polite, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, and every plate we tried was packed with flavor and presented beautifully. The portions were just right, leaving us satisfied without being overly full.
For our entrées, we started with the Burrata Fresca and Calamari Fritti. The Burrata Fresca was exceptional—by far the best I’ve ever had. It was perfectly seasoned, incredibly creamy, and absolutely delicious. The Calamari Fritti, while a bit simple and lacking in bold flavors, was still enjoyable and well-prepared.
For the mains, we chose the Pappardelle allo Zafferano with lamb ragu and porcini mushrooms, as well as the Spaghetti alle Vongole. The lamb ragu was bursting with flavor and truly outstanding, while the spaghetti was light and fresh and had plenty of clams, making for an overall pleasant dish. As a side, we had the Spinaci e Scamorza Fusa—baked spinach with melted cheese—which was rich and tasty, complementing the meal beautifully.
While the price might be a little steep for a casual night out, it’s perfect for special occasions or when you want to treat yourself to something a bit more upscale. If you’re in the mood for a delicious meal in a great setting, I would recommended visiting. I rate this place an 8.8/10
