This was our second visit to this lovely hotel and once again it didn’t disappoint. We went as a couple last time and this time we were three because it was my brother’s 60th birthday and we wanted to show him the Malta and hotel we love. The staff are extremely helpful, polite and friendly. They give the impression that they are happy in their work and if they are not then Hollywood need to sign them up now as they do a fine job of acting as if they are. |The breakfast is fabulous, even for an awkward vegetarian like myself. The rooms are absolutely spotless and leaving a bottle of wine, fancy towel shapes and red petals in my brother’s room was a lovely touch for his birthday. |The location is excellent for all that Malta has to offer. It’s near shops, restaurants, the beach, public transport (including the fast and cheap ferry to Valletta). We usually hire a motorbike in Malta but as we were three we hired a car (I thought it very important that my younger brother should be terrified on his birthday because no matter how old you are some things don’t change and driving in Malta is quite hairy). The car rental shop was closed in the hotel because it was a Sunday but the lovely staff gave us directions to another one nearby. |All in all it was fabulous!

Due to other reviews regarding the building work we were concerned prior to arrival. To our delight these seemed to be over exaggerated. We had an amazing time with no interference from any building work going on. The staff are amazing and so helpful. The food was varied and plentiful both at the Triton restaurant and the Beach club. The facilities In the spa and gym are to a high standard. Our room with a sea view and balcony gave spectacular sun rises. We have already booked for next year thank you Preluna.

Welcome was excellent, our flight arrived late, so never got checked in until 1am. Our room was stunning, didn't realise our agent had booked us a balcony too. Breakfast was faultless, an amazing range to choose from, great selection of juices, water & hot drinks. We also tried the theme night evening meals( Italian & Mediterranean), €24 was great value for money. We found the Preluna ,a great base, for catching transport to see around the Island, it was our first time, our stay was too brief, will plan it better for our next visit, to maximise our chance to appreciate what this wonderful country has to offer. Hotel staff, friendly, helpful & supportive, I cannot praise or Thank them enough for making our stay a pleasure. Was so busy, trying to see around the Island , we never had a chance to use anything within the hotel, such as spa, pool etc , this was our fault, we hadn't thought about, until we got home. Thank you for reading

I had planned to make a private table reservation at the SkyRoom in the Prelunar Hotel, Sliema, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from the start. The restaurant insists on a minimum spend of €250, regardless of whether guests prefer to pay separately (split bills). I explained several times that we are a private group where each person pays for their own order, but this was completely ignored. I then tried to reach out to the management via email and other communication channels in the hope of finding a solution or at least getting a response. Unfortunately, I never received any reply. This left a very negative impression. If you are planning to book a larger table, make sure you are aware of this policy and are willing to commit to a high minimum spend — otherwise, you might face the same frustrating experience. It’s a shame, because the venue itself looks great, but the lack of communication and customer care was very disappointing. Update: It was never about an exclusive reservation! It was about a table reservation! The Manager is bad and the director of the hotel not want to involved. Its a shame!

Just returned after 10 day holiday @ Preluna hotel. Great location with excellent facilities. Staff friendly, helpful + efficient. Selection of food good + well presented. Rooms overlooking sea are fabulous - housekeeping excellent - everywhere very clean. Highly recommend.

We were told about the building work outside, when we arrived. That it would last 2 days. We could have coped with that. What we weren’t told about was the building work inside, on our floor. Which went on from 8am -6 pm every day. |The hotel is lovely as are the staff but when you can’t relax due to noise, it ruins it. We put a complaint form in but heard nothing back. Other people had complained too. |There wasn’t much entertainment through the week.| The food was lovely. |Pool was outside by the sea. Which is great when the weather is good. |It was a shame really as what should have been a relaxing break was spoiled

Not knowing where to stay in Malta this was a pretty good start. Its not in the centre of the Niteclub and bar district, but in a great spot between there and the harbour. There is a great outlook to the ocean, and walking along the esplanade is a great way to spend time, and then go for a swim or sun bake. The Hotel staff were quite good, Erika was most helpful checking in, and the Porter Luibomiyer (spelling not sure) was also very helpful everytime I had contact with him. I had hoped to extend by they couldn't give me the same room rate so I moved hotel, which was a shame as it was a good spot. Its close enough to walk to most places, or get a Bolt car. Rooftop bar/Restaurant was pretty good also. Would recommend to stay if you want a quieter area.

I had a very pleasent stay this time no construction noises at all it was nice and quiet … room where nice … the cleaning staff where kind and very friendly … amazing views on the ocean … only the aircondition was bit to weak … and the shower situation not realy work out for tall people … |The poolbar is ok … drinks sometimes a bit weak (maybe of the guests that have all inclusive) … the Poolstaff seams a little bit unsecure , i remember a lot of people having problems with snacks or drinks. The plastic glasses dont work for me when it came to cocktails ,vine or some other drinks in a certain price range.|in my opinion the early closing time from the rooftop bar is sad and a missing highlight for your clients … because this stunning view is outstanding and the cocktails where amazing! … in normal ways i take cocktails after my dinnertime 22:00/22:30 and last order was 23:00 or 23:15 ! and u have to hurry up because u must leave before midnight. When i stay in the exelsior hotel the bar stay open all night long.
