We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, with a balcony offering a breathtaking view of the sea. Watching the sunset in the evening and the sunrise early in the morning was truly magical. The staff was friendly and very helpful — they assisted us in resolving an issue with the agency, which tried to deceive us by booking a standard room with a view of a wall, even though we had paid for a sea-view room. Thanks to the hotel staff, the situation was quickly resolved, and we enjoyed the stunning view we had initially chosen. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would definitely return!

We have visited multiple times for many years but this was an horrendous stay in the middle of a building site, noise, drilling, dirt, cement mixers. Management did not inform us at time of booking. Lifts broken, been unreliable for years, having to use service lift, one night that broke down so no lifts. 13 floors. One female toilet downstairs for a hotel very busy. Tatty, broken ripped seats in bar area, which is the only place for guests to relax as TV lounge is closed off. Rude, aggressive daytime duty manager. Restaurant is a shambles some days. Stained seats and dirty mats, often with untrained staff, tables left uncleared, staff shortages, more like a cafeteria. Management full of excuses. We have had several meetings with senior staff to get reassurance that things will improve…….. we have no confidence that some of them will do anything to make any significant changes. I feel that the hotel is taking guests money to pay for improvements for future guests and not giving us what we’ve paid for. This hotel should have been closed while building work is completed. It has been going on for years now. We are so disappointed and feel let down and also sorry for Reception staff who are being moaned at constantly by disgruntled guests. Even the WiFi is useless!

The worst hotel I have ever been in on holiday, Why! 1) Asked before arrival for a lower room with a walk in shower , First room given no walk in shower with balcony view as picture , surroundings dirty and overlooking shed . Changed to 12 floor compromised . Continual lift problems only the service lift available max 4 caused almost fighting situations as people tried to get to rooms . On one occasion no lifts working and as a late seventies couple we had to climb 24 sets of stairs to get to our room nearly causing more health problems . Given a letter saying “our maintenance team have actively addressed the situation”but don’t work on Sundays !! Asked to move as I could not face climbing those stairs again and ended up in the first room we were offered had to take it.We were told of building work but not that constant drilling and noise could be heard from 7.00am not 9.00am as my letter stated. Some good helpful staff but one female bar attendant very off handed . The restaurant “ manager “ over the 28 days never once welcomed us or the people around us with a good morning etc. The lounge area was not big enough in the evening to accommodate all the guests . Paid for all inclusive but found out before we left that spirits were not included !! The travel company agent was not helpful in any way and was only interested in selling trips ! And creating problems by not confirming pick up times and did not appear at the hotel as we left. The atmosphere around the majority of guests during the 28 days was very poor because of the hotel issues . Many more issues could be written however the hotel should receive an award for the thinnest toilet paper!!!

On the plus side this hotel is in a very good central position, the staff are incredibly nice and our room on the 12th floor was amazing, large, clean and lovely views. The hotel are having major refurbishing works done and while the noise levels didn't disturb us, the lorries, cement mixers and cranes outside made life difficult. There were major problems with the lifts, when we arrived one was working and the other was being rebuilt which would take several weeks. The second lift then broke down and we were left with the small rickety service lift which then eventually broke down too. One evening all guests were left to climb the stairs to their rooms (12 floors). The service lift was repaired but could only take 4 people at a time which caused many problems and rows. The hotel had no lounge to sit in only a seating area off reception which constantly ran out of chairs. The restaurant was basic, food very repetative and lunch time very sparse. As a party of four we found it very difficult to find a table and the restaurant manager took no control over the seating of the guests. As a whole we feel that the hotel should not be accepting more guests until the building works are completed, it is not comfortable and feels unsafe.

**Decent Stay, But Needs Improvement** The best thing about this hotel is its location—convenient and accessible to nearby attractions, making it easy to get around. The variety of food options was decent, not amazing but not terrible either. However, the housekeeping was disappointing. The cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired, and it seemed like the staff didn’t pay much attention to detail. The furniture was quite old and in need of an upgrade, which made the room feel outdated and less comfortable. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement. With better housekeeping and some renovations, this hotel could be much better

Having been here for many years we are so disappointed with our stay this time. The hotel appears booked to capacity. The dining room is overcrowded and at times chaotic. There are too few trained staff to cope with the amount of diners and too many staff who wander aimlessly about. Kitchen staff are leaving not to be replaced.|Add to that the lifts in both blocks are not working. One lift in the “Towers” and one in the main block.. and that one is now out of action, today we were informed that it’s for the next 10 days! leaving only the service lift in use with a maximum of 4 people per trip for 12 floors. Also, that life breaks down regularly. One couple were told by a rude manager that, like them, the lifts were old. One evening, all lifts were out of action. |All in all, a huge disappointment.

This Hotel was awful the lifts broke down all the time and ended up using a service lift only 4 people at a time with a full hotel was not good, then that lift also kept breaking down, at one stage no lifts Woking at all. It was a fire hazard.|Also loads of building work going on outside as they are adding to the hotel, the noise was bad from 7am to 5/6pm 6 days a week. Could not use balcony or sit on balcony.|The only good thing I can say the employees were very good and try to help if necessary. This hotel should not be open.

This is a wonderful hotel with lovely staff throughout and good choices of food. Paying for a seaview room is definitely recommended. However unfortunately I can't award 5 stars as there was only 1 working lift which results in long waits trying to get in and out of your room. And as the previous poster said the attention to detail on the cleaning was poor. The cleaners were lovely and replaced everything daily, however the shower screen, fridge door, balcony, bath tiles and many other places remained stained and dirty throughout our stay. It wasn't just the room as the lift, outside of our door and the areas in the lounge, dining room and the downstairs toilet just weren't cleaned thoroughly in 3 weeks. I didn't see a head housekeeper doing inspections as I would have expected. It really needs to be addressed. All in all despite the ongoing work and poor attention to housekeeping I would always recommend this hotel.
