The value and location of this hotel were good, but there were a lot negative aspects from our experience that would stop me from staying here again. Upon entering the hotel, there is a smell of stale water, perhaps a sewage issue? It is very noticeable and was also noticeable in our room’s bathroom. The bathroom in our room was not in good shape - the door did not work and there seems to be mold on the ceilings and door frame. I’m not sure how a cleaning staff would come in this room and see these things and decide another guest should come in here without these things being addressed. Our room overall was not very clean, especially the floors around the dresser. The bed was clean, but on one side the mattress was tilted - perhaps bad springs? It felt you would roll off. Not comfortable. The staff issued another guest a key to our room and they just walked into our room before realizing the room had been doubled booked. This is a security concern that should not happen. The staff were a bright spot during check in. We were able to drop our bags before our room was ready and the staff ensured a pack and play was available for our daughter to sleep in. I believe Tina was the name of the woman we checked in with - she was delightful.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The apartment had everything I needed: plenty of space to do some yoga, a fridge and microwave to keep or warm up food, and it’s super central. It was very clean and the staff were all super nice and helpful. A highlight for me: as a guest you can help yourself to unlimited tea and coffee at the café during your stay, yay! And the bathrobe in the room was a sweet extra too. The bathroom looked great, but it wasn’t perfect: if you take a longer shower, the water tends to run over the edge and flood the floor. And it was pretty cold in there because the ventilation fan seems to run non-stop. As a solo female traveler, I also felt a bit uneasy about the semi-public terrace, since it looked like everyone on the floor could access it. But that’s more of a personal feeling than an actual issue. Overall, I’d totally recommend this place, especially for the price.

From the outside place looks bit sketchy, there was some work being done (I guess) at the time of my stay.|Let me start with some positives - accommodation is in a great location, very central, minuets away from the train station and the high street. I would say price wise it is also pretty reasonable. The room that you are getting is very spacious and I liked the fact I also had my private balcony. On a less positive note - furniture had some funky stains all over, place was not cleaned well - stains on the curtains, dust on the shelves, dirt in the bathroom, etc. Overall feeling of the room was tired - cracks in the bathroom floor, chipped sink, chipped mirror, etc. It was mentioned that cleaners only clean the room once a week, but each room had a door hanging note to notify the room wants the trash taken out - trash in fact were not collected despite the note. Place is advertising itself having an aircon - yes they do, but it doesn't really work. It is mostly blowing pretty warm air, so does nothing if not makes things worse. Shower pressure also very debatable. What was extremely annoying is the inconsistency of the water temperature it went from warm to cold to insanely hot to warm again, circling like that, so if you can't take immediate temp change while showering, this won't be for you. Pillows flat as a pancake, the mattress was awful half of it higher, half lower, you can't really sleep on it. Bathroom soap/shower gel was 1/4 full by the sink and 1/8 full in the shower. Wi-fi worked 50% of the time. Would I recommend it no. One more thing to note, the hotel floor I stayed at had a strong sewer smell, damp smell... it was stinky.

My fiancée and I stayed in a room with kitchen. We had a pleasant few days and the hotel is in a fantastic location, but for a place that claims to be “luxury” the list of issues we had is frankly too long. • The shower was practically unusable; seemingly with no regard for the temperature setting it alternated between boiling and freezing. • Several of the plates and glasses in the kitchen were dirty when we arrived. One of the towels in the bathroom also had a stain on it. • The side rack in the fridge was broken and mostly unusable—not ideal given its already small size. The freezer section was even tinier and could barely fit a tub of ice cream or a pizza. • Several different pillows were provided but none were actually comfortable. They seemed more decorative than anything. Admittedly we got a good deal on the room, but I do not think it is worth its normal asking price. If you find it for cheap, though, I mostly recommend it.

The reason of booking this hotel was because of the modern and cool room design and its swimming pool. However, the stay was bad. We stayed for three day, and didn't required for the cleaning service until day 3 morning. And the unexpected sittuation happened. We had missing items on my cosmetic and massage products and tools. We did contact the hotel for the investigation, but they did not do any investigation and only said I will be upgraded with breakfast for the next day. The swimming pool needs to be booked before going, but actually no one managed and controlled the number of people using the pool. It starts to get crowned for more than 12 people. The towels were on every sun bed, even no one was using them. The check-in was not smooth and fast. It took an hour to access the room. I was charged the city tax two times, one prepaid online, another time on arrival. Then the front desk requested me to send a formal email to enquire the hotel about the over charged of city tax, then the fee was waived at once in 15 minutes later. The room key did not work with the first room then I was given a new room key for another room 15 minutes laterThere were no chair / stool for the customers at the check-in desk, and the check-in process was so long and tiring. I was not happy with my stay.

Overall, it was very good, but the toilet bowls in the apartment we stayed in were an eyesaw and needed changing. So, I'm not sure how the cleaning is done for the bowls to be in that state. Gluten-free is not understood. My wife was given gluten-free bread the first day, she asked the following day, and she was told it was on the same tray with the gluten bread. This shouldn't be the case as this is a clear cross contamination in which any presence of gluten is harmful to her. This was poor costumer care.

PREMIER SUITES Antwerp is a very honest and pleasant hotel, perfectly located right next to Antwerp Central Station and within walking distance of all major sights, shops, and restaurants. The reception and breakfast area are on the 7th floor, offering a stunning view over the city. For security, access to the guest room floors is only possible by scanning your room card, a detail we really appreciated. We stayed on the 4th floor, where the view was beautiful. The room itself was spacious, clean, with a very comfortable bed. A nice touch was the in-room espresso capsules, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great choice in Antwerp, clean, comfortable, safe, with an excellent central location and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Came by the other day and it was a decent experience, although with some bizarre quirks. Booked direct for the "Executive Family Studio with Kitchen" and the front desk agent printed out a contract with a "Deluxe Studio." When I inquired about the difference, another employee quickly chimed in that I "got upgraded" and my original room had no kitchen?!? As the "Executive Studio with Kitchen" has kitchen in the name, I inquired a second time, and the employee raised her voice saying that the room was the same?!? A 3rd employee eventually came in, after reviewing their own website, and started talking about the Penthouse suite (completely irrelevant?!?). Attempted to use the laundry room located behind the secure door using my keycard and had to answer 21 questions to the front desk agent with my room number, my full name, and the company I was representing (all with a load of dirty laundry in my arms), which was completely bizarre. At 7 am, the agent claimed that someone on my floor booked a taxi?!? (also completely irrelevant?!?) The studio itself was pretty spacious, although with some quicks. For example, the bathroom was dated, unlike the pictures on the website. More importantly, it was bizarre to have a handheld shower installed on the long side of the bathtub, vs the short side?!? ...also might have been helpful to use a curved shower curtain to make showering less claustrophobic... Water pressure was usable although the shower curtain had a strange smell... Highlights of the studio included the comfortable bed, although slightly lumpy in areas, with quality sheets and towels. The kitchen itself was modern and fully stocked, including 2 bottles of water in the kitchen. The "welcome gift" appeared to be the 2 dishwashing tablets and manual dishwashing liquid... Booking direct, the confirmation indicated that there would be a "welcome drink upon arrival" Perhaps the 2 bottles of water in the fridge was it?!? Other anomalies included super dark lighting at night. The lighting was insufficient in the dining area, which made it quite dark to work and read in. There was a freestanding light that helped provide additional lighting in the sleeping area. It was also odd to see that the room number listed on my in room telephone was different from the one on my door?!? The laundry room was complimentary and fantastic! There was also complimentary laundry detergent. A wash takes 2-3 hours and a dry takes 1+ hour. The signage against the wall with instructions on how to use the washing machine didn't match the actual washing machine which was confusing at best...

Yelp
I booked through hotels.com. my family of four loved this hotel. prime central location in antwerp. like a 5-7 min walk to the train station. within walking another 5-7 min walk to chinatown. you got two mcdonalds near by. around the main shopping areas and restaurants. it was a super ideal place to stay at. rooms has a softbed that can be used. kitchen has utensils and cooking supplies that you'll need. only missing like salt and pepper haha. but of course its not a deal breaker. AC works fast and well. honestly my only real complaint is the lighting where the bed area is. its so dark/dimmed. needs extra lighting there but again not a deal breaker for me. i totally would come back and stay here. i highly recommend it as well! staff are nice! room is spacious and clean! by the way the fridge is nice and COLD!! all of my drinks and food stayed nice and cold. oh there's also a small freezer area. 2 thumbs up! tips: *do not have daily cleaning services *does have wifi *breakfast available at an extra charge *has snacks you can purchase at the lobby area *has a pool table in the lobby area
