Around Christmas/ new year this large main square is a hive of festive activities, dominated by a huge radiant Christmas tree, surrounded by food and drink stalls and full of people celebrating. It’s right by the river with its 3 bridges and just across and along the river are more bars and stalls to explore

I visited the square on December 26th, which seemed like a holiday celebration for them. It was very lively, with lots of food and drink stalls, and a great festive atmosphere. The place was crowded but full of energy and fun!

Beautiful main square of the city centre. Truly enjoyed the bridges and the wonderful art installation of rain. Bustling with people but a lovely atmosphere. Try to get yourself a free walking tour to explain further the importance of the square and the history behind it.

One of the most beautiful old town squares where multiple streets end here. You can follow those streets to find nice restaurants, cafés, local market, boat trips by the river, and more. Or just enjoy the walking among beautiful buildings and tiny alleyways.

LJUBLJANA, Prešern Square. For me, Ljubljana is one of the most beautiful cities. Prešern Square is nice place for walking and enjoying. So, when you already in Ljubljana visit the squer.

This is a charming square that is the starting point for all the streets and alleys of the old city. There are lots of charming restaurants around with a relaxed atmosphere along the banks of the river. The beauty and cultural richness are evident from every angle. It's fun to wander and get lost here.

A very beautiful square. A noisy tourist spot, but worth a visit. Excellent views of the embankment, Three Bridges, and the castle.
