Our stay at The President, Mumbai has once again reminded us why Taj hospitality is simply unmatched. We had been fasting for two days due to personal rituals, and very late at night we requested if plain parathas could be sent to our room. AMIR SHEIKH from the KONKAN CAFE not only agreed immediately but ensured the food reached us with such warmth and care — no hesitation, no inconvenience shown. What truly touched our hearts was the next day when, after the long fast, we went to the restaurant and found that he had personally arranged special sabudana khichdi for us — completely off the menu — just so we could eat comfortably. That gesture spoke louder than any luxury or décor ever could. This wasn’t just service, it was genuine kindness. A big thank you to AMIR SHEIKH, KAUSHIK TANDEY and the entire restaurant team of KONKAN CAFE for making us feel so valued and cared for. Experiences like these are why we always choose President and Taj properties — not just for comfort, but for the humanity behind the hospitality. Highly recommended. A little late review, but worth the wait! 😊 We visited for 31st New Year's dinner and, like before, the service and food were superb. Truly enjoyed the ambience and vibe with loved ones.

A BIG and hearty thank you to Tanya, Chirag and Sanjay for tracking down my son's cat soft toy after we had lost it in bed dirty linen 2 nights prior. They came through as a superhero squad bringing a huge smile back to my son's face. Thanks for going over and beyond and making sure we were kept in the loop every time progress had been made right up to and when it was delivered into his hands. Their excellence towards customer service really shines a star on our stay in Mumbai.

The hotel has lost its charm. The rooms are dated. The service is hit or miss. My first room Room 320 had a non functioning AC and wall paper peeling off during my stay in Jan 2026. The check-in agent was extremely unprofessional and rude. Had to sleep the whole night with no AC. Then was moved to a newer room at 7AM. Not sure why I was not givent that when I checked in at midnight. The food at eh conference was also a bit of a mish mash. The breakfast at Trattoria was average with the staff looking hassled and extremely busy. Sad to see a Taj property like this.

The partial sea view from the 14th floor added an extra touch of tranquility to my stay. Modern furnishings and thoughtful amenities ensured maximum comfort. Service and Staff Throughout my stay, the entire staff was consistently polite, friendly, and eager to assist with any needs. Their professionalism and warmth made me feel truly welcome and valued as a guest. Dining Experience Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a wide spread of options to suit every palate. The live counters were a wonderful touch, allowing guests to customize their meals and ensuring any dietary requirements were met with care and attention. Absolutely brilliant stay at the Taj President. Everything is perfect. The staff is warm and friendly. Our arrival and check in was promptly and efficiently handled by Ms. Neha at the front desk which set the tone for the remainder of the stay. All in all, we had a wonderful stay of four nights and five days.
