Loved this bar! Really cool vibes. Loads of whiskeys available. Good cocktails. They really took their time preparing them (in a good way). They have a negroni counter and a button you can press if you order one which is pretty cool. I really liked it here!

We had an absolutely wonderful time! Willy was so attentive and provided an amazing experience. It’s a hip bar perfect for a late night drink or on weekends for lovely music.

The bar features a stunningly romantic, low light ambiance with a classic chic touch. The service was spectacular, friendly, engaging and our bartender Gaston, was extremely knowledgeable about every ingredient and every drink. We had the fried langoustines and they too were phenomenal. Other bars that we went to in Buenos Aires were all smoke and mirrors, a lot of hype and no delivery. This bar however, delivered and surpassed our expectations. Simply phenomenal.

Classy cocktail bar with eclectic selection of entrees. There were some fun twists on cocktail classics, like the LatinAmericano. Most seemed to be enjoying the sushi, but we opted for ceviche & the Mollejas. The 2-person cocktail tables are really too small for proper dining, but the atmosphere made up for it.

My favorite place in BA. BA has great bars. And Presidente is definitely a great example of it. Everything about this bar is perfect. The ambience is flawless. The reception and the staff was great. Our waiter was always thoughtful and sharp. The drinks are amazing, well balanced and the menu has a great selection. You can tell the attention to details in every cocktail on the menu. The appetizers are amazing. Don’t stop trying the cheese and fruit table. Such a great combination. It’s our favorite date bar for me and my wife every time we come to Buenos Aires.

I went on a Gin Wednesday. Same thing as in January: absolute perfection. Branca Smash and Buenos Aires Zombie are as good as always. Sushi was delicious (a little sloppy on execution, though). Prices are adequate for this quality of service. Staff is wonderful. I will always recommend this place.

Abel & facu were wonderful!!!!!!! Guessed our preferred drinks based on preferred flavors & they were delicious. They are wonderful. You must come here.

Very cool bar with great music, outstanding drink selections (including some creative cocktails) and warm knowledgeable staff. No wonder it has been ranked as one of the best bars in the world. Give it a try an aperitif or an after dinner drink as its location is prime as well.

Amazing ambiance, great food, and decent service. I really enjoyed my time at Presidente Bar, I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good spot to go out in Buenos Aires! The music here is pretty good as well!

Went here based on a recommendation from a local. Definitely make a reservation online before going...a party of 4 was let in while waiting in line and promptly turned away without a reservation. We sat in the bar area at a high top. The drinks and food were excellent. Great service and friendly staff. Our 2 hour reservation flew by, and we were given another great recommendation for another bar by our waiter. Will definitely come back and highly recommend!

Súper mal servicio. Te corren una hora antes de cerrar y muy mala onda. Los tragos malísimos encima. Lo único bueno fue la música. Really bad service. Staff was pushing us out an hour before closing. Drinks tasted awful and overall a waste of money and time. Only positive was the music. Go elsewhere.

Estoy de acuerdo de en su puesto # 21 de 50 best bar del mundo. Tienen una propuesta de cocktails muy copada y el lugar es divino! No lo elegiría para comer, el menú fue acotado y precios altos sin sentido. I agree that with the award #21 of the 50 best bars in the world. They have a very cool cocktail offer and the place is divine! I wouldn't choose it for lunch, the menu was limited and the prices were senselessly high.

I'm in town visiting family and friends, and happened to end up at Presidente Bar, which apparently opened 2 months ago. We arrived a little before 1AM, and had to wait, but it was definitely worth the 5 minutes. ;) To be 100% honest, cocktail bars are not my thing. I'm a simple drinker - vodka soda is my drink of choice. But the cocktail menu is impressive, something for everyone, and the bartenders are very knowledgeable and you can tell that they know their shit. My first drink was a vodka soda (surprise, surprise) but my friends got drinks off the menu, Bonnie Rose and Carioca Fix, and I was pleasantly surprised to like them both! Even though the place was packed, the ambience and atmosphere was chill. The playlist was on point and I loved watching the bartenders work their craft. Also, it's great people watching. For my second drink, I ventured out of my comfort zone, and had one of the bartenders make me something off the menu. I was worried, but she heard what I like/didn't like, and my drink was delicious. TIP: If you're in the mood for a more classic cocktail, order it! You might get an invite to the secret library bar in the back, and let me tell you, it's pretty epic. If I could give more stars I would, check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Sorry mi gente...this ones in ingles....El Presidente Bar lives up to it's name. You feel like a dignitary walking into this place. Have reservations secured or be ready to take your place at the bar. The scenery; gorgeous. The staff; attentive & gorgeous. The drinks;delicious, creative and expensive but worth it! The Duo pasta was exquisite & didn't last long enough to be photographed & the gnocchi was delightful. A treat for Argentina!

Muy suave, the drinks are delicious, the service is delightful! Get a reservation so you can sit at the bar if you plan to stay for a few drinks (i would recommend you do!) but also try to walk in for standing room only if that's all you have time for, still worth it.

First time my wife and I visited we had a pleasant experience. Not memorable but not poor. Second time was totally different. Ambiance was the same however the drinks were poorly made. My wife asked for a recommendation one one of several drinks the bar is supposedly know for and was not impressed. I ordered a simple Rum and Coke and watched the bartender demonstrate more showmanship than attention to detail. Apparently a Rum and Coke now takes as much concentrated lime juice as it does Rum! We could not finish either drink and decided to call it a night. For the price..not worth going back.

Beautiful décor and style.. very lovely.. good drinks and super upclass.. make reservations for sure to be sure to get a quiet table :)

Hubby and I came here because a bartender at another restaurant told us that Presidente Bar was voted #14 on the World's 50 Best Bars list 2018. We arrived on the earlier side (for BA standards)--around 8:30pm, so the hostess was nice enough to give us her 'reserved' table for two by the bar. Upon ordering, I asked our waiter to recommend one of the bar's signature cocktails--something tasty that would have earned the bar's #14 slot (I didn't have any preferences, so it was entirely up to him to decide what drink would best represent making it on the Worlds 50 Best Bars list). He chose a cocktail called Monkey Tai, which came in a large tiki-style cup with a sliver of dried pineapple garnish, mint and a paper straw. Honestly, I was disappointed and kind of shocked at the presentation. Kitschy? Yes. Sexy? Absolutely not! Was I at a chic upscale bar in the city or at a beach shack in Waikiki? The cocktail itself was yummy, though! A nice balance of flavors, not overly sweet and good portions of alcohol. Hubby ordered a margarita, which fortunately, didn't come with bells and whistles...just a classic frosted glass with one large ice cube and one side of the rim salted. The cocktail, again, was tasty! For the second round, we again asked the waiter to choose. This time we tried to give some context: "In every country we visit, we do our homework and go to the city/town's best cocktail bar (and we travel a lot). This time, give us something sexy. Doesn't have to be flashy, just something that represents Presidente." (Still too vague?) I can't remember what the drink was called, but the huge silver metal pineapple cup it came in was unforgettable. LOL! The waiter proceeded to remove the top of the pineapple and set it upside down on the table, then placed the bottom part of the pineapple on top of it, creating the perfect holder for the cup. (I guess everyone's idea of sexy is different...) This drink was interesting. Had a spice/kick to it that I couldn't quite pinpoint, but it was definitely layered and unique. No complaints. Food was on point. Ordered octopus and empanadas. Delicious! I would definitely come here again, but maybe do the cocktail ordering a little differently (although I truly appreciate our waiter's help!). I know the bar has far more artisanal options (minus the kitschy cups). And, the atmosphere here IS sexy--definitely for the trendy and/or upscale set. I highly recommend making a reservation. The place fills up fast and I saw some people get turned away because they didn't have one. Cheers!

Not great. Ordered the Buenos Aires zombie cocktail twice. The first time: excellent. The second time (in the same mug, confirmed it was the same drink ordered): it was a completely different cocktail. Additionally, the food was odd. We ordered some sushi and the penne pasta. The sushi was average, and the pasta was bad. The sauce texture was ketchup-y, over salted, and with many whole cherry tomatoes that filled up most of the dish. I expected better from the bar given it is on some lists. I would recommend trying other places in BA.

Ignorant and condescending doorman. I had my concierge call ahead but doorman was obnoxious . Of course I give my Buisness only where appreciated .
