Such a stunning celebration of our natural heritage! Thoughtfully laid out with lots of notice boards and information. Beautiful sculptures to admire, and lots of little shady spots for a picnic. Happy to pay the entrance fee, as it is clearly going towards maintaining everything.

Very Very clean and safe with plenty Dassies. The hiking trail is stunning with waterfall and even some buck. Enterance fee is reasonable. Also a restaurant, kiddies play area and braai area.

It is extremely well kept and boundlessly beautiful this time of year. There are nice spaces to picnic or relax and play areas for the kids as well as walking routes of varying distances with interests plants and Dassies with serene rest areas. There are beautiful sculptures done by Anton Smit spotted throughout and a awesome waterfall.

Super lovely space for picnicking, short hikes or just family fun time, or dates. Had so many wonderful times there, and everything is gorgeous and very well maintained. The gardens are stunning and the views at the top of the short hike paths are beautiful. Loved the waterfall noices near that one glass vield were we had a picknick. Entry fee is not that bad, think it was R70 for adults and like R40-R45 for students with valid student cards, i just used my digital card. Highly recommend a short walk around the area and checking out their cool workout area, was lots of fun messing around there.

Review for Botanical Gardens I recently visited the Botanical Gardens for a park run, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The lush greenery, towering trees, and beautifully maintained landscapes made for the perfect setting. Running through the gardens was both refreshing and inspiring, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. What stood out the most was the cleanliness of the gardens—everything was so well-kept, making it even more enjoyable to explore. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining this beautiful space. Whether you’re here for a run, a peaceful walk, or just to take in the beauty of nature, the Botanical Gardens is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

The park is well maintained and has been upgraded with really nice facilities for kids to play. The upkeep of such facilities are for us all who use these facilities, it's appalling to see how people litter during their stay but the park is still well maintained by their team.

It has been some time since I last visited the Pretoria Botanical Gardens. I decided to try out the Parkrun at this venue. Parking is available, but on the side of the road as the venue parking fills up quickly. The bathrooms were clean and no long ques. There has been a noticeable focus on adding beautiful sculptures and various art all along the Gardens adding to its already well manicured and cared for flora and forna. The parkrun held at the Pretoria Botanical Gardens is well organised and the route was challenging enough for beginners to enjoy and still feel the burn afterwards.
