I haven’t been to a workout class in a long time but prevail has me enjoying working out again! The community they have cultivated is truly so special! Everyone there is on their own fitness level/journey and it takes the pressure off if you feel like you’re not in the best shape. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something fun and different!

Catherine Leong

Google
Been going here for 8 years. It’s a great workout with coaches that get to know you personally and make class fun but challenging. Grown a lot here - both mentally and physically! ♥️

Emily Tang

Google
I’ve been loving Prevail! They have a great selection of classes and all of the instructors have been great. I love how the difficulty really depends on how hard you want to push yourself so it’s great for all levels. The staff have been super friendly and really make this feel like a community. Would definitely recommend this gym!

natalie Frances

Google
Amazing gym, super clean environment, friendly staff! You can feel the energy as soon as you step into this place, and a challenging but fun workout is guaranteed. So glad I found out about this place from a Stretchlab pop-up!

Google
Love the team and the energy at Prevail! Accepting of every level of experience, but man will they push you. Some of the best workouts I've had, and I'm much better prepared to defend myself if it ever comes down to it for it. Trainer Lolo in particularly will have you sweating and sore, but it's worth it!

Kyla Curlee

Google
LOVE THIS GYM!! Front desk is so kind and welcoming, the coaches are fun and knowledgeable. I’ve been boxing for years and have been attending Prevail for about 6 months now and I thought I knew it all before joining but the short amount of time I’ve been here I’ve grown so much as a boxer thanks to the team at prevail. The community they’ve built and continue to grow is absolutely amazing and keeps me coming back for more. JOIN NOW!!

Google
I have never boxed before and am a beginner. I joined Prevail a month ago and am hooked. The coaches, staff and fellow members are super friendly. Love the sense of community! They have a great selection of classes that are challenging and FUN. Highly recommend !!

Google
Prevail Boxing is a wonderful way to get in shape while also building boxing techniques in a fun, safe community. In the box classes, Coach Leticia and Coach Josh bring enthusiasm, support, and the heat. I've especially enjoyed doing the mitt work, as it allows me to partner off and practice that skill as well. The trainers' energy and dedication make every class engaging and challenging. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their fitness and boxing skills in a supportive environment!

Yelp
I had such a great experience at Prevail. Wonderful instructors- I really liked Shereen and Josh. Great energy, patient and helpful. If they open a boxing class between 10 AM and 1 PM I would love to rejoin.

Yelp
My wife and I have been coming here for over a year and absolutely love it! There's a good mix of classes from boxing technique, to more of an aerobic/boxing class to weight lifting. All the coaches are fantastic including coach Letty, coach Josh, and coach Sean! They've also recently made improvements to limit the size of classes so they aren't too packed and we all get individualized attention. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to improve their boxing abilities or simply trying to get a good sweat in.

Kacie M.

Yelp
I just wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for Coach Sean and his incredible instruction in both the boxing and Sweat X classes at Prevail Boxing! As a beginner who has only taken a few classes, I was a little nervous stepping into boxing, but Coach Sean's energy, expertise, and encouragement immediately put me at ease. His ability to break down technique in a way that is accessible and easy to understand makes a huge difference, especially for someone like me who is still learning the fundamentals. He keeps the class high-energy, fun, and challenging while making sure everyone--regardless of experience--feels supported and motivated. I also love how he balances pushing us to work hard while still keeping the environment positive and empowering. The Sweat X class is next-level! It's intense, but in the best way possible. Coach Sean's pacing, coaching, and motivation keep me going even when I feel like I've hit my limit. I walk out feeling accomplished and already looking forward to the next class. Thank you, Coach Sean, for your dedication and for making every class such an awesome experience! I'm excited to continue learning and improving under your guidance.

Yelp
My favorite place to box. You can be all types of levels. Don't be scared to ask questions. Everyone is nice and welcoming.

Yelp
I heard about this place through stretchlab. This place is great. I hate exercise, but I love coming to this place. They somehow manage to make exerting myself fun for me. Music is great, instructors are really knowledgeable in pugilism. Love this place.

Yelp
Been a Prevail member for over 2 years now and it is truly one of my happy places in LA! All the coaches are awesome and you get an amazing workout every time. Other gyms can feel stuffy or intimidating, but I always feel welcome and comfortable at Prevail. 120 classes later, I'm still going strong. It's a really supportive community. Great vibes all around.

Yelp
I love being here!!!! I just came back to this gym after a 8 month hiatus and the classes are just as good, if not better, as they were last year. The instructors are very knowledgeable and their expertise is shown through their thorough explanations and examples. The coaches push you to the limit here and I feel like I've become a better fighter because of it.

Yelp
Amazing studio ! Love the staff and so close to home .I really enjoyed taking their box 1 and all levels class . Trainers are lots of fun! Meghan made sure I got comfortably situated in and transitioned into boxing with ease . Sadly I had to relocate and no longer able to go
google avatar

Jasmine S.

Yelp
The instructors were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in. The gym setup, with its 5 stations, offered a diverse and engaging workout. 2 of these stations featured heavy bags, allowing for a great mix of cardio and strength training. The pricing structure is quite reasonable - I used my class pass credits to attend plus A $15 participation fee is fair for the quality of the workout you receive. Additionally, the option to rent gloves for just $5 and purchase wraps for $10 provides convenience for those who may not have their own equipment.
google avatar

Courtney C.

Yelp
prevail is an amazing atmosphere to challenge yourself. the classes are everything you want -- tough but kind coaches, challenging and engaging programming and encouraging fellow boxers. can't recommend enough!

Yelp
Prevail is my favorite gym in LA! I started going to Prevail about 1.5 years ago, and I've become such a better boxer and athlete. The coaches are incredibly welcoming, patient, and friendly. My favorite thing about Prevail (aside from the killer classes and workout) is the sense of community. I've met so many new people and made so many friends - I'm literally so so grateful for Prevail and I'm looking forward to being a member for many more years to come!

Michael D.

Yelp
The Sweat and Boxing classes are great for both any one looking to learn how to box or for experienced boxers. The coaches are incredibly helpful and make everyone feel welcomed. Definitely give Prevail a try!

Hannah R.

Yelp
Prevail is such an uplifting and exciting community. The front desk staff is friendly and the coaches are more than just good coaches, they are good teachers, making boxing accessible to all. I've been pushed to work hard and always look forward to my Prevail classes!
google avatar

Andy L.

Yelp
I've been hesitant on joining a class because group classes can be so intimidating, but everyone at Prevail Boxing is so welcoming and nice. Great coaches, great atmosphere and they put you to work! Shout out to Coach Josh for the great sessions so far and Laura and Megan for being so welcoming and setting up a beginner like myself! OH also take advantage of their no commitment unlimited class special, you won't regret it!

Erik H.

Yelp
I've taken several classes at Prevail, however this review is referencing the S&C Strength and Conditioning class. The programing of this class was designed to help with boxing fitness...and it shows! My coach was Ashlee. This intelligent trainer maintains control of the room with a delightful combination of playfulness and authority. The workout was appropriately scaleable and challenging, meeting clients of all levels where they're at. I definitely like to maximize my time and money when taking a group fitness class and Prevail did not disappoint. Ashlee and the S&C class definitely makes me an advocate for training at Prevail, and (compared to some other shall-remain-nameless options for group fitness) learning the art and skills required in boxing while functionally maintaining my fitness is the one-two punch I was missing. Thank you Ashlee and Prevail!

Avalon H.

Yelp
Prevail is a more than a boxing gym, more than a training class, more than a kick ass circuit core HIIT and mitting workout... it's a community in every sense of the word. I joined in early 2023 to create a positive relationship with myself and exercise that I didn't have for a long time. Now I've successfully built a ton of muscle, lots of confidence, and loads of friends. If you are seeking a killer boxing workout with coaches who have fought, coaches who grew up doing mixed martial arts, and coaches who just want to kill you on the weights and core workouts, then Prevail is the right place!! BUT if you are also intimidated by all those things like I was, then Prevail is still the right place. Couldn't give a higher recommendation

M V.

Yelp
Started my journey at Prevail about 2.5 months ago and it has been an absolute treat. The coaches are thorough, supportive, informed and best of all approachable. The facilities are clean and well maintained as well as the equipment. I am eager to continue my journey! 10/10 would recommend!

Willa S.

Yelp
Love this place! The classes are hard but rewarding and the coaches are helpful but push you! Can't recommend enough!

Marlon F.

Yelp
Prevail Fitness in WeHo is an amazing gym! The trainers are super cool and the classes are a blast. The equipment is always clean. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're looking for a great workout."

Yelp
On top of an incredible workout and excellent boxing training - The coaches, staff, and everyone that takes classes are incredibly friendly and welcoming. This is a great place for a first time boxer or experienced veteran

Gabriella B.

Yelp
I tried out Prevail Boxing last week with my friend and am now *obsessed* -- such a great workout, incredible coaches, and awesome community. I was definitely intimidated going in as I had never done a boxing class before but that changed as soon as the class started as everyone was super supportive and encouraging. I'm certainly still learning but see myself getting better with each class. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is new to boxing!!

Max G.

Yelp
Really feel privileged to be a member of Prevail community since day 1 (2016). Shout out to all the coaches in the house for making us feel like our second family. Hands up-chin down!

Carolyn F.

Yelp
I'm really happy I started taking boxing at prevail. They offer a range of classes that keep you motivated and challenged at the same time. The staff are all lovely and I feel like I've found a really nice community of friends at Prevail.

Sasha F.

Yelp
Love Prevail and everyone there! If you're going through a sh** time and need to punch something, Prevail is there for you. If you're feeling great and want to have a good time, Prevail is there for you. The coaches are the absolute best, the people are friendly, and you can show up exactly you are.

Yelp
If you're ready to burn lots of calories and get a phenomenal workout...this is it. Circuit training boxing so you are constantly moving. Coach Rob was fantastic. He made the workout fun when we all wanted to pass out.

Grecco B.

Yelp
Consistently the best workouts I've ever had! Great teachers, great team, great classes!

Naillene S.

Yelp
Best boxing gym in LA hands down! Been going to prevail for the last 2 yrs and it's made me into the best shape of my life! So happy to have found this place 10 out of 5 stars! I would recommend to anyone from any fitness level looking to level up their boxing skills

Stephanie B.

Yelp
An absolute gem of a place full of experienced coaches, encouraging people, and friendly staff! I am completely addicted.

Julia W.

Yelp
I prevail!!! I had always wanted to do boxing and was really intimidated before I joined prevail, but everyone here is so nice and friendly! The coaches are amazing and super encouraging and it's such a good workout. Almost at my 50th class now, I can feel myself improving with every class, and I feel like a beast!!!! Shoutout to coach $ean!

Savannah S.

Yelp
My favorite place - encompassing great coaches, community, & the BEST workout. I've been coming for almost 2 years with no plans of slowing down!

Jake M.

Yelp
I have been a member of this establishment since 2016 and let me tell you, this place keeps getting better and better. From pro athlete to anxious new comer, Prevail boxing is able to give you the best work out expierence. Not only is it so fun to build a new skill that you almost forget you are working out but you also get to be apart of the best community of people. I take 8 am and it's the best way to start my day. I have crushes on all the coaches and they make the whole class feel fun while also pushing you. Sometimes I come to class and just want to dance and giggle, but don't do that. Boxing is fun! Hahahahah 10/10.

Ian L.

Yelp
Could not sing higher praises of this boxing gym / club / community. I only wish I had found boxing earlier in life. The coaches are real people with real skill and a terrific ability to translate and instruct to novice and seasoned boxers alike. Feels very local, not corporate chain. Def a place for those who are curious about the sport and want a strong, smart, safe and structured place to engage at any level.

Jasmine P.

Yelp
I've been a member at Prevail for 7 years and call this gym a second home. You will learn the fundamentals of boxing and become part of the amazing community. The coaches are the best of the best and you'll feel stronger everyday. Highly recommend!

Sean-Michael R.

Yelp
Excellent training in not just boxing techniques but also with cardio, strength, conditioning, and flexibility. Lots of different coaches with various styles of training but each one offers a challenging and unique workout experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in learning about boxing but also in working towards being in the best shape possible. Getting to punch the bags is also a plus!

Madeline C.

Yelp
I've been coming to Prevail for almost 6 years now and for good reason. As someone who was a bit anxious to take group workout classes, especially in a sport I knew nothing about, it took me a while to work up the courage to try. But since day 1, I felt so welcomed by not only the coaches but everyone in the class, it eradicated my anxiety and replaced it with confidence. I highly recommend for all levels (most classes there is someone taking their first). Above all else it's just a great workout and really fun!

V H.

Yelp
I have enjoyed coming here over the past three weeks. They have a complete range of workouts that allow you to improve your physical condition and boxing skills and all the instructors are always available for quick questions after class.

George H.

Yelp
Prevail is simply the best place to box. They offer a range of classes depending on your skill level, and the coaches go above and beyond to teach you. I can't speak more highly of this studio, and what they have to offer aka big fan
google avatar

Ed T.

Yelp
Terrific gym with a great community that's not intimidating to be a part of. Everyone here loves the sport and supports each other's drive to prevail. Warning: the addiction set in quick and you find yourself taking 2-3 sessions per day.

Yelp
Prevail Boxing is located in the heart of Los Angeles and is easy to find directly on Beverly Blvd. There is ample parking in the area. Prevail Boxing is an intimate gym. Somehow Prevail has managed to fuse the stylishness of Los Angeles with the ruggedness of a Chicago boxing gym. The gym is always spotless. There are lockers available to safely store your belongings. Prevail has all the workout equipment needed to work up a sweat, but it is not the hardware that drives this machine, but the software. Prevail's staff is second to none. The trainers are always prepared and present throughout the workouts. It was my esteemed privilege to be afforded the opportunity to work with Coach "Juice" Justin. Prevail allows U.S. Military Veterans to access workouts in their fine facility with their fantastic staff on Fridays. The last time I was so physically challenged was in basic training. Believe me when I say, there is nothing basic about training at Prevail Boxing. The workouts are intense, but weather you are a beginner or an advanced fighter you will be able to follow the instruction of the trainers and push yourself to the next level. I am deeply grateful to the owner(s), management, and staff for providing a heart racing experience. Thank you. If you are looking for physical fitness training in the Los Angeles area, come in and punch the clock with Prevail Boxing. With love, -Rojo

Yelp
This is a long-overdue review, but one thing you should know is that if you find yourself here - you will prevail. Most classes here are 45 minutes long (unless you do SuperSweat) and it will be the fastest, hardest, most productive 45 minutes in your day. Then, you can't help but want to come back and do it all over again. All the coaches are amazing and I appreciate that they get to know everyone. It's a great community all working hard together to improve their health and strength. Shout out to Rob for always being that bff coach reminding you what you're here for and Jessie for reminding you that the last 5 minutes of class can be the longest 5 minutes of your life :)

Breanna T.

Yelp
I first stumbled upon Prevail on Instagram when I was looking for a place to get back into fitness and find community. Fast forward to now, it's been one year and over 300 classes. I think what separates Prevail from other boxing gyms is that it fits everyone's needs and interests like a glove (pun intended). Whether you've never exercised a day in your life, or you're experienced and looking for a place to take your boxing to the next level, I feel like you'll fit in and find what you're looking for @ Prevail. If you're on the fence and don't know whether or not to take the leap, this is your sign! Do it! From the very first time I came to Prevail, they made me feel at home (and they remember your name). I'm excited for anyone considering coming to have the same experience as I have :)

Yelp
Took a class while visiting LA from Az staff and trainers went out of their way to be friendly and made me feel welcome. Leticia led the class and gave us a super workout. After class alot of the other students came up to me. You can tell this gym and staff is dedicated to build a community. If you are new to LA I would check this place out.

Leslie C.

Yelp
everyone is super welcoming, nice, and helpful. they make it very easy and the classes go by fast. good workout and the month trial for $99 and unlimited classes is a great deal

Yelp
My friend (who goes to Prevail almost every single day) has been trying to get me to take a class for over a year! Finally, I signed up for my first class with Coaches KatieMichal and Aaron-Michael. Prevail Boxing can be a little tough to find -- it's a small building a bit tucked away next to a dog grooming store -- and I had to drive by a couple times before I actually saw it! Parking is available on 3rd St and the residential side streets, but be sure to look at the signs! The studio has an open front reception with a long built-in bench along the wall and lockers (you have to bring your own lock, though it is supervised by the front desk). The studio in the back looked like a warehouse with the garage door and the exposed brick. There's a bathroom but don't expect any luxury amenities like at Rumble or other boutique studios. The focus here is to become your best athletic self! I've done boxing classes before, but this was definitely the most intense boxing class I have ever done! It was a circuit-based with a mix of boxing on the bags & mitts as well as strength/conditioning (abs, pushups, squats, footwork drills). I liked the variety in the class, because it kept things fun & interesting throughout class. The coaches were both very encouraging and paid personal attention to each person regardless of experience level. They definitely focused a lot on proper boxing technique, which was great. Overall, I enjoyed my first class at Prevail. I truly felt like their mission is to train people to become well-rounded "athletes" with proper boxing technique rather than just doing another trendy workout! It was a great change from my usual routine!

Yelp
Talk about a butt kicking class. We came to Los Angeles for my beloved friend's bachelorette party. The sweetheart that she is requested a workout class during theweekend. In comes Prevail. The location is easy to find but parking is kinda hard. Good thing though, you can park your car at the KFC, which is a short walk to the studio. Walking in, the front desk lady was super sweet and helpful. Coming in with a party of ten girls. They were able to help some wrap their hands. The class consisted of 6 workout stations. When I tell you this was tough, this was tough! Lol. Eventhough I hated every bit of this workout, the instructors were very positive and motivating. For an hour sweat fest, its worth the experience. When I visit LA again, I will definitely stop by and workout! Bianca

Yelp
Best gym in town! I love Prevail boxing. I've been a member since January 2016 and I still love their workouts. Quick and fun way to sweat and get new skills. Best community in town.

Fernando H.

Yelp
Prevail boxing in West Hollywood is awesome. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and bring it every single day. They put in the effort to teach you. Best place for boxing and sweat workouts.
google avatar

Josh B.

Yelp
Great place to blow off some steam and get a killer workout in. Came here for a week and tried out each of their classes: leaner, faster, and stronger. Each one has a different focus but all of them follow a 6-station circuit where you'll be doing different exercises. I've taken a couple boxing classes before but I'd still consider myself a newbie. Luckily the staff were all super welcoming and were really good about giving me pointers to help with my form. Some logistics: Gloves and wraps are available for rent for $5 together. For your first class your rental is free. Also, there will be at least one person on hand to help you with wrapping before class. Lockers are available for you to put your stuff away. There are 2 bathrooms, but I'd recommend changing beforehand because things get pretty chaotic and packed between classes. Oh, and be prepared to sweat a lot!

Yelp
Best workout, best coaches, best community. Prevail is truly my favorite workout I've ever done. And the fact that the more you go, the more you get out of it makes getting motivated to show up easier than just going to the gym. I can't recommend Prevail enough. This goes for both the WeHo & NoHo locations. I live in Silverlake and make the drive to both because it's simply superior to the other boxing gyms and workout classes I've done. Do yourself a favor and give it a try - you won't regret it!
