Pri Žabarju

I visited this hotel yesterday during my business trip. I can say, the stay there was very unusual. The main theme (as the name of the hotel states) is the frog. Entrance with frogs, sculpture of frogs everywhere, invoice with frog pictures, the windows have green frames and there are even frog legs in their restaurant. Why? Because a few metres away there’s a pond with huge amount of frogs :)) Regarding my stay there. The rooms were very clean and cozy. They have a view to the charming neighborhood of a bit older detached houses and traditional firework station. Breakfast and drinks were also fresh and diverse. Staff was very polite and helpful. And you can get to the city center in cca 15 minutes by bus. What else would we want? :)

This is a stunning little hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is fresh and extremely well presented with a good selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt, and croissants warm straight from the oven. The coffee is excellent too. The adjacent patisserie serves fantastic cake and is open everyday till late. We walked every day to town and loved the location being a little further away from the downtown and thus quieter in the evenings. Highly recommend staying here!

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel during a work trip. The staff is exceptionally friendly, rooms are both spacious and clean, and the breakfast is noteworthy, particularly the fresh apple juice. The all-in-one complex includes a restaurant, bar, sweet shop, and the hotel itself with only 8 rooms, providing a cozy and personalized experience. If I return to Ljubljana, I'll undoubtedly choose to stay here again. Edit: I have visited their famous restaurant. The staff was very helpful and the food was great.

We spent a lovely evening in an enchanting courtyard cafe under the chestnut trees. A big contributor to our pleasant time was our lovely waitress Županova. We are looking forward to visiting her/ the cafe again.

The cake and ice cream were very delicious. You can see it's homemade and tasty. Recommend it!

we didn't stay in their hotel, we had lunch there. it was very tasty. if you are in a hurry, i would not recommend you this restaurant, because everything goes a little bit slow, but we didn't mind. waiter was polite and friendly, food was delicious. 10/10

It was very nice to stay here during my work trip. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast is good especially the fresh espresso coffee. If I will come back to Ljubljana I will definitely go back here.

Well prepared hearty food at this fine establishment. I very much hope to be back some day. The lamb was juicy and succulent. The roasted veggies were full of flavor. The venison was nice, but my overall favourite was the štrukji!
