Pri Žabarju

Spotlessly clean with friendly and efficient staff. My room was simply furnished with a very comfortable bed and powerful shower. The breakfast was help yourself buffet style with a good selection of sweet and savoury items. The croissants were freshly made each day and delicious, the staff made barista style coffees to order. The staff kindly filled up my water bottle with ice and water each day ready for a day sightseeing. I dined in the restaurant one night and both the food and the service were excellent. The only drawback is the distance from the centre but an Uber is very economical here.

We were here just one night, but the accommodation was very nice. Clean room, clean bathroom. Very polite host, and breakfast was great!

Really enjoyed our stay at Pri Zabarju. We wanted somewhere with parking and ease of access to the city centre. There is a small amount of secured parking. Room was simple but well sized and had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was good and decent coffee. Pri Zabarju was quite busy as it is also a restaurant, bar and coffee shop. Seemed to be popular with locals. Also a short walk to get a busy into the city centre.|My only issue was the restaurant. Food was very good but the staff could have been more cheerful.

Nice, big and clean rooms. The free parking in the yard was appreciated! Charming house but not so suitable if you are visually impaired, there are a lot of steps and stairs. Breakfast was very good and the coffee was excellent. A tip: A smile from the staff would be nice and makes the guests feel more comfortable😊.

Fantastic bar with calming and relaxing ambient. In sunny days chestnut tree gives calming shadow. Ice cream is fresh and homemade. Coffee tastes amazing. I go there quite often since it's my favourite place in Ljubljana. This place is authentic Slovenian restaurant/cafe. I would strongly recommend you to try ice cream or coffee. 10/10

This is a stunning little hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is fresh and extremely well presented with a good selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt, and croissants warm straight from the oven. The coffee is excellent too. The adjacent patisserie serves fantastic cake and is open everyday till late. We walked every day to town and loved the location being a little further away from the downtown and thus quieter in the evenings. Highly recommend staying here!

I visited this hotel yesterday during my business trip. I can say, the stay there was very unusual. The main theme (as the name of the hotel states) is the frog. Entrance with frogs, sculpture of frogs everywhere, invoice with frog pictures, the windows have green frames and there are even frog legs in their restaurant. Why? Because a few metres away there’s a pond with huge amount of frogs :)) Regarding my stay there. The rooms were very clean and cozy. They have a view to the charming neighborhood of a bit older detached houses and traditional firework station. Breakfast and drinks were also fresh and diverse. Staff was very polite and helpful. And you can get to the city center in cca 15 minutes by bus. What else would we want? :)

L O L you go to the bar that appears next-door to check in. Good spacious room for the money. Really good breakfast and dinner downstairs in the bar or in the restaurant next-door. (I liked the frog legs). very friendly/ helpful service and good quality experience.
