Priest Ranch Tasting Room

I had a fabulous time at an event at the tasting room. Very classy yet not stuffy. Some very nice Cabs & a wonderful Rose was enjoyed by us. I live that there are multiple seating areas- each one different from the other. There is even a rooftop area where you can sit by the cute out or gaze at the stars. Their kitchen has scrumptious bites. I especially liked the potato crisps & the Good Dirt chocolates. Friendly staff too!

We started with an incredible lunch at The Kitchen then headed next door to Priest Ranch for their “Wine and Bacon Experience”—truly one of the best tastings we've ever had! This unique pairing takes wine tasting to a new level, featuring limited-production red wines perfectly matched with four different flavors of pork belly-style bacon (yes, even better than regular bacon!). Our flavors for August 2024 were: Mango & Mustard, Coffee & Maple, Guajillo Chili and Mediterranean Dry Rub. Each flavor was perfectly crafted to complement the wines, enhancing the tasting experience in such a memorable way. The service was outstanding, and the wine selections were spot on. If you’re looking for an unforgettable wine tasting, this is it. Book it—you won’t regret it!

It’s very hard to pick tastings out of over 500 wineries around the area. Priest Ranch caught our eye because of their interesting parings. We chose bacon one. But we’re pleasantly surprised that they were pork belly pieces and not bacon. They were delicious! The charcuterie board was delicious also. The wines were outstanding. And our host, Francisco, was very knowledgeable, accommodating and attentive. We felt very special because of him! Thank you, Francisco! We would recommend this winery/tasting room to our friends when they visit your valley.

The service was great — we were early on a hot, hot day. James welcomed us right in and set us up with water and a glass of wine to cool us down. Even though we were more than an hour early, the kitchen prepared our bacon and the wine tasting was set up. AND IT WAS DELICIOUS! The bacon slices were over a quarter inch thick and topped with amazing sauces. Each slice paired perfectly with Napa wines produced at the Priest Ranch vineyard. If you’re a fan of bacon (and who isn’t), this pairing cannot be missed. We will recommend this tasting to all friends who find themselves in the Napa/Yountsville area!

Amazing! Ingrid was an exceptionally talented, experienced, and knowledgeable host. Everyone's taste buds are different, so I will just say the wines were great. The showstopper is the bacon pairing, though!! Delicious! I highly recommend this establishment. I especially like that they offer their membership and/or purchase and ship options but are not pushy at all. I can't wait for the owners restaurant adjacent to the tasting room to open! Oh, they have a vegan option for pairing with the wines if you are so inclined.

Of all the tastings we've ever done, Priest Ranch's Bacon Experience is BY FAR the best. It's not really bacon, it's actually pork belly and each slice has a different glaze or sauce on it that pairs perfectly with each of the different red wines. The VIP room was so cozy and intimate, right next to a blazing fire. Jose took such good care of us and even brought us a few extra wines to try. We can't wait to come back again for our next couples retreat. Thank you!!

We were thinking about last minute wine tasting and couldn't find the right slot. But Jose accommodated us for a Wine splash. We loved the ambiance and how friendly the staff was. We will definitely come here next time for a full wine tasting experience. Chardonnay we tried for wine splash was amazing . 5/5 for it as well.

So delicious! I wish I could make chicken like this, and paired with the kimchi and as a unique delicious combo. The fries and dipping sauce was so tasty. Definitely add this to your list of restaurants to grab food and sit upstairs while you are in Yountville.

We reserved a spot to try their Bacon & Wine pairing, because everything tastes better with bacon, right? It turned out to be pork belly, so even better. 4 sliced prepared differently, each with its own wine selection. My favorite was the English pea purée pork belly. Great spices! My favorite wine was the 2021 Double Barrel , Cab/ petite sirah blend. Our server, Francisco was very knowledgeable and quite enthusiastic about the wines, as he described each bottle poured. The tasting room is located in the heart of downtown Yountville with great views from the high top seating. Come for the bacon, stay for the wine!

One of the best experiences I've have at a tasting! We were on our annual girls trip and they accommodated us last minute. James was super super helpful. We will definitely come again. I wish I can give many more stars!

We didn't bother to make reservations anywhere and so we just wanted to pop right in randomly to see what the wine tasted like. We were seated outside and had no idea how hot Napa would be that day. I personally enjoyed their Sauvignon Blanc and the red was good as well. It was a very cute place and we definitely will return in the future! Our friends from Ohio have never been to California or Napa so this was a sweet treat!

My friends and I had an amazing time at Priest Ranch with exceptional service thanks to Juan! He was a blessing, remembered that we called, answered all of our questions and just incredibly kind! He made my friend's birthday! I've been to many wineries, including places in Santa Ynez and never had such epic service! I highly recommend everyone to go and definitely get the bacon and wine pairing! It was so yummy and delicious!

Highly recommend the bacon pairing! I waited too long to write my review so my memory is failing me on names, but fantastic staff! Very friendly and accommodating, with great recommendations and detail regarding the pairings. The bacon was delicious (of course I enjoyed the wine as well!) We also did the cheeseboard which had a great, flavorful selection. Cute tasting room in Yountville that I'll definitely head back to for a repeat tasting.

Absolutely loved priest ranch! We did the taste of terroir tasting first thing on a Friday morning and had the place almost to ourselves. The host was so incredible friendly and knowledgeable, the wines were amazing! Fell in love with the sauv blanc and I'm a red person! We got a lot more tastings that what's standard included they really go above and beyond. The chocolate tasting was a real treat and so different from what's out there. Presentation was gorgeous too. Definitely would come back!

Priest Ranch was one of my favorite wineries to visit on our tour of Napa last year. One of the reasons I really loved my experience at the Yountville tasting for what was our 13th winter stop was that it was a bacon and wine pairing. The tasting room in Yountville was very hip and chic, with a sophisticated design that comprised the wine cellar with its glass walls and wooden shelving. While we enjoyed the experience at one of the high top tables, the lounge area is also very lovely with the fireplace and leather sofas. Priest Ranch meticulously crafted a bacon and wine pairing that was supremely magical and bursted with life and luscious levity. Our host on this culinary excursion, Jose, was the man. He was incredibly gracious and accommodating, as we enjoyed the pairings that went wonderfully well with the wine selections. We enjoyed the double barrel and lot releases so much that we picked up a few bottles to ship back home. Additionally, we made some new friends during our tasting, which is always nice when you are imbibing on wine and noshing on bacon. But my oh my... the bacon! Between the marinate, glaze and preparation of each, the bacon was sensational and paired very well with each of the selected wines. I even saw how each compared to the others. Very magical. The synergy of bacon and wine led to an another amazing experience

This is a favorite for sure. The wines are fantastic and always a pleasure to drink. The staff is so nice and lovely. We love going here!!

Fun place to go, in Yountville, where you can get a decent smash burger. Seats outside were nice too.

Visited the Yountville tasting room with an appointment for the unique bacon tasting. We had never seen or heard of such a thing, and so the novelty got us there. The wines were nice and the bacon pairings were really interesting and complementary. It is definitely something different to try.

About a week late with my review but here we go! Mya our server was amazing! Sweetest most knowledgeable gal I've come across in a long time. Although I'm a Bay Area girl and not a tourist, I can imagine the out of towers that come her way are left with a pleasant experience here in our beautiful wine country! Now for the bacon! AMMMMAZING! I could have ate 4 plates of that yummy pork belly! Great experience and awesome music on Thursday nights! I'll definitely be back. Thanks again for a wonderful evening Mya!

As locals, Priest Ranch has become one of our fav destinations for a glass or a bottle of red because we're a big fan of their bold red wines. Yes, they offer interesting tastings too with an array of native whites and reds but sometimes I just want to chill with something and someone I love. Also appreciate that they have outside seating (along with inside), and a team that is always welcoming and kind.

I came to Napa with a few girl friends and we decided to just stop into Priest Ranch's tasting room in Yountville, little did we know we would be spending our entire day here! We were helped by Juan and Emma. Juan is an amazing host full of knowledge and humor; he helped us pick which tasting we wanted based off our preferences. Emma is incredibly sweet and made this amazing cheese board with the cutest cheese flowers! Our party sat outside where the weather was perfect, we were checked on regularly and enjoyed our beautiful Sunday afternoon By the time we left we were making plans to come back to see the restaurant ,which will be next door and opening in a couple of weeks, and for the live music they will have during winter

The wine, the staff, the ambiance all on point at Priest Ranch tasting room! We were able to stop in last minute on a whim after visiting the Napa Valley Museum across the way in Yountville. I had a glass of brut rose which was so delicious we bought a bottle to take home. My husband had the bacon pairing and I had a few bites and sips from. The bacon was thoughtfully prepared with unique flavors to pair with each wine. I LOVED the Peacemaker red wine blend with fruit notes and a silky finish. I will be back, they are opening a restaurant next door!

There was one day we chose to stay in town and go to tasting rooms within walking distance of our hotel. Priest ranch intrigued me for the Bacon & Wine Experience: four distinct thick cuts of pork belly with four of our wines. I had made reservations well in advance on a Thursday at 3:00. Upon arrival we were able to sit outside which was nice. I will say though, this was probable my least favorite out of the tastings we went to, nothing particularly wrong, just sort of blah. Our Tasting Room Host, introduced himself, poured our wines, served our bacon and left. The pairing was fun to try but not a repeat.

Came here for Restaurant week (Jan 2024) so got to try a good variety of dishes along with a glass of wine (had the white blend- not my favorite and the man serving took too long carefully making sure he poured the right amount, basically making sure he didn't over pour by a drop). The food was amazing! Personal favorite was the French toast, crispy on the outside and ever so moist on the inside. We sat at the concrete bar on the rooftop, nice and quiet, but could still people watch across the street.

Hubs and I arrived in the Tasting Room, which turned out to be a very happy accident. Pointed our car towards the direction and mission of finding a well known smash burger. We located parking in the back of the building, and it was great to note that they have Tesla chargers. Stepping in between the buildings, the whoosh of the tasting room's door seemed to invite us in and the plush couches pulled us in further. Definitely not a place that would dole out burgers, but I was curious and stepped up to the host stand. We didn't quite have a reservation, but luckily we arrived early enough (11am) that they were able to set us on the front patio on this gorgeous day in Yountville. As I do in my normal fashion, I checked in on Yelp and was surprised that we had just earned a free charcuterie board. But this wasn't just any charcuterie board. It was a work of art! With salami infused with truffles and mushrooms, and a floral centerpiece that was fashioned out of cheese! Refer to my photo for reference, and commence the drool. We were seated with a test of the brut rose to help cleanse our palettes. Our host/sommelier carefully described the story of each each wine which was progressively more enjoyable with each pour. We started with the Double Barrel, then progressed to the Remedy, then the Peacemaker. But the bonus taste and the surprise of the afternoon was their Snake Oil!

We stumbled upon the kitchen next door yesterday after struggling to figure out what to grab for lunch and it was so good we decided to look into the tasting room. The bacon wine pairing was nothing less than amazing. So fun and unique and we enjoyed all of the wine and bacon. This is a great wine tasting!! The staff was all very friendly and informative and made the experience great!

The staff here is awesome. Especially Juan and Jose. They are always very gracious and the wines are good! It's not to common to find a Napa Cab for $50. They have one here, and it's worth it!

Priest Ranch Kitchen is a must stop when you go to Napa Valley! The Kitchen and the tasting room are located in the heart of Yountville. The food is amazing! It is opened for breakfast and lunch. At my office we ordered 16 lunches to go and everyone enjoyed their meals immensely!! Some of these people are pretty selective eaters so this was a true testament on how amazing the food is. Today my husband,son and I were out wine tasting and I wanted to check the ambiance at Priest Ranch. There was plenty of seating even a rooftop outdoor dining area. We had another incredible meal. Recommended the chicken sandwich, the smash burger, latke, burrito with the homemade sausage, the Panini, and Gnocchi. The flavors of the Latke were amazing with a fresh lemon to accentuate the crispy potato pancake. I can't wait to go back! You can also pair your dish with their recommended wines. Another incredible thing about this outstanding restaurant is it is reasonable!

Incredible wines! Every wine we tried was fantastic but we especially loved the petite sirah and the double barrel Cabernet. Juan was a fantastic guide for our experience, recommending a tasting flight that was perfect for our palates. We also had lunch from their restaurant during our tasting and it was incredible food, very fairly priced for the area. We can't wait to come back!

Let me start off by saying the bacon and wine tasting is the best unique thing! The kitchen food prices are reasonable and much enjoyable. The food portions were generous enough to share. Indulging in the wine tasting experience at Priest Ranch was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Juan was knowledgeable, and guided us through a journey of the senses, introducing us to an array of exquisite wines meticulously crafted on-site. The ambiance was nothing but warm, welcoming, clean and open. They provide indoor and outdoor seating. The fireplaces provided a warm room especially in the vip room which made it feel so cozy on a cold day. Coupled with insightful commentary and personalized attention from the staff, every moment felt like a cherished memory in the making. Juan made sure me and my family had the best experience along with unforgettable memories. His service made us feel so loved and comfortable. I cant wait to come back!

This experience was completely unexpected. The wine is bold and delicious...and then....oh my goodness....THE BACON! We enjoy wine country often as we live close. We love Yountville... yet this is a hidden gem we stumbled across on IG. We took a chance! I can not say enough about this lovely place. Go, have fun!! Get lost in the bacon ... and enjoy their wine. I have visited a few times now. Juan has been our server and he is beyond helpful! He always has an upbeat, positive attitude and extremely knowledgable about the wines and cheeses they offer. We did the bacon and wine tasting. It was so fun! We will def be back soon. Thank you for making us feel right at home, Juan! This winery is lucky to have you.

Don't you know what it says to customers when you have at least 10 open tables and you tell paying customers at 2pm that you're "fully committed" and can't take walk ins? It tells me there are many other wineries to visit and leave lots of my money with.

Hands down the right place to stop for an incredible wine tasting. I got turned on to Priest Ranch wines because I tried their wines at the SF Ferry Building. They were one of my favorite wines I tasted at a special event at the Ferry building and there were 20 other wineries to try, but they intrigued me most and I wanted more, so off I go to their tasting room in Yountville with my wine enthusiast friend. We arrive with reservations and greeted by Juan. He was our guide to the wonders of Priest Ranch wines. He poured us a number of tastings. I'm a fan of big, bold, red Cabs and Napa wines. Priest Ranch delivers. Juan was charming, funny & just chill. He gave us insight about the wines and what the future holds for Priest Ranch tasting room. They are expanding next store into a full on restaurant. And if it is anything like the delectable fine wines they pour, it's gonna be epic. But let me get back to the tasting. It was incredible we had a charcuterie board that was a splendid selection of morsels that matched back to the wines including a bacon jam that was sweet, smokey and salty. They have a wine and bacon tasting available too. They sell the jars of bacon jam on the premises. Buy one you won't be sorry and it will bring you back to the memorable tasting experience you just had at Priest Ranch wines. The interior of the tasting room is modern with clean lines and plenty of comfy seating. The large windows expand to the sidewalk area with more seats outside. They have various weekly events and soon to open restaurant but whom I kidding the wines are the star here and of course Juan was the added bonus. Priest Ranch wines is a Yountville must.

AMAZING. We were a little disappointed in finding out it was only a tasting room instead of a vineyard but our minds quickly changed when we tasted the wines. We got a few reds which were pretty good. We also got a free cheese board for checking in through yelp, which is a must! Our server was so helpful! We still cant get the flower looking cheese out of our head. And you have to try their sweet wine. So delicious we had to buy it!!

Preist Ranch is a boutique wine brand in Napa. We have enjoyed their wines for years but a visit to their tasting room always results in new adventures. Reservations are highly recommended for tastings due to high demand although the team will do their best to accommodate walk-ins. We participated in the bacon and wine pairing experience. Our host had everything prepared when we arrived and offered us a splash of their newly released sparkling rose and then a a really nice overview of the wine offerings. The pairings were super creative and added a wonderful depth to the wines. We are super excited to hear that Priest Ranch will be opening a kitchen in early 2023 to accompany their fine wine offerings. A wonderful place to stop in downtown Yountville. Highly recommend this tasting room and the line of wines offered.

We came here for a planned wine tasting trip, what a spectacular experience. Juan was our tasting host. He was charismatic and full of jokes. We enjoyed him as a host. I would highly recommend this tasting experience. The wine was terrific and I look forward to visiting again.

Bacon & Wine Pairing?!? Whaaaaat! This is a cute small tasting room in the heart of Yountville. Shaded patio seating is great, or you can find more options indoors. Our Sommelier was not the most knowledgeable, but friendly enough. We got a great cheese plate and enjoyed the wine, but our favorite was the bacon flight! It came with 4 different flavored slices of bacon, that rotate seasonally. Such a popular spot!

Wine was okay, not the best we've had in Napa. Service was mediocre. We had a reservation but definitely got the lost in the shuffle of things- had to ask for breadsticks, no water like other tables. Host knew some about the wine but didn't sell us on the story or background.

The service was good and wine and bacon pairing was excellent. The vibe and atmosphere was relaxed but with a sophisticated touch. The bacon flight was very good and paired very well with the wine. I would definitely come here for the bacon and wine pairing , just make sure it's not right after lunch or dinner because you will leave feeling very full!

We had such a great experience with the pork belly paired with the wine tasting, so yummy! It was wonderful that our furbaby was so welcomed and we loved sitting by the fire....it's such a beautiful place. Highly recommend!

Came here for my mothers birthday and it was also the first time we came to Napa valley and we had a blast at first we had to double think about the pairing but it totally works and is tasty! Staff is super friendly if your ever in the area I highly recommend them!

We met Juan, the floor manager, at our hotel the night before, who invited us to a tasting. We are so happy we stopped by on our last day in Napa, as the experience was incredible. We had an excellent homemade bacon jam and charcuterie with a five wine tasting ranging from a sparkling Grenache Blanc to a full bodied Cab Merlot blend. This was one of the rare tastings on our trip where I legitimately loved all five wines. Juan made us feel right at home and provided impeccable service throughout. Will absolutely stop by again the next time we are up in Napa.

There are so many places to visit and taste it was hard to just choose one. As we walked up and down the street this one stood out the most. We were hesitant to go as many places were booked with reservations but we were greeted with "we have space" we chose to sit outside and offered water immediately. The menu was brought out and a flight was chosen to split since i had an appt shortly. The gal that helped us was very tentative and aware of those around her. She a made sure to give us the background of each taste and made sure to give us time to enjoy before bringing the next taste. She stayed and chatted with us for a while and gave us tips on how to venture the area! The place is clean. Masks are worn and staff is great

We stopped by the Tasting Room as we didn't have any plans. It was a great choice! We received the best service from Juan! Had the charcuterie board which looked amazing and tasted really good. We were topped off with more cheese and quince paste upon our request. We didn't try but heard that the bacon pairing is amazing. Juan also had great recommendations for the area. I would go back to Yountville just to hang out here and people watch from the outdoor patio!

I loved the bacon and wine tasting. The mustard one was my fave. Jose was my server and he was kind and generous w recommends. Francisco was there and not my server but friendly and attentive too. I would go back again

We were very excited to visit Priest Ranch after my parents' recommendation and cannot wait to return! We had the best time at Priest Ranch out of everywhere we visited on our trip to Napa Valley. Jose was our host&pourer and provided one of the best experiences we've had in Napa, Paso and more locally in Morgan Hill. When we checked in (late at the last minute and accommodated graciously) Jose showed us to our table in the corner of the tasting room near the fire place with a pretty view of the street outside and of the glass wine vault. Our tasting pours were prepared and Jose welcomed us with a fresh pour glass of Rose. And these pours were not skimpy like some wineries in Napa. We reserved a bacon and wine tasting- it was sooo fun and delicious. The reds were outstanding with my faves being the Cab and Bordeaux. We brought a bottle of the cab to enjoy at home. The bacon was outstanding and in generous portions. In celebration of our honeymoon the house gave us a complimentary charcuterie board for us to keep and glass of cab. The board had sheep's milk cheese and chorizo- not your boring typical cheese board. I spilled a glass of water over and Jose even offered a bottle of stain remover just in case the wine stained our clothes. Luckily it was just water but Jose was kind and quick acting, something that wasn't necessary but very much appreciated. We ended with a glass of Syrah and I could have stayed there all day. We will be back very soon!

This place has an awesome bacon and wine tasting. My husband and I came to Napa, specifically Yountville, for our 5-year anniversary. I saw that this place had a bacon and wine tasting so you know I definitely had to book this spot for one of our wine tasting experiences. The parking is right behind Priest Ranch. We had the very first tasting time slot so we were served right away. The guy greeted us at the door and showed us to our table. The wines we were going to taste were already poured. The one who sat us at the table introduced himself and gave a little background on the tasting room, the wines and the owners while our bacon was being cooked. We were given a small charcuterie board to share, which contained nuts, cheeses, and meats. They were all so delicious. I'm a nut for charcuterie boards. Finally, the smell of bacon was wafting through the air. We were served our bacon flight! We were served 4 pieces of bacon goodness, each infused with a different flavor to complement the wines - pumpkin spice bacon, Hawaiian pineapple, tomato glaze, and cherry wine. My favorite was the tomato glaze, but surprisingly pumpkin spice bacon was not too bad. All the flavors were definitely present. Unfortunately, they don't sell these bacon flavors in-house. These are especially made for the winery. We ended up buying 3 bottles of wine, 2 cabs and I believe a Syrah. I encourage you to reserve a bacon and wine tasting! It's definitely a different experience than just plain old charcuterie.

I'll give the wines four stars. 2016 Double Barrel retails for $70/bottle. 2014 Coach Gun $80/bottle. 2013 Coach Gun $90/bottle. The 2013 was smoothest and tastiest of the reds. The 2013 Brut Rose was fruity and refreshing. They also provide a chablis to start to cleanse the pallet and a sauvignon blanc at the end. I'll give the bacons five stars. I have never had such tasty bacons. The chef did a very fine job with these creations and pairing them with the wines. Terrific. I'll give the cheese plate five stars. It contained four types of cheeses (hard and soft), dried figs, and white almonds. PSA: You get this by checking in on Yelp. On my original review, I explained a payment issue where the advertised price was different than the actual. However, Priest Ranch honored the original price. So based on my tasting experience, Priest Ranch deserves five stars.
