On a cool and wet Wednesday morning, my wife and I stumbled in here looking for coffee, and we weren't disappointed. They have a good coffee menu, but my hint is to take the house coffee at Kr400. It's in a flask at the end of the bar, together with cups and cream, and it's free refills. Superb value and an excellent drinking coffee. By all means, pay more for your cappuccinos and the like, but if it's coffee you like, you will not be disappointed in their house brew. Staff were friendly and the cafe had locals and tourists in - a good sign as locals stay away from tourist traps. This cafe proudly states on the outside that it's been here since 1951, and it isn't difficult to feel that sense of longevity inside, as few concessions have been made to modernity. But it's brill, cosy and welcoming - what more would you want?
