Party of 2, 19:30 service, 8- course tasting menu with wine pairing
Service: immediately greeted at the door, help with coat check and walked to our table. All the staff was very friendly and spoke English.
Food: amazing food, every plate was a new flavour for us, some highlights were mushroom ice cream and king crab tartare. Delightful new taste sensations. Food portions were just right, with a lot of different styles, textures and presentation. Each plate was well thought out and followed each other sensibly. Wine was paired wisely with every course and sommelier was able to adjust to your personal preference well. Food and wine respected the nature and natural gifts of the surrounding region as well as France.
Ambiance: ski lodge, rustic, cosy and warm with soft music.
Only complains were it took them a little long to start our courses at the beginning, bread wasn’t served until we were in our second starter and the butter was straight from fridge to table :( rock hard when we tried to dig in. But even so we had a wonderful time with delicious food!
