Great find! Great value and great location! Highly recommend for a quick solo trip, but nothing fancy. Super friendly team working there as well. The exercise room has all the basics for a nice morning workout, and the coffee was a nice way to start the day. Breakfast was fairly underwhelming, however, and the place looked like it could use a few upgrades here or there. Would go back for sure!

I love this hotel, my mother and I were treated exceptionally well. We were given 2 courtesy calls whilst in the room to make sure we had everything we needed. Dina the receptionist, couldn’t have been more helpful if she tried. She was absolutely amazing, my mother and I absolutely love her! She is kind, efficient, always has a smile on her face and goes out of her way to sort any problems we may have had and we did drive her a little mad :) Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, everyone to the manager of the breakfast was also so smiley and helpful and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was delicious with many options and Friday night dinner was amazing with so many choices of what to eat and with my mother being a fussy eater, she even said that whatever she had was delicious. The atmosphere was uplifting and we just away feeling really happy and content. Location is amazing, we managed to get to the bus stop easily or get taxis. It’s in a great place, very close to Mamilla (within walking distance) and not long to get to the central bus or train station. I could go and on, this is our second year coming to this hotel and we will be coming back next year and I cannot recommend this hotel enough to friends, family or anyone else for that matter. If there are any problems, they do anything in their power to sort it out. The cleaning lady (I don’t know her name) is so sweet, and also goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. She is amazing! The rooftop is a lovely place to sit and relax. It would be nice to just have some umbrellas as some shade. It may not be a 5* hotel however you are treated like you are in one.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Prima Royale Hotel in Jerusalem, and I can’t say enough about the incredible staff. I arrived late one night after a long journey, and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and settled in, and that personal touch really made all the difference. The hotel itself is lovely — comfortable, well-appointed rooms, a fantastic rooftop with beautiful views, and a location that makes exploring Jerusalem a breeze. But it’s truly the people here who set it apart. Their professionalism, friendliness, and eagerness to help made my stay unforgettable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Prima Royale to anyone visiting Jerusalem, and I’ll certainly be back.

I had a wonderful stay at the Prima Royale Hotel! The location is perfect—right in the center of Jerusalem, close to many attractions, yet still peaceful and quiet. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and recently renovated, which made our stay even more enjoyable.||The food was a real highlight—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all fresh, delicious, and offered a nice variety. The rooftop is spacious with an amazing view of the city—definitely worth a visit during your stay.||A special thank you to Eliran, the assistant general manager, for his kindness and attentiveness. The service throughout the hotel was excellent—professional, welcoming, and helpful. Highly recommended!

"The hotel surpassed all my expectations! I came for a special seminar given by the National Library of Israel. The staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment we checked in. They kept the cohort together as much as possible on the same floor, The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. And all the amenities needed were available, but best of all was the romantic view of the city (Especially the rooftop) which was absolutely splendid. The breakfast spread was very good and tasty. And I will certainly return during my next visit!"

Wow, where do I even start? First of all, don’t believe everything people write here. The service at the hotel was just okay — nothing more. As for the room, when I book for a couple and a child, I expect a larger room, not to be crammed into a tiny couple's room with just a sofa bed opened up. Sure, other hotels do that too, but come on — you can’t do that when the room is only 16 square meters. The bed was awful — I can’t even call it a bed. We actually preferred sleeping on the sofa because the bed was so hard. Now let’s talk about the dining room — it was a complete nightmare. When we walked in, it was just horrible. The vegetables were disgusting, and we stayed there for two days, during which I’m pretty sure they didn’t replace the dips even once. Don’t go near it unless you want food poisoning. As for the eggs, they claim it’s an omelet station, but what I saw were eggs floating in oil that I’m sure weren’t fresh. The dishwashing was terrible, especially the glasses — we couldn’t even get close to them. We asked for disposable cups, and they gave us just three. When we asked for more, they said they were out. And don’t even get me started on dinner. Why should I pay an extra 500 shekels for food that literally made me want to throw up? Nothing looked appetizing. We ended up going to a restaurant, which by the way, is very hard to find on a Friday night. That’s what we paid 500 shekels for? I absolutely do not recommend even stepping foot in this place. My advice — read the bad reviews before booking. I seriously don’t understand how this hotel

No frills, but clean, well kept. Beds were nice and firm, which is my preference. Water in the shower gets nice and hot! There is a mini fridge in the room. I did a la carte meals; the breakfast buffet was excellent. I also signed up in advance for Shabbat lunch, and it was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. On Shabbat, at first I forgot to turn on the heater, and later the room hot too warm. Two different front desk people, both not Jewish, graciously offered to turn the heater on and off. This is a classy place. A lot of families stay here, and there was a young adult seminary group who stayed here over the weekend. Close to many things - 30 min walk to the Kotel, 6 min walk to the Jerusalem great synagogue, 20 min walk to Ben Yehuda street, 25-30 min walk to the Shuk. There are a few bus stops very close to the hotel, where lots of busses stop. They all go to the train station.

Disappointing Experience at Prima Royale Hotel I stayed at the Prima Royale Hotel with my daughters for a weekend from Thursday to Saturday, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Upon entering our room, we were shocked by how small it was. It was absolutely unsuitable for three people — there was barely any space to move around. The so-called “double bed” was uncomfortable, hard, and much too small. The sofa bed wasn’t any better; it was so uncomfortable that we could hardly sleep at night. Breakfast was a disaster. The fruits and vegetables were rotten, and the eggs were literally swimming in a puddle of liquid. There was practically nothing edible, which is something we’ve never encountered before in a hotel breakfast. On Saturday morning, they served dry, inedible bourekas and jachnun, and to our surprise, the tomato sauce was replaced with plain tomato paste. Needless to say, we had to go out to eat because we couldn't eat anything provided by the hotel. We also paid a significant amount for Friday night dinner, but we walked out of the dining room after five minutes. The food looked so unappetizing that we were genuinely afraid it would make us sick. We ended up dining at a restaurant instead, spending several hundred shekels more just to have a decent meal. The room guide mentioned a “women’s kit” available at the front desk. When I asked for it, the staff had no idea what I was talking about. All in all, I do not recommend this hotel and we will definitely never return.
