We came here to celebrate out friends birthday and they've been wanting us to try it for weeks. All the food and drink was delicious. I especially liked their interactive menu , being able to see photos of every menu item helped me pick what I really wanted, because you eat with your eyes first! Our server was kind and attentive and let us know that the birthday girls' dessert was on the house. Their desserts were great but wow their spin on bananas foster is STELLAR. Banana creme filled donut holes with ice cream and the caramel sauce, just wow. We will definitely come back for more.

Fantastic meal and service. Kate gave great wine reccomendations and very attentive during our entire experience. Started with the cajun butter chargrilled oyster then onto a wedge salad. Entrees were a 16oz ribeye and elk chops special, both exceeded expectations. Highly recommend giving this place a try. Definitely not the cheapest place aroind but we'll worth the cost if your looking for a great dinner out.

In the Brooksville FL area this is the place.. Its not cheap , Hell it isn't even reasonable. But the service was on point, Clean, Very clean, Valet parking, Great steaks. Break down. (2) beers (1) mix drink. (1) bottle of wine $95. (2) great Rib eye , (2) sides. Tip bar, Valet, & excellent waitress. Total dinning experience $400.00. Yes We will return.

Forget the traditional five-star Tampa restaurants! Prime 88 is just special and fulfilling. Excellent service. Most delicious menu items and even an opportunity for my family Christmas dinner to have a special seafood Tower created just for us! We truly enjoyed our time there!

Prime 88 was absolutely amazing! If I could give it a 20/10, I absolutely would. The food was unbelievable — the steaks just melted in your mouth. Kevin was a wonderful server and made the experience even better. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but 100% worth it!

We went to Prime 88 for our anniversary dinner, and everything was perfect! The food was outstanding, full of flavor and beautifully presented. Our server, Raymond, was amazing, friendly, attentive, and made the night even more special. The manager also stopped by to check on us and surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and exceptional service!

I Setup our 16 year anniversary here. My wife loved it as did I. Although they didn't have my table setting as I requested everything else was fantastic. Food was wonderful and our server was great. I dont recommend the tomahawk Ribeye as it fell short of or expectations based on the size alone Especially $150 for the steak cost alone not including everything else we ordered. The flavor and presentation were perfect and needed no sauce at all. The calamari was so tender and cooked to perfection. The oysters Rockefeller were amazing. All in all we will return to dine again and we do highly recommend this upscale restaurant to everyone. Our bill total was $250 for 2 people.

Everything was amazing! Special treats as it was my birthday. I had crab legs, large portion I could not eat it all, lobster bisque was perfection!

I always go here when I'm visiting friends in the area. We were seated right away for our reservation. We had asked for patio seating as there is live music on the weekends. The food is fantastic!! Steaks are always perfectly done. Sides are portioned to share. Wine and liquor selections are also top tier. The desserts are also scrumptious. I usually get it to go because we have never finished our whole meal. The on duty manger also stopped by several times to check on us but our waitress Shanin was amazing and the service provided was top tier!! See you next time Prime!!

We had a very large group! But prime staffed to perfection! The waiter was helpful and gave use good recommendations! The cocktails are amazing! Especially the seasonal pear! Ordered way too much food! Had the shrimp appetizer and the wedge salad. Both are large enough to share. I ordered a 8 ounce filet and husband had a ribeye. He is picky and wanted med rare. First steak was med well reordered another. Meanwhile rest of our party ate their dinners. Second worse than the first. Kept it since all were done and wanted photos. They did comp a dessert and didn't charge for the extra steak but, as the husband said they are a restaurant that specializes in steak. Should have gotten this right!

Prime 88 is a very beautiful upscale Steakhouse. The design is industrial MOD. There are some very interesting ginormous sculptures beside the building in a garden area for your viewing pleasure. I love the artistic edge of the design. It's my absolute fave. The menu has some interesting features, one is the Oysters Rockefeller. They make theirs with ginormous chunks of super crispy panchetta topped with hollandaise. Very decadent. We got two dozen, however, they were completely different, so they are not very consistent. Prime 88 has a gourgous MOD interior which makes it a fabulous celebratory restaurant & experience. The lighting is super mod & fabulous. Bar is lovely for happy hour also & the service is phenomenal. However, the wine list sucks. There are no proper wines or Champagnes either. Both times we were there to celebrate a special occasion & we couldn't find anything to drink. We ordered one glass of champagne & hated it. We don't drink much anymore so it's not really a big deal, we just won't be back for dinner until the wine/champagne list is updated with some more appropriate wine pairings. It's also very very expensive. I don't mind very very expensive, if it is luxury & you can deliver on that. However, the wine list here is more like you would find at Circle K. There are some other things I would like to try on the menu so we are just going to try lunch next time. Will Return.

We made a mid-week reservation to celebrate some anniversaries with friends, and everything from start to finish was wonderful. Service was outstanding, our server was personable, attentive, and made the evening extra enjoyable. Even though we were there close to closing time, we never felt rushed. Food-wise, the French onion soup (the only photo I managed to grab) was absolutely delicious. I ordered the chicken marsala and give it a solid 5/5. A special highlight: I had called the day before to ask about bringing our own cake, and they not only said yes but went above and beyond with a full presentation. They even cut it on a cart and packed up the leftovers for us, which I really appreciated.

Very nice place, very clean. Servers are always good. Food is good but very expensive. Nice place to go for a date night and it's local in Spring Hill. Usually pretty busy so make sure you have a reservation.

Excellent steaks. Excellent service. Excellent decor. No complaints. Looked like there a cool happy hour crowd. Oh wait there's one problem, it's 45 minutes north of airport by highway but we'll worth the drive. I found it by accident right by exit #46 Suncoast Highway. SR 589. I will return and try the full menu.

I've driven by at least a dozen times heading north and always wondered! This year, we traveled a bit north to celebrate my husband's birthday and Prime 88 did not disappoint! We started with drinks and a charcuterie plate- the Manhattan was perfect, but their house smoked old fashioned is made with Maple Bourbon, so don't be surprised when you take a sip! The cheese and meats were wonderful. Then we ordered dinner- their steaks are wet aged for a few weeks and were cooked to perfection. I had the steak Diane, he had the ribeye with lobster tail, and we shared the Brussel sprouts and truffle fries- more food than we knew what to do with! The staff knew we were celebrating a birthday, so they offered a birthday card, a printed picture, and dessert for the birthday boy- he chose the absolutely decadent chocolate cake. I chose their coffee service (perfect) and their famed crème brûlée...and I'd do it again and again! The bill was pretty hefty, so this would not be a spot to frequent for a full spread very often, but we plan to pop in for starters, drinks, or a sweet treat every now and then! The location is a bit obscure, but the patio is gorgeous, the interior is modern steakhouse- like a chic warehouse, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. A diamond in the rough.

Don't waste your money go to outback prime ribeye was ok French o ion soup was edible baked potato was hard and butter wouldn't melt manager said try double baked next time fyi there won't be a next time the blackened grouper was good dad said the lobster tails were over seasoned

Food and service were outstanding. Decor and ambiance were upscale and refreshing to experience for the area. Accommodated a large group for a birthday, timing everyone's food appropriately so we were able to enjoy it hot together. Their filet mignon was some of the best I've had in my life, I am impressed with the quality and attention to taste for even the side dishes. I added the mushrooms and onions with no additional sauce for my steak, and it was not missed. The seasoning and cut selection spoke for itself. Definitely will be back to try more of the menu.

Amazing food and amazing service! This is THE place to go for a celebration- anniversary, birthday or just a really good meal. Their steaks are amazing- perfectly curated for flavor and perfectly cooked. But don't limited yourself to steak. They prepare chicken excellently as well. And no matter which sides you choose you won't be disappointed. My favorite is their Mac and cheese ( without the lobster). I'm not six years old but it's the best Mac and cheese anywhere and it makes me feel as if I'm six again! Their Brussels Sprouts are also delicious and I'm not usually a fan of sprouts. And it's hard not to fill up on their bread! Low lights and attentive service give the place the ambiance of much pricier restaurant.

Found this place out of the blue, while in Brooksville playing in a music festival. Food was amazing.....TOP NOTCH. It's a very unlikely place to find such a fine restaurant... I'll be returning this year for my birthday.

We visited Prime 88 for Easter Saturday dinner with family, and I can confidently say--it exceeded our already high expectations. The space is immaculate and impressively modern, even beyond what you typically see at high-end restaurants. From the sleek interiors to the wave-to-open bathroom doors, every detail felt elevated and thoughtfully designed. The service was equally impeccable. Our server, Thalia, was an absolute gem--attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Not a single dirty plate or breadcrumb was left behind throughout the night. The manager stopping by our table was a lovely touch and made us feel truly welcome. We started with a round of cocktails--Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Lemon Drop, and Bourbon Smash--and each one was flawlessly balanced and dangerously smooth. For food, we enjoyed Oysters Rockefeller, Chateaubriand for two (carved tableside!), mac & cheese, onion rings, and arugula salad. Every bite was better than the last, and the presentation was top-tier. The wine list was excellent, and we capped off the evening with the Hummingbird Cheesecake and Tall, Dark & Handsome chocolate cake--not a crumb left behind. After dinner, we wandered to the back and found a cozy enclosed extension with its own bar and a view of a beautiful fountain, complete with live piano music that added to the charm. We're so grateful to have a place like this close to home--no need to drive into Tampa for a top-notch dining experience anymore. Whether for a full dinner or just cocktails and apps at the bar, we'll absolutely be back. Prime 88 has officially raised the bar.

The food was great. I ordered the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. It was my dad's bday so he wanted the surf and turf! The stake was huge but he enjoyed every bite (24 hours later and several tries). Great ambiance for special occasions or casual enough to sit at the bar and enjoy the company of others. The waitress was new so I won't say much about the service. But management was attentive and helpful.

I was looking for fine dining close by. Prime 88 fit the description par excellence. Service from Kevin was beyond exceptional. He paid attention to every possible detail. The food was delicious. We tried appetizers, soup and entrees. Each was done to perfection. Plan on returning very soon.

Service and food are very good. It's a fancy experience worth trying at least once since the prices are on the higher end. Perfect for a special occasion. The restaurant is very cute.

Had problems with the food. He says in the reviews to leave a number or E-Mail and he (Brian ) the manager will get back to you, It is over 2 months, called him 2 times and sent 4 different E-Mails. He never responds. Can you trust a person like that??

This place is great! The service & ambiance was excellent & the food was Amazing! My filet mignon with sautéed mushrooms was in point & Mashed potatoes were magnificent. Overall wonderful experience. Henry our waiter was awesome. Can't wait to visit again.

Second time here and never disappoints! We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, 2 steaks, onion rings, baked potato, a Cesar salad, Cabernet wine, iced tea, and strawberry lemonade. Everything was delicious. Our waiter was Michael who we highly recommend. Also, I ran into my friend (Devonte) from middle school who was also working. Highly recommend him as well. Ambiance is upscale and . Free valet parking or free self-parking. Sam at the valet was very nice. The hostess was also friendly and took a picture outside for us. We will definitely be back!!!

I must say we have been to Prime 88 numerous times. The food and drinks are always 5 Star. We love the Ambiance and usually have our favorite table. The most important element to all this is the customer service. They make us feel very comfortable, always acknowledge us and are very friendly. From the very first time we are greeted by the staff at the front door to the main servers or the back servers and the expertise behind the bar. They all do such a great job. We always ask for KEVEN as our server and he does a superb job. He remembers what we like, plans ahead and just provides superior customer service that makes are entire experience such a pleasure. We have been to a lot of restaurants all over the United States and this was by far the best!! The food tasted amazing! The presentation was unbelievable! The service that Nicholas gave was so professional, attentive and he knew his menu items! The only down side of this restaurant is we did not realize how fancy it was and we were not dressed for the occasion.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner tonight. Our starter was the whipped feta and it did not disappoint. My steak Diane was delicious and my husband loved the ribeye. Service was fantastic!

We went for the first time on our wedding anniversary. The staff and food were amazing. We had the shareable porterhouse steak. So delicious. We will definitely be back.

Long story short. This food is one of the best if you are considering Spring Hill area. Is it worth the high prices? That's gonna be a different calculation for everyone. They have some good dishes and some better dishes and some even to die for. There are cheaper places with better food if you consider a larger area, like the Tampa area. But this is Brooksville. An annoying trend for my visits is a waiter that a bit stuffy. I guess it comes with the prices. But if you want to see the cliche snooty waiter and wonderful food, come enjoy.

Over priced and over hyped. Wife had to return the steak three times as she ordered it medium well and it was served rare and kept coming back rare. Apparently the cook or microwave wasn't up to speed this night. She ate about a third of it and that night the neighborhood fox got the rest. Didn't see how they call there crab legs " king crab legs" as I've seen bigger ones at the Food Lion. Finally, just simply wanted the heated butter burned or blackened since it adds a better taste to the seafood. The waitress was clueless and after about a 10 minute wait, returned to the table with the same oily popcorn type imitation butter, saying they tried to blacken it but could not and to be careful that it was hotter then it previously was, which was baloney.

Lobster Mac and Cheese was fire The steak Diane was avg at best there was nothing wow about an 8 oz filet. The French onion soup was amazing and a large portion! The calamari was amazing and was not overcooked The Brussel sprouts were disgusting. Mushy and soggy with no flavor and tasted like they were soaked in flavorless oil! They even threw cheese on it Best way to cook Brussel sprouts take fatty bacon and cook it in a large square pan so you catch all the bacon fat. Take the halved Brussel sprouts (halved not smashed) and prep them in another pan. Once the bacon is cooked and you have a nice pool of bacon grease while it's still hot, pour it over the Brussel sprouts and throw them in the oven after the bacon. Chop up your bacon and Toss some balsamic over it and bam best Brussel Sprouts ever! Whatever y'all served me was atrocious. I'd come back here for the lobster Mac and Cheese and not order anything else! It's that good! Being a Florida restaurant in the middle of nowhere I know it is hard to get local breweries to deliver but what better way to showcase Florida than to serve some local breweries from the Tampa region! And Devonte our waiter was top notch!

Prime 88 always exceeds our expectations for both food and service and you couple that with a wonderful ambiance and we had a great dining experience. We will return soon! KAL

Great atmosphere and a wonderful team of servers and staff. They are friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and are focused on delivering an exceptional dining experience. We came with a larger party and, considering how hard it can be to keep 20+ diners happy, they did a fantastic job on both service and food. The steak is incredibly high quality. I've heard a rumor they buy from a dedicated ranch out West. The only flaw I can point to (granted, it's a sample size of one) is that our party had pretty consistent undercook on the orders. A few folks had to send back for further cook (there's a big difference between rare and medium).

This place is amazing! If you have'nt been , make the drive. The food, staff and the owner will do every thing they can to give you the best evening they can. We went for a friends birthday and the steak was perfectly cooked through out. Hot and sizzling when it arrived. Sauced mushrooms, grilled veggies,. There were 4 of us and all of us were raving. By contrast a week earlier we visited another very well known steak house in Tampa. Well known and very expensive steakhouse. Side by side I will choose Prime 88. We have done casual on the covered patio, sat at the bar, and visited the full dining room. Always excellent! Example; I love bourbon manhattan's. For my taste most add too much sweet vermouth. So I explained this preference to our waiter. When it arrived the server said the bartender wanted to know yes or no my approval. Details and caring like this make it exceptional.

We completely enjoyed the total experience, the food and the service was excellent! I wish them a lot of success, Spring Hill finally has a high end restaurant, no other restaurants similar unless you go to Tampa.

This steakhouse is a great place if your looking to spend some money on high end beef and other cuts of premium red meat like the Elk steak I throughly enjoyed on my second visit to Prime 88 The first visit was also excellent with a perfectly medium rare cooked Chateaubriand for two...possibly the best you will find in Citrus County Service was exceptional on both occasions The atmosphere is definitely the upper end steak house vibe with open wine closets as the focal point in the melon room Check it out, you won't be disappointed

We went when they first opened and never returned. The only thing we liked was the slick decor. Many neighbors were saying good things. This time was impressive! The service, and food were worth every star. We will be going back often.

Atmosphere, service, drinks, and food were all very well done .. I prefer the bar area as the dining room has a stricter dress code..

Atmosphere is nice. Appetizers are quite good especially the whipped feta. Bread is also tasty. Asparagus was undercooked and potatoes were uninspired.and steak was ok. Desserts were not a highlight. The chocolate cake seemed iike it was from a box mix and the key lime pie also was not excellent. If you truly want to be a top tier restaurant, all items should be excellent with some creativity. Prices are not commensurate with overall quality. Servers were friendly and attentive.

Starting off with service: AMAZING. The staff is incredible and friendly. I believe it was Devonte that was our waiter. The mans deserves all the raises. He was knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and just all around an amazing human. I cannot praise this man enough. My parents were visiting from Hawaii and could not rave enough about how great his service was. The restaurant itself is so amazing. It's clean, classy and just has amazing vibes. There was a man there (I didn't get his name) but he had an electric violin and he is so talented. Props to that guy. The food was BEYOND my expectations. I was already expecting this place to have some decent steaks, but man... they took it to the next level. I had the "Big Ass Tomahawk" and I swear it was like it just melted in my mouth. There's so much to say about this place, but I think the staff just sealed the deal for it all together. Amazing AMAZING job. If anyone is looking for an epic dining experience, this is the place to go.

Warmly greeted at the door and seated promptly. We had a reservation. Henry was our server and was absolutely a gem! We started out with Fried Green Tomatoes they came out quickly and they were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection...they served warm Bread and Butter as well...ordered a Ribeye with Mushrooms and Mac & Cheese also Argentine Shrimp...the food arrived and everything was served hot and fresh and it was one of the best meals we have had out in a long time.Dessert...oh my goodness..Chocolate Ganache Cheesecake...truly incredible !!!Everything was perfect , the food and the service! We have been to many high end Steakhouses in Tampa and Orlando and all over and this meal was perfect! I cannot say one negative thing..so glad you are here to serve the locals...it is a nice comfortable atmosphere as well....

Amazing experience, the steaks were cooked perfectly, and the sides were excellent. Try the 88 Shrimp appetizer for sure. Plus our server Kevin was very friendly and we had a great rapport.

My wife and I sat at the bar and were immediately disappointed with the service. The bartender nikcole made us feel like we were a bother instead of valued customers. She showed little interest in serving us and acted as if we were interrupting her attention to others. To top it off, when I asked for an espresso martini, I was told she couldn't even make it with fresh espresso which makes no sense for a place that should take pride in their drinks. Overall, the attitude and lack of care ruined the experience for us. We won't be coming back

Had dinner there for our anniversary. They opened the door for us and when we entered and gave them our name, they wished us a happy anniversary. I had made reservations. Henry was our waiter and he was the best. He made some suggestions which we took advantage of. He was very attentive and met all of our needs. He went above and beyond. We had châteaubriand for two, a house salad, a regular martini and a chocolate martini. Both were excellent. The bread was nice and warm and very tasty. The butter was easy to spread. They brought us out a dessert for our anniversary with chocolates. My husband had coffee, which was French pressed, and he said it was absolutely the best. Everything is homemade right there. They took our picture and put it in a frame free of charge. We thought that was a nice touch. Brian Hession, the general manager, came over to our table a few times to ask us if we were pleased with everything. The staff goes out of their way to make sure that you have a very enjoyable memorable evening. Everything was exquisite and we will definitely go back and we'll bring a friend. It's nice to have fine dining in the area. You don't have to drive all the way to Tampa.

Always perfectly cooked steaks. I had chicken Marsala and it was delicious! Great pomegranate martinis too! Perfect place to celebrate anything. Staff is always attentive and knowledgeable. I love this place.

Exceeded expectations on Feb 28, 2025! We had a amazing wait staff! Food was awesome! We celebrated our belated Valentine dinner here. My husband and I split the Chateaubriand 20 steak served tableside. We had leftovers too. Awesome high quality steak! Chefs are talented here! Manager checked with all tables. Attention to details! Inside decor was tastefully done.

A rare find in this part of town. The service was amazing. The food came out on time and on point the restaurant has a beautiful setting would highly recommend this place.

This place sux. I'm doubling down on this. I recommend for folks in Hernando County, take the time to drive to an actual steak house! We have many in Tampa that are less expensive and much better. AND I MEAN BETTER! You know what really pissed me off about PRIME88? I called Prime88 ahead of of our reservation to let them know we we celebrating my daughter's 19 th birthday. We got some cheap card signed right in front of us, before we ordered. And no dessert for my daughter. F this BS Hernando BS. STAY AWAY

This place is an amazing gem for the Brooksville area for upscale dining. Yes, it is pricey, but you're paying for the food and you're paying for the service. I have never had a bad meal here and I am longing to go back My husband and I have been here many times, and we intend to make this our go to place for upscale dining. He always orders steak and it's perfectly cooked, but I am more of a seafood gal, go figure. We like to split the lettuce wedge,it is just perfect for the two of us. I am the only one who likes escargot, so I never have to share! There's always a go box so that I can enjoy their delicious food at home. Don't forget to ask for bread because they don't always bring it out automatically. They listen to their customers and if there is something they can do to accommodate your order, they will certainly do it. My sister and I shared a chicken dish and they brought it out on two separate plates, would you would expect in this type of restaurant however, we weren't counting on it. It's definitely a go to trip place, but for the price I couldn't afford to go every night, but I wish I could.

Excellent Steak House in a small Florida town. Steak was amazing! Very up market establishment, and the prices reflect the ambiance and level of service. Our waiter Keven was both professional and very entertaining. Treated our family with a superior experience. Recommend you try this very well appointed restaurant. You have to try Whipped Feta appetizer...phenomenal!

Nice upscale addition to our Spring Hill/Brooksville area! Just open a few months and it was quite a surprise. There is plenty of parking. There is a dress code of business casual in the main dining room that creates a special ambiance. Decorated upscale and trendy. Everyone was very nice. Our server was Kevin and if you are given a choice please request him. He is wonderful and makes you feel like royalty. He has a witty sense of humor. We had the New York strip and filet that melted in your mouth. Our friends shared the chicken limon that had two large chicken cutlets. We enjoyed the Brussel sprouts that had a nice flavor and our friends shared the one pound loaded baked potato. Warm bread comes with the meal and very crusty yum! Yummy chocolate martini. The prices are on the high end for the area but expected for the good quality, service and ambience.

The quality of the steaks were indeed Prime! The service was about an 8 out of 10. Our server was sweet and gracious but attention to detail wasn't there. I had to ask a different server for the lemons we never got and refills on drinks. Other than that she did a great job even tho I grilled her on the sub species of their seafood offerings (calamari, grouper,etc.) most restaurants will try to pass off Indian Grouper and Gulf Grouper but most Floridians know what Gulf Grouper looks and tastes like. I am happy to confirm Prime 88 serves Gulf Grouper. Food was slow to come out but we were a ten top so we were enjoying each other's company. The portions were awesome! They aren't cheap but they execute well with their flavors and textures and we were more than satisfied at the end of the meal. I mentioned it before but their steaks were absolutely excellent! Temperatures were right on as well as the seasoning, caramelization, and tenderness of each cut. I would choose Prime 88 above most steak houses in Tampa. They were better than expected!
