My parents and I had such a wonderful and pleasant experience here at Prime. Our server Bist was the best!!! He was so welcoming and made us feel special. Best waiter i have ever had. The staff were all kind and sweet. The food was amazing, steaks cooked perfectly. Also, the scenery inside as well as the water view are beautiful. Our experience here was so amazing we plan on coming back for many birthdays!!! Keep up the excellent service!

The restaurant is very elegant, good service, the waiter is very attentive and friendly, the food is good but it did not meet my expectations. I expected something better, better presentation. I have been to other restaurants that are not as elegant as this one and the food is tasty and the presentation of the food plate perfect and super attention. The view from the restaurant is very nice but the food was not what I expected. the price high for what we ordered My boyfriend said the same thing. I give it a 5 out of 10

A Flawless Evening at PRIME Catering Rooms Having frequented PRIME numerous times, I felt it was long overdue to highlight their incredible catering rooms, which deserve as much praise as their renowned dining experience. I recently attended a financial dinner hosted in one of their private event spaces, and I can confidently say the evening was nothing short of spectacular. The ambiance was refined yet welcoming, creating the perfect setting for a formal yet comfortable gathering. The staff executed everything with seamless professionalism, ensuring that every guest felt attended to without being intrusive. The food, as always, was exceptional. Each dish arrived hot, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavors that demonstrated the chef’s masterful touch. From the appetizers to the main course and dessert, every bite felt like an indulgence. While PRIME excels at hosting grand events, it still holds its charm for intimate evenings. I’ll undoubtedly return soon, perhaps for a cozy dinner for two. PRIME truly knows how to impress, no matter the occasion.

My best friend and I went for saturday lunch. The views overlooking the water was very nice. For drinks we got the pookie passion mocktail and sangria and it was delicious. For apps we got the shrimp and lobster wonton which was very flavorful the sauce was nicely paired on top. We also got the gnocchi and 10/10 delicious. For our main entrees we got the hanger steak and filet mignon with creamed spinach and fries for sides. Overall very good food, my only down side for the place is for the price you pay you would expect the silverware and glasses to be a little bit more refreshed but they didn’t reflect the vibe of the place. Overall enjoyed my time hope to come back.

Google
I’ll start by saying this is an amazing restaurant with delicious food, incredible views, friendly and attentive staff, and a rambunctious and bustling atmosphere right on the harbor. So, If you have a few extra hundred dollars laying around and you’re looking for a place to have that quickly disappear, I have a perfect place for you to visit. The waiter was expertly trained to upsell in nearly every situation, from doubling appetizer suggestions to adding toppings and sauces (or "Enhancements" as they call them) and sides for our party of 9 to share. Wines are marked up almost exactly 2X, which is to be expected in Manhattan and I suppose also in places envisioning themselves to be Manhattan (Vivino had our wine listed at $63 retail and the menu price was $125). Shrimp Cocktail definitely delivered on the colossal shrimp and was beautifully presented. As we ordered two (apparently, even though a couple folks in our party didn't eat shellfish so I'm pretty sure we only ordered one) it came out in a nice tray of ice with two teeny Tabasco bottles, some lemon and lime wedges (low on lemons today?) and some punchy cocktail sauce. Not punchy enough for me since I would have just eaten the horseradish straight, but good for the layperson methinks. We also ordered a special meatball appetizer which wasn't fantastic - just not enough sauce nor flavor for me. A few folks got sushi rolls which looked like sushi rolls - nothing special there. On this evening as we watched the sun go down through the huge front windows I didn't feel in the mood for cow for some reason so I went with the salmon. Let me tell you - it definitely did not disappoint. Delectably crispy skin with a nice mix of seasonal veggies including what I believe were fried fennel slices which paired excellently with the fish. Folks who did go the cow route were not disappointed with expertly cooked steaks of ample size and a nice array of Enhancements. The couple at the table next to us ordered his and hers filet mignon wellington which looked awesome. Gotta try that next time. Overall, I must admit, I did have some cow envy, but I made up for it by crushing the sides which really were the standouts of the entire experience. We shared the creamed corn special (best dish of the night - amazingly creamy and packed with flavor), the mushrooms (sinfully buttery and delectable with just the right hint of thyme), brussels sprouts (nicely fried and topped with cheese and microgreens but needed more sauce / salt for me at least), and delicious whipped potatoes. Unfortunately going to need to swim back home to work this meal off. This is definitely the place to be to rub elbows with the who’s who - and if that’s your scene definitely hop in your yacht and get over here at 30 knots. I'm sure they'll have a dirty martini waiting for you.

Google
The food was absolutely delicious and our waiter was so good! He explained the menu and offered suggestions for portion sizes for our group. I had the tuna and it did not disappoint! We had sushi to start and brussel sprouts and mac and cheese to split for the table. Everything was so good! The atmosphere is very nice. We sat in the formal dining room and took pictures outside after dinner with a nice sunset over the harbor. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Wow! What an amazing experience I had! I came here for a work lunch and had a great time! I had made reservations prior to our visit just to be sure our party had seating. The moment we walked in the service was top notch. The waitperson was excellent and told us the specials and answered all our questions. I definitely recommend and hope to be back soon!

Google
My husband and I had the most AMAZING experience here! My husband got the Beef Wellington and I got the petite Filet Mignon and the food was out of this world. Best meal we've had in a long time. The service was hands down one of the best we've seen! The bartender Patrice made our night especially memorable. His upbeat personality was contagious and made for an ever better meal. We live 3 hours away and would still definitely return!

Yelp
We decided to lunch here for our 27th Anniversary. The drive from Carle Place was about 25 minutes and scenic. We were seated right away and wished well. The service was fantastic and friendly from the get go and we decided to order the sushi apps, which sadly I did not take any pics of but were presented beautifully and together. I ordered a yuzu spicy tuna roll and my better half ordered an assortment of sushi. Both were delicious. The seasonal drinks we ordered were also very good. He had been wanting a Beef Wellington for quite a while and decided to order that, it was perfectly cooked and served on a bed of mash with a delicious sauce. He also ordered the crispy Brussel sprouts which if I'm being honest were delicious but not crispy. I opted for the lunch special with supplement. The lobster roll, it was quite huge and barely made a dent so this was wrapped for me to take home. It was served with a Caesar salad and fries. Our desserts were fantastic as well. A salted caramel affogato and a raspberry cream pie from Briemiere Farm, something I've been wanting to try for a while but not keen on driving so far out to Riverhead for. Both desserts were incredibly delicious, served with a chocolate tag with Happy Anniversary. The views were definitely a major plus here and made the lunch extra special. While it's definitely on the pricier side, we look forward to our return.

Yelp
I recently visited Prime in Huntington for a birthday celebration, and it was nothing short of spectacular. We dined outdoors, with breathtaking views of the dock and boats that added a magical ambiance to the evening. The food was phenomenal--everything was cooked to absolute perfection. We indulged in the ribeye entree, shrimp and lobster wontons, mac and cheese, and sea bass, and each dish was bursting with flavor and expertly crafted. Prime shares ownership with Tellers, another favorite of mine, and it absolutely lives up to that same high standard. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but every bite and every moment was worth it. The attentive and professional staff elevated the experience even more. It was truly a flawless evening, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal!

Michelle D.

Yelp
This place definitely lives up to the hype, the food is delicious. I especially love their crab cake and the shrimp/lobster wontons but just about everything on the menu is good. The last time I went for dinner, the waiter suggested we get the raspberry and cream pie and it was absolutely incredible. I have dreams about that slice of pie.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my girlfriend and my bday. We sat outside and the weather was alright. A little muggy / breezy and it rained a bit as well. Def recommend to sit indoors for lunch during the summer and outdoors for dinner. All in all it was a nice romantic vibe. For apps we got the special of the day - seafood tower.. don't recall the exact name. It consisted of crabmeat salad, lobster salad, some home made chips, sides of egg whites, egg yolks, caviar and half a bottle of champagne. Delish! 10/10 Also ordered app of crabcakes - 10/10 My Tellers Ribeye was cooked to perfection. 40oz of juicy meat. It was huge. Needless to say I doggy bagged that. Service was very professional. Our waiter made sure our glasses were never empty and we had what we needed. The manager even came by to check on us and at the end of our lunch he came by to give my friend and I each a birthday gift card. I shall be back. Till then toodles!

Yelp
This place is top rated for all the right reasons. The ambiance is beautiful and spacious, leaving enough room to have tables just the right distance apart to have private conversations. Our server was pleasant and gave a few suggestions on menu items to try. For appetizers we had the wedge salad and lamb meatballs. The wedge salad was good but had a little too much dressing for my liking. A little less goes a longer way. The lamb meatballs were fantastic. Perfectly crispy on the outside and a nice mixture of lamb, ricotta and other ingredients inside. I would recommend this. I saw a few other appetizer items that I wanted to try but wanted to leave room for my main course. For entree I had the striped bass. My spouse had the Delmonico steak. The fish was cooked well, had a nice crispy skin and flaky inside. We shared the Brussel sprouts to accompany our entree and neither of us loved it. It was slightly too charred for me, tasting more burnt than I'd like. It could've done with a tad less chili sauce. It needed more of a drizzle and less of a soaking. Overall though, the food and drinks were good. The general manager was very kind and gave us a gift card to return for a drink, as it was my husband's birthday. Little things like this matter to me: great service, considerate staff, good food, beautiful ambiance. It all makes the experience more worthwhile. I look forward to dining at Prime again.

Yelp
Prime Steak House on the Northern most part of Rte.110 has what it takes to make your dining experience a memorable one. Don't go if you are not prepared to pay for that Prime dining experience. From sushi to steaks and salads to desserts they do it right. The decor of the restaurant inside has an elegant design and outdoor dining has wonderful water views. Service was excellent and parking was not a problem. Ciao for Now.

Yelp
Fantastic location & scenery, upscale ambiance, Great service, tasty and satisfying food and a welcoming staff. There is also a lunch special that is a great deal. This restaurant checks all the boxes, great for family events, romantic dinners or the occasional business luncheon. Can't go wrong.

Yelp
Wonderful dinner at Prime on Christmas Eve. The apps and entrees are always a nice selection. Nice bottle of red wine. The staff and servers are friendly and accommodating

Yelp
I have wanted to go to Prime for years and finally went last night with family. The food was so delicious. The wait staff was patient & fun. The views were stunning. Everything we had was on point. I would highly recommend Prime for anyone living on Long Island. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Amazing amazing experience. My fiancé Took me to this spot on our way back from east Hampton . Gabriella was an amazing server. The food was delicious . We ordered row sushi , Mac and cheese and steak . So delicious . The view was amazing . We sat by the water and ordered this specialty drink called bees and babes -- sooo good !!! This will be One of my top fave restaurants

Michael Henry J.

Yelp
The food was great but the smell was shit and moth balls. Also the waiter took 10 minutes to tell use the specials plus the wait for the check was very long.

Yelp
Location, location, location... it's a thing for restaurants to and Prime has it! Located right on the water, with views from just about all of the tables. There is heated patio seating, and tables right on the water when it's warm enough. The staff was super friendly from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. Joe even waited for me outside of the bathrooms to escort me to my party who had moved outside to the fire pit on the patio. I was incredibly impressed by the seafood selections at Prime. Everything tasted so clean and fresh. From raw shrimp and blue crab to the perfectly cooked medium rare petite fillet. Pro tip: get the sesame loaf! It's WELL worth the money. The texture and fluffiness of this bread and the butter it comes with is beyond delicious! I can see why Prime is a favorite of our family that lives in Huntington..

Emily C.

Yelp
4.5 Stars TLDR; amazing atmosphere and vibes (especially with their outdoor seating at sunset!!), food itself was pretty good but the steaks weren't spectacular, just average if anything. My friends and I came for my birthday dinner on a Saturday night and thankfully I made a reservation cause it was packed! There's a parking lot in front but also more space across the street. The restaurant itself is huge with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Even with the outdoor seating, there's a portion that's still covered by an awning. We were seated outdoors and I was initially wary cause it was a bit hot but by the time dinner ended, the temperature outside was perfect and we got to see a beautiful sunset while we dined. I was originally intrigued by the restaurant because of its location by the water and the views did not disappoint. As for the food, the waiter asked if we wanted some bread to start, which we had all assumed was complimentary bread but it turned out to be the sesame potato bread from the menu. It came with truffle butter and was warm and delicious but wish it was made clear that we were to pay for it, not that it was a big deal since it was only $5 a loaf. It was also so incredibly fluffy and soft, and the butter spreads on so nicely that I'd still recommend getting it! We ordered several items to share for both appetizers and entrees so going to share my opinions below: Appetizers: - Soft shell crab: such a small piece but it was fried well and had a bit of chili oil around it that added a nice spice. - Crab cocktail: big chunky pieces of crab, light and refreshing. - Tagliatelle: it was advertised as cacio e pepe with truffle. I think we were all shocked that it had corn in it cause I've never had corn in my pastas but it was alright. Portion wasn't big and it had a decent amount of truffle shavings. Flavor didn't really stand out. - Crab cake: good chunks of crabmeat and the top and bottom were seared really well. Probably my favorite appetizer of them all. - We also got the shrimp tornado roll and triple spicy roll. Both were pretty good, not amazing sushi but also not terrible for an American restaurant. Entrees: - Porterhouse for 2: big chunky meats, decently tender but not melt in the mouth. Needed a sprinkle of salt or something, not much flavor to it. - Tellers Ribeye: Also big chunky meats, definitely has more fat as expected. Also not much flavor and not as tender as I expected ribeye to be. This was also supposed to be cooked medium (which yes, people don't usually ask for medium, I know) and it was definitely medium rare. - Wellington: a smaller cut of filet mignon but it was pretty good. It had a bit more flavor considering there were other factors that go into it. I thought beef wellingtons were supposed to have prosciutto? But I guess not all places make it with that. Sides: - Crispy brussels sprouts: I saw lots of pictures of this on Yelp so I had to try it and it was delicious! Loved the sweet chili glaze and the salty parmesan. - Roasted mushrooms: I typically love mushrooms and I wish I liked this more. It was just way too salty. - Creamed spinach: another must order side if it's on the menu for me. It was pretty good here, definitely creamy but also not special. - Mac and cheese: definitely cheesy and loved the cheese crust on top. They also gave a complimentary slice of chocolate cake and that was amazing. Chocolate cakes are my favorite and this was one of the best I've had! It was so rich and decadent, maybe a little too much for some but perfect for my sweet tooth. Wish I had the stomach space to finish it! Overall, I'd definitely recommend Prime for a special occasion. The ambience is so nice and the views are amazing. The service was also great and they gave me a $25 gift card to return. Although their prices are pretty high so that $25 won't cover much haha. The food is pretty good, some items can be touched up a bit. And make sure to end the night with some chocolate cake!

Yelp
Had an early dinner Saturday..perfect weather for outside dining with a view. Our 1st time there & our friendly server Melanie gave a glowing description of all the specials. We had the sesame potato bread loaf which was $5 & honestly they should have just served it on the table. Yummy!! I had the soft shell crab(small 3oz) which was stunning & delicious with the perfect crunch. I also had according to Melanie "fall off the bone ribs" this consisted of 2 racks over shredded slaw & fries. The ribs were not evenly heated & as a cook that shouldn't have been the case. (unless they were reheated which I feel they were) My husband had the 16 oz rib eye which he said was AMAZING. Another diner had sushi & another the veal chop just grilled..which was a little fatty.the accompanying sides were creamed spinach & a most delicious creamed corn seasoned to perfection with bacon & the right amount of heat. 2 of us shared an Afogato sundae which didn't disappoint. A great night with friends & delicious food..pricey ($34 for that small crab app) but delicious as for pricing you know that going into Prime. Definitely worth a special visit!!

Yelp
The food was so fresh and made to order! Everything was absolutely delicious! My husband and I ordered the shrimp cocktail, lobster shrimp wontons, roasted chicken, and lobster. 10/10 highly recommend. Our favorites were the lobster and shrimp wontons and the Brussel sprouts! You must try both. I don't eat pork and the chef was very accommodating. I definitely appreciated that! We sat by the fireplace near a window overlooking the balcony and water which was really nice. And to top it off, our waitress Steph was amazing. She gave us suggestions (her recommendations were on point) she was super sweet, personable, and very accommodating. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Expensive but good. Polite and efficient. Steaks excellent but hardly adventurous cooking

Amanda M.

Yelp
This is an awesome steakhouse with a great summer ambiance! We accidentally booked outdoor dining not realizing that outdoor dining just has small umbrellas or no coverage at all. The covered patio is considered part of their standard seating. Luckily they were able to accommodate us because we came for an early dinner but something to keep in mind. We liked having more shade and the fans. The outdoor space is so pretty next to the boats and water, and they have an outdoor bar and bathroom so you can just stay outside soaking up summer. The food and service were excellent! Our waiter was helpful and friendly. The gnocchi were great, well seasoned, full of Parmesan, and crispy. The filet was excellent. And the crispy Brussel sprouts were very well seasoned and a nice portion though slightly rich. My virgin cocktail was also very good with I believe pineapple juice, cucumber, and some other ingredients I don't remember. Pricey in general, but really good. Overall great experience! Would definitely come again.

Yelp
Came here for a 70tj birthday party and we were well taken care of! Amazing spicy margarita cocktails and delicious steak and seafood. We ordered two seafood towers which felt like a total treat. Fantastic views on the waterfront for family photos after a great meal. Put this one on your list if you're looking to celebrate a special occasion. ALSO, don't sleep on the bread! It is so so good.

Andrea N.

Yelp
We came here for the first time to treat my parents who were visiting to a beautiful waterfront brunch. The atmosphere is gorgeous- the water view is what we came for, but definitely expected more from the food. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly. Multiple different waitstaff came to refill waters, etc. we did have an incidence where someone came and removed all of our silverware and said we'd get new ones, but our meal came and we didn't have anything to eat it with until someone came by for us to ask for silverware. We ordered the wedge salad which was packed with blue cheese and was very fresh! Also the crab cake was pure crab and very tender! For my meal, I had the crab scramble. I feel it lacked flavor, to be honest, and that was the theme for most of us who ordered an egg dish. My mom ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes which looked nice and had good flavor. Honestly the best main course was my toddler's side of French fries . Also to note, they do not have high chairs, which I knew beforehand, but since we rarely take out 2.5yr old out, I was a little worried about how they would be with our small child (and how SHE would act), but everything went very smoothly for all of us, thank god! I would go back for a dinner course and maybe brunch just isn't that great.

Arianne R.

Yelp
Ambiance was nice and view was pretty. It didn't feel overly stuffy but definitely a place you'd dress up nicely to. Food was really yummy and well seasoned. I'd pass on the potatoes next time I'd go but the brussel sprouts were excellent and a little spicy. Wellington was so good, too. Just remember if you order a Wellington it always comes medium rareish and can't be done well done. Service was so great and our waitress seemed helpful, down to earth and warm. However the people sitting by us were very inconsiderate and loud. They moved the curtains and almost spilled my drink. It's not a reflection of the restaurant but it was evident we were bothered and nothing was done.

Neelema S.

Yelp
Had a great time here at one of the classic waterfront dining spots in huntington. We were having a girls day and decided to come here for lunch. Our server quickly got us the most amazing cocktails - jalapeño margarita, watermelon peach sangria and rose wine and explained the specials of the day! All of which were tasty, full of flavor and different. Food here is superb. Ambiance - waterfront with yachts driving by - cool. Service - on point. Overall- I can't wait to go back.

Katie A.

Yelp
I've dined here twice when in town for work and both times the meals were excellent! It's a spacious restaurant on the water; you can't beat the views, especially when seated outside. Both times I dined here, the service was professional and prompt. Prime has a pretty extensive menu with a wide range of seafood dishes. You can't go wrong with the oysters or the Montauk tuna (which comes with the best wasabi mashed potatoes). Definitely make a reservation, it gets pretty busy - even on week nights!

Jason B.

Yelp
Last night we had the most delicious dinner at Prime in Huntington, NY! The ambience was incredible as it is located right on the harbor overlooking the island. We started with the shrimp tornado roll, shrimp cocktail, and the caramelized fig salad, all delicious. The raw bar alone is worth going to this restaurant, so so delicious. Then we had the Caesar salad and the wedge, one of the best wedge salads ever, the blue cheese dressing is whipped to perfection and topped with bacon and sun-dried tomatoes. Then, the greatest dish known to man, Beef Wellington! Prepare unlike any place I've ever dined, so good and worth every penny. If you're looking for exceptional food and service, Prime is for you! Bon Appetite!

Mariah B.

Yelp
Another five star experience at Prime! Dined here for a birthday. We brought in a cake and after three people inspecting it (in case it already arrived smudged and they don't want to be the blame), we were escorted to a brightly lit and nicely decorated room. We didn't order appetizers and went straight into ordering our entrees. Between the porterhouses, filets, lobster Mac and cheeses and more, everyone had nothing but great things to say about their meal. I did wish my porterhouse arrived sizzling, but it was very flavorful, nonetheless. We sang happy birthday, enjoyed our cake and left with smiles on our faces. Thanks, Prime!

Bryan G.

Yelp
Prime is a very popular restaurant but for good reason. It's probably the prettiest restaurant in Long Island situated right on Huntington Bay overlooking the water. Not only does Prime have beautiful outdoor seating, the interior is just as nice. The service at Prime is always top notch along with the food. The standout items for me are: the red roof roll (all of their sushi is insanely fresh and delicious), the bread with truffle butter (it's some of the best bread and butter you'll have), the truffle gnocchi, and the beef Wellington (super unique and hard to find at many restaurants). Prime is expensive so save coming here for special occasions. A recommendation for Prime: BRING BACK MARGARITA HAPPY HOUR AND OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHTS IN THE SUMMER PLEASE!

Kiera D.

Yelp
Definitely a scene. Absolutely beautiful view and the restaurant itself is always gorgeous. The drinks are very well made. We got the oysters, prosciutto and figs, Brussels sprouts, beef Wellington, and the sushi. The sushi was highly underwhelming for the price (which I've heard before) but everything else was great. Service was good. They gave me a small giftcard because it was my birthday too!! Perfect place for a drink and an app.

Iryna T.

Yelp
Yesterday I visited that amazing place to celebrate birthday. Prime is a popular dining destination known for its distinctive American cuisine and vibrant bar scene. Located in Huntington and surrounded by water. Prime offers a diverse menu that celebrates local ingredients and flavors, ensuring a memorable dining experience for patrons. Whether you're craving a perfectly cooked steak, innovative seafood dishes, or flavorful vegetarian options, Prime promises to satisfy every palate. The ambiance is upscale yet inviting, making it ideal for both casual outings and special occasions. With a focus on quality and hospitality, Prime: An American Kitchen & Bar stands out as a must-visit for food enthusiasts in NY.

Denise G.

Yelp
The view is gorgeous and the service is terrific. We sat under the covered porch on a fabulous evening. We shared the shrimp and lobster wontons, they were delicious. I had a spaghetti special with mushrooms and my husband had the NY strip steak. He was very disappointed in the steak- it was very tough and cooked medium. For the price, it should have been very tender, but he ate it anyway because he was starving and we had to get back for the babysitter. I do not think we'd be back anytime soon.

Hollywood V.

Yelp
The steaks are cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is upscale yet inviting, and the service is top-notch. A perfect spot for a special night out!

Yelp
I am a regular customer to this restaurant (weekly) and usually have a nice time. I did not want to finish my drink and asked to take it home because the second drink I could feel was a bit too much for me to drive. The drinks are at least 17-20.00 dollars and with NYS law I know I can have the drink put in a closed container to take home which Prime encourages with signs as you walk into their restaurant . As you walk into the restaurant there is a huge sign that says "Lets Go, cocktails to go are back! (Cocktails to go must be ordered with food as per NYS required) When I asked for my drink to go after ordering a beef Wellington and creamed spinach the manager said that they follow NYS law and I can not bring my drink home.( Remember the sign on the entry of the restaurant ) He did say that I could purchase an entire container of alcohol of the drink and then take it home. I did not want to buy a entire container which had 4 drinks at a expensive price, just wanted to take my drink home but he (little guy with weird hair "the manager" ) said I could not do it. They obviously do not take care of their long term clients, but will dazzle for the one off. Horrible Manager with no Management skills and the bar tenders were totally at a shock for his behavior, but what could they say. Just think about it, when it works for them, great, when you don't follow the mood of the current manager you can have a horrible experience. I know they don't seem to care about losing a regular customer, is that the kind of restaurant you want to go to? It's time to stand up for our rights? It starts even at your local restaurant and I will not allow for my rights to violated!

Constantin A.

Yelp
We are normally prime fans. I come here with family and friends monthly, and have done so for several years. Today's experience, however, was not good. The waiter failed to bring appetizers together so we received them in multiple doses. The main course took two hours to come out. The staff failed to bring drink orders out or fill water glasses throughout the evening. Even after diner we ended up asking multiple waiters to get our bill because our waiter failed to be around. The whole dinner took three hours, and was very disappointing. The restaurant itself also had several issues; the female restrooms had no toilet paper, and one of our guest had somwone push the bathroom door open while they were in it. after paying the bill, I spoke to the manager and expressed my disappointment and what prompted me to write this review was the apathy I received from the manager about the poor service. As an observation maybe the issue is it was Tuesday, or we came in with a larger party, possibly the "A" staff does not come out till the weekends, but for a bill north of $1,000, i wanted and expected more. As I said at the begining of this review we are Prime Fans, so I will chalk this up to a fluke experience. However, I do hope the owners and manager read this review and use it as a learning experience.

Yelp
This place sucks so much I puked when I found a long black hair. Then when I got home I had diarrhea and extremely sick for a week if you want to lose 7 pounds in a week go eat there happy birthday to me.never again ever. They need to be inspected. Glad he didn't eat there. I give them a minus 000

Yelp
What a view!? Let me say that again: what a view!? Service impeccable... and Babylon express and caramelized figs put a twist to the evening;)

Yelp
I love this restaurant. Reservations in advance is a must. There was live music on a sunday. I wish the music also played outside. Unfortunately, it was just inside. They should add speakers in the back. Food is pricey. But I mean... we live in NY right? Lol Wish they didnt charge for bread. Other than that, the service is always amazing. The vibes are great. Boats dock and the ppl go straight to eat. Make sure when making your reservation you specify where exactly you want to sit. Outside or inside. Love it here ! Yelp
Took my girlfriend for a wonderful birthday dinner at Prime. Everything was perfect from the view to the service. Our server Lexi was attentive and friendly and read us the specials and helped us pick which drinks to get. We ended up getting the burrata and sourdough for an appetizer and the fresh sushi for dinner. We also got a beautiful raspberry cheesecake with a candle and chocolate happy birthday garnish for dessert. Overall, the ambiance, atmosphere, and experience were all delicious. LGBTQIA+ friendly for sure. Thank you prime and thank you to our waitress Lexi. We will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Dine in an elegant, relaxing atmosphere. Prime serves comfort foods prepared to perfection, and the service top notch. Looking for something on the lighter side, try their salad with grilled shrimp. Absolutely delicious!

Yelp
I had a pretty bad experience here this past weekend. After being sat in direct sunlight and not being told all the specials, plus being told to order entrees with appetizers when we were indecisive, it just all added up to a less than stellar experience with a hefty cost at the end. Thankfully, the owners are receptive to feedback and can admit when things don't go according to their standards and I can appreciate that. I look forward to giving them another chance and hope this was just a one-off situation. It's a beautiful place, especially sitting outdoors, and I'd hate to not be able to return here to enjoy it.

Yelp
Came here for restaurant week, (yes I know I'm behind on my reviews). The ambiance is lovely, the restaurant is huge and beautiful. They have multiple parking lots which was great. We were seated in a really nice room and service was good. For appetizer we had the sushi roll, and truffle gnocchi- both great. I thought it was weird they wouldn't give us a bread basket because we were getting a meal off the restaurant week menu. I mean it's just bread.... We each also had the skirt steak- I enjoyed mine but the sauce was a little different (sweeter) and prob would ask for it on the side next time. Dessert was really unique and standout. We had the bread pudding with ice cream, and then an ice cream sundae that had popcorn on top. Both were delightful. I will definitely come back to try other options!

Yelp
Dinner at Prime means going all out with food - and that's what we did! But first, let me just say the view from the window is beautiful! We started off with drinks which had a great ratio, not too strong and not too watered down. I had to get the caesar salad after seeing a few others around us get it, and MAN no regrets! Something about a crisp and refreshing Caesar hits so uniquely; my boyfriend really enjoyed the sushi roll we got as well. Not pictured were the beef Wellington and filet mignon which we got with the side of Mac and cheese. Now I know what you're thinking - sounds like a lot of food for two people. But it was soooo worth it because the leftovers tasted EVEN better the next day, and that's saying something! Our waiter was very patient with us as we were a bit indecisive since everything sounded so good, but overall quite a culinary experience!

Yelp
The place & service is amazing, but the food was not. The cheese platter had 3 cheese selections & only one was delicious. The other 2 were tasteless pieces of rubber. My lobster roll was chewy & dry & my husband's steak salad was tasty but tough. The two salads were the best part of the lunch, except for stone-hard pieces of bacon in the wedge salad. The caesar salad was good. They gave us a card & a little box of chocolates for our anniversary & took pictures of us around the place, which was lovely, but doubtful we'll ever go back. It's crossed off our bucket list!

Yelp
Food was amazing. Our server helped us with the best food and we were so happy with our dining. The view of the water and the boats made the ambiance even better. Definitely will be visiting them again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Yelp
My husband brought me here for my birthday and we were super impressed with the whole experience. Food and service were top tier. They treated us so well for my birthday dinner too and even gave us a gift card for a future visit! Definitely coming back again and would recommend to others celebrating their special occasion!

Yelp
It's strange that I'm such a foodie and live in Huntington (right across the harbor from this place) and had never been to Prime before. My family were looking to do something different/special this Christmas Eve and I decided it was a good time to try Prime, and what a great decision. The dinner was magnificent and really elevated our holiday. The service was impeccable, it was decorated warmly, and we hit the bar while our table was being set up. My Manhattan was superb as was my son's Moscow Mule and the Revival cocktails (acai gin, blueberry syrup, lemon juice and ginger beer) my wife and daughter happily sipped. For appetizers, we shared a plate of fresh Bluepoint oysters and the Red Roof sushi roll (which was a big hit and just as good as previous reviewers noted). My wife tried the seasonal short rib pasta special and devoured it so quickly I never got a taste. Me and the kids went for the classic Beef Wellington and I savored every luscious bite. The NY cheesecake with berry compote and fennel pollen was a perfect end to a memorable meal.

Yelp
Had a great time at a friends bday (table of 11). Great service, although expect the dinner to be 3 hours on a Saturday night because of how busy they are. Drinks were perfection and the tomahawk steak was truly delicious. Will definitely be returning to their outdoors space

Yelp
First time back since the middle of COVID and everything went well. I called on Thursday and was able to get a 5 pm reservation for a party of 3 for Father's Day which was a huge surprise. Open Table had them booked thoroughly until 8:45 pm. You can't ask for a more perfect setting on the water and when the weather cooperates your dining experience cannot get any better. You can come here by boat if you have one and they have a dock with a dock master to tend to your boat. Please read my previous review as they do have the perfect combination of location, customer service, training, decor, ambiance, staffing, great food, and reputation. Almost everything was on point and the one hiccup we had was properly taken care of by the manager Austin. It's great to see when a restaurant steps up when a potential issues pops up. We started with a few "primers" which were the sesame-potato bread which is accompanied by black truffle butter, and sea salt. We also had the shrimp and lobster wontons, Montauk roll and California King roll. Without question it's all top quality, filling and fresh. For the main courses we had the Everything crusted tuna x with wasabi mash potatoes and subbed the asparagus for creamed spinach. We also had the Wellington which is a very popular dish. It's filet mignon in a puff pastry. I'm addition the salmon which was great with couscous. We added sides that are must haves.. the mac n cheese and the grilled Brussel sprouts. For desert we shared the raspberry cheesecake which was super light, filling and can be shared. This time we did not order the chocolate cake although it can serve 3 and is out of this world. They have so many great dishes, wines, etc, lobster rolls, full raw bar, Tomahawk steaks, rib eye, filet mignon, strip steaks, fish dishes and sides. The bathrooms are private and someone is always around to make sure they are clean and stocked with the toiletries. I highly recommend them and will be beck even though it was a 2 hour ride that day.

Yelp
Staff was good. view was outstanding my veal chop came grossly undercooked and it took 20 minutes to bring a cooked one. both salmon dishes were burned on top.
