Just returned from a long weekend at Primrose House. Absolutely loved it. The room was spacious with a fab view over the beach and a little balcony. Room was warm despite the cold. Bathroom was big with a fantastic shower over the bath and Plenty of hot water. You help yourself to tea, coffee and milk from the shelf on the way up the stairs. Kettle and cups in the room. Staff were great. Really friendly and helpful yet relaxed. Breakfast was home cooked with tasty produce, enough choice too. The hotel is right on the coastal path heading east out of town which is a beautiful walk. Also 10 minutes walk into the centre of St Ives and 1 minute from the train line to St Erth. What's not to like?!! We will be back!

We booked a last minute night here and I am so glad we did! We received a lovely warm welcome, a beach practically on the door step and a less than 5 minute walk into St Ives. We asked for recommendations for dinner and chose to eat at Talay Thai (my goodness it was good!). ||We stayed in Room 4 which totally exceeded our expectations. We had a lounge area, a ginormous bathroom with a roll top bath and separate shower and a decent sized bedroom with a comfortable bed. Finishing off our stay with a wonderful breakfast and great coffee! ||To sum up; great location, lovely staff, beautiful decor, fabulous food and coffee. What more could you need! We would 100% return to Primrose House!

Fabulous stay at Primrose House. The hotel was easy to find after arriving by train with the station just minutes away. Hotel rooms and decor were very stylish, with facilities and rooms spotlessly clean. Very friendly and warm welcome from everyone at the hotel and a relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay. Delicious range of breakfast options included as part of the room charge. Beautiful beaches and the best of St Ives cultural and food scene just minutes away. Would highly recommend!

Really pleasant vibe as soon as you enter this hotel, really relaxed. Easy parking and check in, room nicely decorated and excellent waterfall shower.||Very nice breakfast with what seemed to be good quality produce and the Cornish brown sauce was delicious.||Would highly recomend.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights during a recent trip around Cornwall. We were greeted by the most pleasant and helpful host who checked us in early with our room being ready and suggested the best places to eat in an evening as the hotel only accommodates breakfast. The hotel could be tricky to find, but there's a video on their website showing the exact directions as you have to access down a narrow road. Free parking is available at this hotel, which is a rarity in places like St Ives. We managed to park up as soon as we arrived and had no issues during our stay. The hotel and room were very clean with all of the usual amenities provided. The breakfast was cooked to order each morning and was of good quality with the orders being taken buy the lovely host. The hotel itself is situated about a 10min walk from St. Ives harbour and restaurants. The walk is fairly flat as well which is a bonus if you've been out for an evening meal. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St Ives, and we would look to stay here again ourselves to the next time we are down that way.

It's not the easiest place to find, but follow the directions given on the website, and you won't get lost. Very friendly, helpful owner. The breakfast was perfect and cooked to order. The room had everything we needed. Lovely comfy bed and plenty of large towels in the bathroom.
