The Prince’s Palace tour was a beautiful, compact journey through Monaco’s royal history. The interior rooms, though limited in number, are richly decorated with Renaissance frescoes, tapestries, chandeliers, and marble flooring. The audio guide (included in the ticket) was surprisingly well done—clear, informative, and available in multiple languages.
One of the highlights was the Changing of the Guard at 11:55 AM. It’s a must-see and adds a bit of pomp and tradition to the visit. Be sure to arrive at least 15–20 minutes early to get a good viewing spot.
The palace grounds also offer stunning panoramic views over the harbor and city—perfect for photos. While it’s not as large or extravagant as some European palaces, its charm lies in its detail and setting.
