3 Best Day Trips from Sydney | Condé Nast Traveler

"One of the trails located in Blue Mountains National Park, Prince Henry Cliff Walk offers dreamy views of valleys, waterfalls, and rock formations, including the Three Sisters. Marked with over 20 staggering lookout points and alive with birds and wildflowers, the walk makes for an inspiring introduction to this wildly beautiful region. (And if you're not into exercise or fresh air, there's always high tea in one of the town’s fancy hotels)." - Sophie Davies

Excellent walk. Interesting and reasonably demanding. Excellent work done on upgrading the Gordon Falls end.

The walkway is well maintained and offers multiple stunning lookouts across the valley. As with any bushwalk, be prepared to carry your rubbish out with you - there are no bins along the trail.

Great track with many lookouts. The nature is awesome! Some parts are very challenging with lots of stairs when descending down to the vague, but it’s definitely worth it. Bring enough water The track runs through the scenic world, around the lower railway station (base station). There’s a fence around the scenic world walkway with a large metal door saying “No way through” but it’s still open. Just walk through to get out of the tourist trap 😜

This walk is night lit now. It’s 1.3km in distance and have access to beautiful night-time viewing experience of outstanding natural features such as Orphan Rock, Witches Leap, Katoomba Falls, Katoomba Cascades, three sisters and Duke and Duchess lookout. The sound of water fall in the background adds to an amazingly soothing experience. I’ll rate it as moderate on difficulty level as it has steps. Please be aware that flood lights are turned off at 10.30pm and path lights at 11pm.

We started on the eastern side of the trail. It’s more difficult to take photos of the cliffs there. But as soon as you get close to Three Sisters, the possibilities to get good photos increase a lot. The trail surface is well done, some even paved.

A great walk. Fairly easy really with only a few very short sections where you will be expected to scale more than 10 steps in one place. The small effort is worth it, with rewards of great views of the cliff edge at pretty much every point. The walk normally goes right round to Leura but there have been landslides recently so there are a few sections closed off. You can bypass them though by walking down Cliff Drive.

Came during winter in the evening on our first visit. Easy to walk trail. Quiet and quite cold

We love this walk, such a great scenery. We stopped in a cave like rock formation which was great. We started walking from here and continued walking after echo point. Its good for beginners. Anyone can do this hike. Water re-filler is available at Echo point.

Yelp
Scenery & plenty of exercise in a pretty compact space. We hiked about 1.5 km of this 20 km trail, walking the tail end near Scenic World attraction. Spectacular lookouts of the Blue Mountain area including a waterfall. The hike is a fairly moderate exercise with lots of stairs, both up and down. Bring plenty of water if exploring during the summer. There are natural rock, cement paved, & wooden boardwalk sections. While this is a tourist area, the long nature of the path means it never seems busy or crowded. A must-do when visiting NSW.

Yelp
There are some spots with lookout points. The echo points along the way are great for some screaming and venting out loud. It was even great for some hiking, even for this city girl. I am not at all adverse to getting in some exercise and be out amongst my natural environment here and there. Dedicate a few hours or more to seeing as much as you can. It was a bit of driving to get here too.

Yelp
This is a great pathway if you want to see some great views of the park! I started at Echo Point and went a little past the Katoomba Cascades. Along the way there will be lookout points where you'll get some great and sometimes scary views. Worth the walk if you're able to trek through it!
