Prince Hotel

We stayed for two weeks. The prince definitely has its charm. Even though it’s a bit run down, there’s something to it that we really liked. The location is great. There’s two pools with a nice temperature. The room had a big fridge and a kettle with some coffee. The workers in reception always say hello and are kind and so are the cleaning ladies. There’s really cute kitty’s walking around. One of them slept with us some nights. Adorable! The cat definitely made the experience better. Now to some cons: Sometimes the towels given to us were terrible, they should throw these away. And there was a leak in the toilet that made the room smell bad.

Like staying in an abandoned hotel. The Shinging comes to mind. Hotel seems like it’s being renovated , passed by lads concreting indoors and using angle grinders. Old mattresses left on outdoor balcony’s . Cats trying to get into bedroom at night. Pool was in good order. No bar or restaurant. Couldn’t get a wine bottle opener. Very strange set up . Should be closed and completely renovated . Good location

great room. comfy and big bed. nice pillows. great bathroom (not a wet room) lovely shower. lovely pool and a big, secure car park for our bike. about a 15 min walk to the square but everything nearby. amazing value for money

I had broken my foot a few days prior and the staff could not have been more accommodating. They dressed my wound for me and gave us a big room on the ground floor. Beds are so comfortable and the pool is lovely. Such a lovely hotel especially good value for money. Good location too, couldn’t recommend enough!

Great hotel in a good location — about a 15–30 minute walk to most of the main attractions. The rooms are in good condition and were cleaned every day, which we really appreciated. The only downside was that on several nights the duvet cover was either missing or didn’t properly fit the duvet. Even when we asked for a replacement, it took about half an hour to arrive. Also, there was no soap provided in the shower. Aside from that, the hotel has a nice pool, and overall it offers good value for money.

Staff super friendly. It has the style of an old time hotel and definitely has a certain charm. Everything is clean and the pool is great. Would definitely stay again. Wifi a not slow sometimes and in some areas.

Big rooms and really nice beds. We wanted an extra late checkout, so we had to pay for another night, which is totally fine. Our new room wasn’t ready yet, the staff helped us with another room so we could go there immediately. Amazing service! Really nice people at the reception. The room was cleaned everyday.

A clean, comfortable and affordable stay at Prince Hotel. Pros include a spacious room, a comfy big bed, hot showers, lovely pool area, good location just outside the old city, and helpful friendly staff. The only cons were the room being a little outdated but honestly not that big a deal for us, and the noise of the floorboards being abit of a disturbance. All in all a good stay for travellers in Chiang Mai.
