Prince of Wales

We booked a table for Valentine's evening but our van broke down. We called the pub and explained and they were extremely understanding. We eventually managed to get there fifteen minutes before the kitchen shut and received wonderful service. The food was excellent (we both had steak) and the staff were all lovely. We will definitely be back next time we're in Princetown. Highly recommended.

Went here for lunch on my birthday with my family. The food was absolutely amazing, one of the best pies I have ever had, steak and ale, it was absolutely rammed with steak. My kids had a chicken burger and steak burger with bacon, both said they were best they had in a long time. Wife had the mushroom starter, which she said was delicious but she was pretty livid she didn’t have a main after seeing ours. Will def now be a regular of ours. Beautiful walks on the doorstep of the pub as well. Great place 😊

Lovely pub great food and selection of ales. Staff are very friendly and great customer service. Didn't stay overnight so can't rate the rooms but we will be back and stay over night.

We stayed overnight in Room 1. It's an amazing room. Very well done with everything you could need. We ate and drank downstairs food and drink, service was great. Breakfast the next morning great choices and good quality. Recommended.

Amazing place! Amazing staff! Amazing food! Been a few times now for drinks, lunch and dinner. All times have been great! Friendly staff, great vibe, if it's chilled or busy it's just a great place to be. I'd say the best place in princetown for sure. Highly recommend 😬

We had a delicious meal here, pie and mash they were so tasty. They had some great ales and ciders on tap and the staff were wonderful and friendly. There’s a reason this place is so busy! Don’t miss

Amazing pub lovely atmosphere, food was brilliant, and the pies fantastic almost, almost too much to manage. Would definitely recommend 👌

I had lunch here after trekking on the moors. I had the steak and ale pie which was nice and the brownie dessert which was more of a millionaire shortbread. The staff were nice although one of them spent a lot of time on his phone whilst walking through the pub and also vaping going in and out of the kitchen.
