A basic single room, separate kitchenette, with a little fridge, and a clean, functional bathroom. What more could one need. A window by the bed was also appreciated, as was the small wardrobe.
The main building, the lodge itself, is a pleasure to behold, for any who appreciate nineteenth century architecture. There are heritage listed terrace houses along the street, and adjacent parklands.
Staff were pleasant, and courteous. Thank You for providing a simple, and quiet, clean place to stay, at an affordable rate; so much nicer than a clinical, souless motel. To stay there is in some small way, helping to preserve history.
