Great for views of castle and other buildings, a bit of a tatty street, full of shops, but a bit rough, go one street up f9r a quieter experience, different views, less hectic.

Beautiful Princess Street at Christmas time 🌲

Went for Hogmanay and yet again loved it there.

We recently visited this place during New Year, and it was such a great experience! Despite the road being closed for the holiday celebrations, we didn’t mind at all — in fact, it added to the festive atmosphere. There were a lot of people around, all enjoying the celebrations, which made the visit feel lively and exciting. The energy of the crowd really added to the experience, and it was wonderful to see so many families and friends out and about, enjoying the season. Even with the busy environment, everything felt well-organized and safe. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, guiding visitors when needed and ensuring everyone had a smooth experience. We appreciated how welcoming they were, especially during such a busy time. The surrounding area was beautifully decorated for the New Year, and it made walking around and exploring much more enjoyable. Overall, visiting during this time created a memorable experience that we won’t forget. It was fun, festive, and full of positive energy. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a lively, unique experience during the holiday season, and we can’t wait to return.
