I had an amazing stay at Princess Garden Island Resort & Spa! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The property is stunning — beautifully landscaped gardens, spacious and elegant rooms, and breathtaking ocean views. The infinity pool is absolutely perfect for relaxing while enjoying the sunset, and the floating cottages give such a unique island experience. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, always attentive and friendly. The food at the restaurant was delicious, with a great mix of local and international dishes. What I loved most was the peaceful atmosphere — it felt like a true escape from the busy world. I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Palawan! 🌴✨

I recently conducted a workshop at Princesa Garden Island Resort and was very pleased with the experience. The venue was well-equipped, the staff were professional and accommodating, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and conducive to learning. The food and service exceeded expectations, and the location provided a relaxing environment after sessions. Highly recommended for both business and leisure events

You can tell there was a lot of construction going on in the upper floors, but didn't really bother much other than one night for about 10 minutes of driling at 1130p, but otherwise worth the price for the pool access rooms. Food and drinks were really tasty at Tomato & Basil, the bartenders crafted superb classic and original drinks, pools were well kept, jacuzzi was fine, thankful for their shuttle services, entertainment, gym access and hospitality. The view from the spa/gym was incredible. Overall, loved the look and feel of the property. Comfortable, well designed, decorated with lots to look at and many different seating areas to discover and relax at. Would definitely rebook when back in Palawan.

Very beautiful resort with extremely friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and service was very fast. Location is a little far from the city but there are plenty of tricycles outside of the resort that are more than ready to help transport you. The food was amazing. The Underground river and Honda Bay tours were a must see! Would definitely recommend this resort.

Nice and very accommodating also the staff amazing eventPrincesa Garden Island Resort & Spa is highly regarded for its happy and nice accommodations, offering a tranquil and luxurious getaway in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. The resort is praised for its attentive, warm, and consistent staff, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances guests' experiences. Its setting on a spacious property combines natural beauty with well-maintained gardens, pools, and various amenities, including a wellness village and spa that offer relaxation and rejuvenation. The accommodations range from elegant suites to water villas and pool-access rooms, all noted for being clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with a blend of modern and traditional Filipino touches.||Guests especially appreciate the peaceful ambiance, family-friendly amenities like mini-water parks, and various dining options that cater to diverse tastes. However, some reviews mention limited beach access and occasional maintenance issues, but these do not overshadow the overall positive impression. The resort is also conveniently located near Puerto Princesa International Airport and popular local attractions, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers looking for a calm retreat with excellent service.

Princesa Garden Island Resort & Spa offers a tranquil escape in Puerto Princesa with spacious, well-maintained rooms and the city’s largest pool. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, frequently praised for personalized service. Guests enjoy modern amenities including direct pool access, a relaxing spa, and diverse dining options, though some find meals a bit pricey. The resort’s tropical landscaping and peaceful setting make it an ideal getaway, but its remote location means travelers may need transport to the city. Minor maintenance concerns and occasional service delays are noted, yet overall, the experience is memorable and relaxing

Its a great place to stay while we were staying in Puerto princessa. Nilo was very friendly and helpful even during booking. I also appreciate Myrna from the front desk. Very great customer service. The ground crew plus the restaurant staff were very friendly as well, and accommodating. The place needs an update on some areas but overall it was a great experience to stay on this place.

Yelp
We stayed here for one night before a flight. The grounds are impressive and gorgeous. Main pool is huge and great for lap swimming or lounging. Tomato Basil restaurant was actually great pizza (chicken shwarma pizza as a hit!), but service was slow and prices were high. Room was immaculate and well appointed. I just love the style of this place. They were doing some construction while we were there, but it wasn't overly noisy. Free shuttle to the airport is a nice perk.

Yelp
Attention everyone! I don't even know where to begin with this hotel. If this hotel is rated # 1 in Palawan they need to do a major recheck on there ratings! As soon as we arrived to hotel we where greeted and had to wait until our room was done. When we got into our room we decide to go swimming here is where it all begin the water is dirty filthy certain objects floating around as well as the cold jacuzzi they have. The bottom of the pools are warned out Needs major repair. Next comes the basil and lemon restaurant. When you place an order either, they don't have the item or it will take 45 minutes just to get two scoops of ice cream. The waiters are very forgetful, especially when they see caucasian guest they tend to forgot how to speak in English. Breakfast is included but not many choices to pick from when certain items finish they don't replace it right away unless you tell them. At the front desk there is a spin wheel the hotel asks guest to write a good review and if you do you get to spin the wheel and get a prize! There are no grab drivers here or taxis you have to walk or take Tuk-Tuk which is not comfortable if you are a tall person and not skinny also! Anyway double check before coming to this hotel I am sure there is more better ones then this one! I suggest going to Boracay!!

Yelp
Pros:great kitchen and bar and great food from the restaurant. Cons: WARNING BED This is the most expensive resort in puerto princess so I figured that meant it would have great amenities, service and cleanliness. My experience was not that! The first day I checked in early and was told I'd be charged half rate for the hotel room. I was charged 2 full day rates. That was not the issue. I did not mind since I was checking in early! After taking a nap I woke up to what I thought was mosquito bites. After further investigation I have over 50 bed bug bites on both my legs and even more on my torso. When I spoke to the front desk I was told that they would bring my concern to management and that they have them in the office as well!!! I can't make this up. Our second day we were moved to a smaller room due to full occupancy. The air conditioner does not work!!!! If I could give this hotel 0 starts I would.

Yelp
Beautiful resort! Stayed here in 2016 and loved it. Now we did have an problem when booking through Expedia where the description on the website did not match what was actually available at the resort. But the problem was fixed very quickly and our room upgraded to the poolside villa! You literally walk out your door and it's just 8 steps into the pool! A private pool at that for only villa guests. The grounds were well maintained. The views were beautiful. Everywhere you walked you were greeted with "good morning" and "have a nice day" by staff. The food in all the restaurants were great. You're able to book excursions like a day trip to the underground river through the resort so that's super helpful. The gym was small but there was enough there to get something done (gotta work off all the food!). The spa was AMAZING! One of the best massages of my life! Don't know if they still do it, but they had an evening bbq party with live music outdoors and that was unique and fun. Loved this place and can't wait to go again next time we're back in the Philippines!

Yelp
The resort is on a beautifully decorated grounds , coconuts palm trees, tropical plants and the ambiance and some good restaurant options. The resort was 15 mins free ride from the airport and the front desk staff and general staff who works here are extremely friendly and at all times helpful with information or arranging transportation to town or other areas. Every guest is greeted with a welcome drink and Princess necklace during check in. I had the one of the water villa which is isolated on a mangrove from the rest of the resort that came with free breakfast buffet which includes some Filipino options. At first I love the place and the great room but after a few days you start to notice the failings. The shower head busted in the room and all the bathroom fixture where worn and need of replacement. At night the path to the water villas is not lighted well and the ground is not pave all the way to the villas and the rest of the resort and the wood path over the the water is so lumpy you think the wheels on your luggage will pop off. The laundry service and room service was great, and also many times left us complimentary treats in the room to eat. The buffets was good, and fruit drinks real good. But at dinner time the restaurant staff is composed of students who are not at all attentive and I had to request three times for my check. Each night they play a movie or have live entertainment. And there is a arm security staff to protect the guest and the grounds. What was also good was how easy you can go to town which has all it's main streets well lighted decorations all over the trees. The sandbar was small and you can't get to it unless by boat or kayak. The Thai restaurant was closed and looked out of business and the small convenience store was only open a few hours in the morning. On the plus side a tour office is open most of the day.  A must is that you need to explore the grounds else you may miss the spa, game room , kids pool , garden nursery, exercise room and a few more hidden spots. I paid 5 star price for my villa but felt that I didn't have a 5 star experience but I give it a generous 4 stars on my review.

Yelp
Princesa garden 5 stars for value, extremely helpful and hospitable staff, beautifully decorated grounds and ambiance, comfortable rooms, and great restaurant options. This place is approximately 10-15 mins from the airport. I'm absolutely in love with this place. From the minute we entered the property, our jaws dropped on how beautiful it's grounds are. The front desk staff and everyone who works here are extremely friendly greeting everyone each time they pass by any and every guest. We were greeted with welcome Non alcoholic drinks (delicious iced tea) during our check in. We got the double bed pool access room at $150ish per night: amazing value! The room had plenty of room, clean, beautifully decorated, and the pool access was to die for. The beds were comfortable pillow top- heaven! The bathroom was spacious and the shower had the rainfall head. The pool access tops off this experience because the water was warm and it is literally your backyard! Great wifi strength completes the amazingness of this place! The room came with free breakfast buffet. It was kind of weird how they offer hot noodle soup for breakfast. They also had an omelette station, different types of bread, charcuterie, cereals, fish, sausage, and other small breakfast items. They had juices and espresso drink options. Extra person is charged 450php. I don't know if this is worth it for that price. We were totally turned off by the fruit flies and flies in the dining area. I love the fact that non motorized water activities were included such as kayaking, paddle boat, mini golf are free. There are other activities offered for a fee that must be booked with the concierge such as floating lunch, kalesa ride, banana boat, etc. Unfortunately, all non motorized water activities are only available during high tide so we were not able to take advantage of these offerings. Hotel transfers are also included with your stay. If you would like to get dropped off elsewhere besides the airport on your departure, they charge 300php. WARNING: if you come in the low tide season, the water villas are not as appealing since there is no water below you. I'm so glad I didn't spend the extra bucks to stay at a water villa since it wasn't a very attractive sight without the water surrounding you. I will definitely stay here again!

Yelp
The first review I wrote was too long because of the countless things I thought was wrong with this resort. Here's a simple breakdown Grounds: 1 star Staff: 1 star (Spa staff and front desk were the only ones who seemed to care and were actually helpful and accomodating) Food: 1 star Overall: Would not come back. Would not recommend. Not what was advertised. Lack of attention to detail. Lack of cleanliness in all fields. Food was ghastly and missed every shot

Yelp
This place is listed as a 5 Star Hotel and resort. I booked a family vacation for 12 people. Unfortunately we had to split up to save some money and i reserved a hotel for the other half of my family at Best Western. About 5 mins away from Princesa Garden. Food: 1 Star There was flies every where. When serving the roast beef, the slices were so skinny as if they were trying to make the roast beef last for everyone. Fried chicken tasted stale and looked as if we were provided left overs. Accommodations: negative Star We had the water villas. On our 2nd night our shower and one of our sinks stop working. We had a schedule tour early in the morning and i was unable to shower prior to the tour. They were suppose to repair while we were out. Upon returning from the tour, 8 hours later the shower still did not work. We have a jacuzzi on the patio. They said when we want to use it, call room service and they will set it up. So we did. They attempted to fill it up, took forever. The water pressure was so low. When we thought it was ready we jumped in the water was room temperature. Just Terrible. What a waste of water. The gym: Terrible. Nothing to use. The advertise on their map that there is a miniature golf. It doesn't exist. The only positive during our stay was the Hilot massage. We had a couples massage. Great massage therapists, good ambiance. We have a few more nights left. We fly to Manila later in the week. Hopefully we will be able to make up the remainder of our trip there. This was very disappointing.

Yelp
On my first visit to Puerto Princesa, I booked 2 nights at this spacious resort and was not disappointed. The staff were gracious and friendly, the rooms were clean, the sheets pillows and blanket were of high quality, bathroom kept very clean, AC worked properly and not noisy. We had a room in one of the buildings over looking the pool but there were more expensive rooms on the water or with private gardens and dipping pools. We tried the Italian and Thai restaurant and both were excellent. The breakfast were expansive, but for some reason just so so. Nothing stood out. The spa was clean, staff were efficient and great masseuses. We booked the underground river tour with the front desk so it was very convenient, so all in all, I say if your budget permits it and you want a stress free hotel away from the hustle and bustle of city center, all inclusive hotel with lots of activities and high end amenities, you need to stay at Princesa Garden Island. You need to use all what they offer to make it worth the expense. If you plan to be out most of the days doing day tours, you're much better off staying at city centers hotels. This hotel is for relaxing within the property. I would have given five stars if not for the fact that at being only a two year old property, the maintenance seems to be dwindling. Owners need to spend more money on daily maintenance ( water the dying plants around the property perhaps? Or make sure all the bathroom grouts are scrubbed off?) small details that doesn't take away from a great overall experience.

Yelp
5 stars for impeccable service and staff. The resort is only a few years old and you can tell it is just barely starting to weather. But the staff and service are out of this world amazing. The buffet breakfast every morning is delicious. The multitude of restaurants the resort features are all unique and worth a try at each individual one. It's a short walk to the beach, and if you can make it to the sandbar it is completely breathtaking. The poolside rooms are lovely and the pools themselves are huge and perfectly comfortable. I appreciated that they were salt water pools as opposed to chlorine pools. I could go on forever. This resort is amazing. I could have stayed here forever. The Princesa Garden Resort and Spa truly left me feeling like a princess. I do plan on coming back someday. Hopefully sooner than later.
