Last December, my husband and I returned home with our nine-year-old son to attend our high school batch reunion held at Princesa Garden Island Resort and Spa. A day prior to the event, we brought our son along so he could also enjoy the resort, especially the swimming pools. A few months earlier, we had likewise visited the resort with our classmates and their children. That experience was truly one for the books, as our kids, meeting for the first time, spent hours enjoying the pool until sunset. They also thoroughly enjoyed the food at the resort’s Tomato and Basil Restaurant.||As someone who loves plants, thoughtful landscaping, and tasteful décor, the resort was a visual treat. I first visited Princesa Garden Island Resort in 2014, when it was already impressive, though not quite as grand as it is today. At the time, the resort had only recently opened, and its operations felt understandably modest. It is remarkable to see how it has evolved over the years, beautifully expanding while maintaining its elegance.||Not even a year before our wedding date, I booked Hari Hall for our wedding reception in May 2015. The venue needed very little dressing; it was already stunning on its own, making it the perfect choice for someone who wanted a naturally grand space without excessive embellishments. Eleven years later, our batch booked one-third of Hari Hall for our high school reunion, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how well it has been maintained. Aside from the addition of an LED screen where there were once only projector screens, the hall looked as crisp and elegant as it did during our wedding.||Princesa Garden Island Resort and Spa truly holds a special place in our hearts. It is not just a venue for events, but a place where meaningful memories continue to be made, year after year.
