Island Hopping Through the Caribbean on the Mega-Ship ‘Enchanted Princess’

"Princess's own port of call on Eleuthera comes clearly into focus as you zip across on a tender from the ship. There are lounge chairs set up by the shoreline and huts stocked with water-sports gear like paddleboards and snorkeling kits. I opted for a one-person kayak and spent the morning paddling through the glass-like water."

Why Destination Vow Renewals at Sea Are Becoming So Popular

"Princess Cruises, which was the first cruise line to permit captains to legally marry couples at sea in the late 1990s, offers a few options, which can be held in its fleet’s onboard wedding chapels or in its private Bahamian port at Princess Cays, and will be officiated by the captain. The deluxe package throws in a 25-minute spa treatment per person and a champagne breakfast-in-bed in addition to the vow renewal standards, like a bouquet and boutonniere, champagne, a framed portrait, and a captain-signed commemorative certificate ($509)."

It was a beautiful port. The water was beautiful clear and warm. Went here October 21 with my mom. Shops very expensive, free burger was decent. Drinks very expensive just like on the boat. I wish I had known that you don’t have to go too far, but you can go outside the gate and there is a man with a hut that cooks and serves drinks for 3/4 of the price.

The air was hot for obvious reasons (midsummer). The beach had bright white sand and was very clean. The sea was blue, warm, and crystal clear. My family spent the whole time swimming and floating. Cannot ask for a calmer environment.

Absolutely beautiful island! We snorkeled and had a wonderful lunch provided by our cruise ship Carnival. They had really cool shops around as well. And things like swimming with stingrays!

We had a wonderful time on the island. Very pretty and the staff was so nice. There are a lot of tree shade for the chairs as well.

We were here a few days ago as part of a carnival cruise. We loved it a bunch of shops right there a buffet that was included beach chairs also included but umbrellas were extra. Lots of fish around the rocks. The only thing that we didn’t like was the big step up and down to get to the water down near the stingrays. Hope to go back soon

Wow... I don't know if I can even find the right words to describe such beauty. From the moment we got off the Carnival cruise ship, it was an amazing step into beauty and wonder. The beach ⛱️ was set up with enough chairs for everyone. You could rent cabanas for a daily fee. We rented one because it was very hot and sunny, and I, unfortunately, have skin cancer. So, for us, it was definitely a good investment. Each cabana fit two of the very large chairs. They had a big variety of beach rentals, canoes, BIG blow-up bikes, paddle boats, etc. There were (of course🤔🤣) many shops to venture into and places to eat.

This island is beautiful and there are many lounge chairs that are free to use. Remember to take a towel. There is some seaweed in the water, but that means you can see the small silver fish easily. The sand is soft, not rocky or filled with shells. The available food is okay. Hamburgers and hot dogs, with some salads and fruit.

Beautiful island! Slightly crowded because there were 4 cruise ships there when we were there. Unfortunately we had a bad thunderstorm in the afternoon, causing us to have to return to our ship early. Highly recommend bringing a rain poncho along!
