Exterior looks old. Room is newly renovated with microwave and fridge in the room. However all of us think that the heater is not working except the staff. We were told by the other staff there’s no limo bus service to the airport which we found out there’s a service 3 streets away or at the bus terminal from the tourist information center. Other than that, all was good.

Me and my girlfriend spent a sleepless night there, checking out completely tired emotionally and physically exhausted. The reason why we couldn't sleep was because of the bed that moved in all directions at a slightest sigh. (They had the room available only with one double bed). The bed moves like crazy if someone moved just a little bit, so another person feels the slightest movement and the whole bed becomes a roller coaster. It was so bad, so that for the first time in my life I had to book ANOTHER room just to sleep separately. The stuff was kind but I'd give the room away for free or give a discount in this situation, that's why I rate the service at one star. The blanket was also the worst thing that shocked us completely. They have a blanket and a blanket sheet SEPERATE, so that they don't have to do much work when cleaning the room. But the result of it is that you end up under a dirty blanket that was used by hundreds of people because the sheet always sleeps away. I've never seen that the blanket and the blanket sheet are completely separate. I've lived in the cheapest Chinese hotels and spent 8 years in Asia and this hotel is truly one of the worst experiences of my life. (First time in my life wrong a negative hotel review also) Finally, when my gf was sleeping on her own, the alarm clock suddenly bursted out at 8 am (as we figured out, the watch inside the bed had a pre-installed alarm clock that the stuff didn't even reset). I can't say anything bad about the stuff and the breakfast, sauna and the overall feeling of the hotel was pretty decent at the beginning for it's price. But the bed and blanket, along with the alarm clock, all those things completely ruined our last day in Japan. I've never in my life was sensitive enough to book another room at 3 am and I hope that the hotel can take some feedback from me to improve and create a better experience for other guests.

Better than expected, very reasonably priced hotel that located in the very centre of Sakae, lots of shops and restaurants around, aged but well maintained room, the only escalator will change direction in different time, up in the afternoon and down in the morning, and there is an elevator at the back connecting the ground and lobby so no need to worry for the luggages. Paid parking garage JPY1500 per night right next to the hotel, there is a small direct passage next to the paying machine connecting the parking garage and hotel ground entrance, and get the discounted parking ticket at the hotel lobby.

fast check in and check out. lobby one floor up, either taking escalator or elevator (walk straight after entrance and turn to the back), english speaking staff, with hotspring. the room is clean but the wall paper need to be touch up a bit.

I had a decent stay at this hotel. It probably is not the best, it is quite old and deserves modernization, but I enjoyed my stay. The room was huge compared to other hotels I've stayed in, and is well equipped. Ideal location at the heart of Nagoya. However noise isolation is very poor, and you can hear the noises from the streets quite well.

A nice dated hotel situated in the middle of Sakae with close proximity to Sakae Station, f&b and shopping malls. Reception is on the second level of hotel and check-in process was quick and flawless. Staffs were polite and attentive. I stayed for 3 days 2 night and got a superior double room. Room was located on the 10th floor and window overlooking the main street but no noise from the street below could be heard. Room was clean and was big for Japanese standard however bed and pillow wasn’t the softest and basic amenities provided. A good base if you are staying in Sakae.

Me and my friends got a room with 3 single beds. It was around 3-4k¥ per person per night for 3 nights, very affordable. The room was actually very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The location is also great for travelling to anywhere you need, and the main shrines are a 10 min walk away.
