Principessa Pio - Ristorante e Resort

Wonderful agriturismo in the city, excellent food in terms of taste, quality of produce, ideas and presentation. Have already rebooked to go back! Excellent customer service from all staff too. Highly recommend if you’re in Ferrara.

I stayed at Pio a couple of years ago and I cannot wait to return. The building and setting is incantevole and the staff are wonderful. It’s my favourite hotel in all of Europe and I travel a lot. The food is also wonderful. In addition, Ferrara is a gorgeous city. I hope to see you soon. Julian Roberts

Beautiful location, very close to city center, but questionable renovation...it depends on your taste. Food is featureless, nothing special. Like a tourist restaurant. Staff definitely not fitting the ambitions of the place (not particularly high though)...hence I mean very poor service. Forget about wines, mediocre selection and incapability to serve: how can you present a red wine at room temperature (26-27 degrees)...no cellar? In a place with average summer temperature above 30 degrees? Perfect method to cook your wines...

Location, people and atmosphere are one of a kind

Beautiful place to have lunch. The food was above average and the atmosphere was a nice gem so close to the city.

Amazing lunch in a renewed typical country farm. Some dish made of goods grown in the own garden.

Excellent location, informal atmosphere, beautiful outdoor area, ideal for kids. Appetizers and primi piatti are delicious.

Beautiful setting but is a very noisy building due to it being a restaurant/wedding setting
