We recently had hightea at Stampa at the print hall, it was a beautiful bird cage tower presentation with scrumptious treats. Great service, pleasant atmosphere - although can get loud near the bar area. Overall, a lovely experience!

Didn't look busy when we arrived just after 12.30. Ordered two Smash S burgers off the "Express" lunch menu. We would've waited close to an hour for our meals to arrive. When I enquired as to the whereabouts of our order I was told it was "busy in the kitchen". I looked around and said it's not even busy in here. Waited probably another ten or fifteen minutes after making my enquiry before the meals arrived. While the burger was ok, the chips were excellent, but the "salad" pictured, was nothing more than a handful of leaves from a bag of Woolworths four leaf lettuce pack. No dressing, nothing. Terrible service. I'd hate to actually eat here when it is busy. Very poor.

A quality Italian dining room in the Print Hall compound with well engineered dishes. The menu is work of well curated art, inspiring to young chefs. The scallops are a must have, a first for me the way they were executed, but I like an eatery that pushes the barrow. The salted caramel expresso martini is worth a mention.

the weekday express lunch has a pretty good range, well priced and in such a great setting. nice option if you want something classy but not really expensive?

Consistently good Friday lunch. The steak sandwich and burger are both reasonable quality for the price relative to nearby pubs but it is really those roast potatoes on the side that we really enjoy. Keep the roast spuds (heavily browned & seasoned). If you want tips where to improve, the steak in the sandwich could be thicker and tastier (more salt & add charcoal flavour), perhaps more acidity (pickle or relish) and cherry/sliced tomato is gross but I'm still giving 5 stars because some weirdos like raw tomato and you can't please everyone. Keep up the good work.

What an amazing experience! We spent family Friday lunch with our kids in Print Hall. The food was lovely and tasted really delicious. The service is outstanding. They were prompt and very helpful, and of course patient with our kids. We got to know Roberta and her team which was beautiful to see how they work together. It is professional standard of service. We will be back definitely! I would highly recommend it!

Really nice place with comfortable chairs, great ambience. Good selection of drinks and food. However for an island bar only 1 side gets served. Not a very busy Saturday night and all bar staffs was paying attention to 1 side. And this is not the first time I had this happened. The band is great on a Saturday.

Beautiful building with great restaurants and fantastic bar. Extremely well run by a Scottish manager assisted by very friendly and highly professional staff. Probably the best service I've experienced at any venue in Western Australia. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Great Southern 2013 Vintage Reds Snapshot Recently I was invited along (thanks Dr John Gates) to a tasting of 2013 reds from the Frankland and Mt Barker/Denmark areas. Held at Print Hall it was organised by the Great Southern Wine Producers Association and showcased Shiraz and Cabernet from the two sub-regions. Nineteen wines were on display and were presented in four groups - Frankland River Shiraz, Mount Barker and Denmark Shiraz, and similarly for Cabernet Sauvignon. After each bracket was tasted and assessed a discussion ensued among the participants, led by Tan Ying Hsien, Singapore's first Master of Wine, and Chairman of the Association, Andrew Hoadley, winemaker at La Violetta. Tan Ying Tsien provided insightful comments on the wines and while he considered, I think, the Shiraz to be the stronger group, the Cabernets also won praise. As I have a preference when all is equal for Cabernet, my opinion probably was a little the other way; but all the wines, bar one, were very good examples of the variety and regions. Anyway, my notes from the tasting are summarised below, along with an indicative rating for each. Shiraz Alkoomi Shiraz Viognier Bright and vibrant hue; spicy dark fruit herbaceous bouquet; medium bodied with fine tannins, cherry and dark plum fruit, well balanced with a persistent finish. 94 Rockcliffe Third Reef Dark red colour; tarry plum and liquorice aromas, with peppery back notes; firm tannins, juicy dark fruit on the very approachable palate. 95 Ferngrove Dragon Brightly coloured, lifted spice - nutmeg, pepper - aromas along with cherries and a hint of olive leaf. The palate is smooth and elegant, chocolate, cherries and peppery notes predominate; should continue to age well. 95 Frankland Estate Isolation Ridge Aromatic nose of pepper, mulberries, sour cherry and a touch of cloves; the medium bodied palate exhibits savoury elements, fine smooth tannins; nice long finish. 94 Moombaki Dark hued, chocolate, spice and dark plum aromas; smooth palate with sweet and juicy fruit; smoky oak and peppery notes on the mid palate. 94 3Drops Bright crimson, dark chocolate and blackberry aromas, with a full bodied palate redolent of mulberries, sour cherries and spicy notes of cloves, nutmeg and black pepper. 96 Howard Park Scotsdale I can only think this was a bad batch - the bouquet was heavily sulphurous, green and vegetal; for all that the palate was smooth and lingering. It would be unfair to rate it on this bottle - other reviewers have rated it well. Larry Cherubino Laissez Faire Deep, dark burgundy, lifted spice and dark fruit aromas, with a full bodied palate, peppery and savoury notes; beautiful persistent finish. 96 La Violetta La Ciornia Vibrant colour, elevated bouquet of dark fruit, cloves, pepper and bay; fine tannins; chocolate, spice and blackberry flavours; very well balanced with perfectly integrated oak. 97 Cabernet Sauvignon Moombaki Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc/ Malbec Blackberry and mint aromas, lead onto a somewhat austere palate, with blackcurrant, mulberry and spicy notes. 94 Howard Park Scotsdale Deep red, blackcurrant, chocolate and mint aromas; smooth, classy palate, rich flavours of spicy oak, mint and black fruit. 96 Rockcliffe Single Site Lovely violet notes on the bouquet, along with blackcurrant and a hint of bay leaf; full bodied, fine tannins, long finish of dark fruit and mint. 95 Galafrey Red berry and chocolate nose; smooth, gravelly and dusty tannins; good use of oak; red cherry and raspberry notes. 94 Forest Hill Block 5 Aromatic nose of plum, olive leaf and tobacco; the palate is full of juicy fruit, supported by smooth tannins and integrated oak; blackcurrant and spicy notes. Fine, persistent finish. 95 Ferngrove Majestic A slightly reductive nose, blackcurrants and herbal notes. Sweet fruit, good tannins, touch of vanilla. 91 Frankland Estate Isolation Ridge Lifted aromas of blackberry, plum and mint; dark chocolate, mulberry and mint; grippy tannins; finishes well. 94 Castelli Il Liris Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz/Malbec Deep, dark hue; bouquet of chocolate, cherry, blackberry and tobacco; ripe tannins, silky smooth, opulent plum and dark fruit on the palate with a lingering peppery note. 96 Singlefile Philip Adrian Deep purple, highly aromatic nose of violets, cedar, mint and blackcurrants; wonderfully smooth and luxurious palate; beautifully balanced; silky tannins; lingering mouthfeel and finish. An outstanding wine by any estimation. 98

Yelp
Friday night at Print Hall - teeming inside the bar but half full in the restaurant. I'm going to make an educated guess that this wont last long.... A wall of impressive wines divides the drinking from the dining. Even though the bar next door is gushing with people, you feel divided enough that the noise doesn't intrude. If anything, it adds energy. The Food: The white asparagus, gnocchi, artichoke dish was beautiful. An artistically plated harmony of subtle flavours and melty textures. I'd order this again. The size and presentation of mains are promotive of a three-course meal. If you have an appetite I suggest two courses or getting some sides. 2 x mains = $80 Well-groomed waitstaff are knowledgeable, European and maybe a bit over enthusiastic (not once letting our waters reach below the 3/4 mark) This was my first time tasting the creations of David Coomer, and expectations were met, however not exceeded. If I had to compare the cuisine to another in Perth, it would be Restaurant Amuse, except with a little more rustic and a little less Heston Blumenthal. Add it to the bucket list all you serious foodies out there.

Yelp
We had a four course dinner waiting at the Print Hall Dining Room, an upmarket restaurant hidden behind the Print Hall bar (ground floor). This a special occasion restaurant and pretty damn fancy. You have two options for dinner: four courses ($110) or the degustation ($150). My blue manna crab entrée was not super exciting. The strongest flavour was 'ocean'... However, the camel tartare was a fantastic punchy combination of raw meat, wattle seeds and bush tomato. It was so weird to taste the savoury dijon mustard ice cream, but it tasted incredible with the tartare! The unagi with strawberries was a Japanese fushion dish with a curious combination of flavours which included strawberries, puffed rice, riberries (which are native to Australia), bitter orange and sour plum. The duck egg custard was just phenomenal. A gentle tap shattered the crust of sugar and porcini, which met the incredible medley of tender and earthy mushrooms, the satisfying crunch of roasted hazelnuts, and an outrageously creamy duck egg custard. THE BEST! The beef sirloin with black garlic was perfectly cooked and rested. Somewhat understated, but quite tasty. The duck main was juicy and I enjoyed the creamy sheep's yoghurt, but kale doesn't belong on any plate of mine (baked, mushy or otherwise). Phwoar!! The deconstructed black forest cake stole the show - chocolate mousse, sour cherries, hazelnuts and dark chocolate ice cream. Mmmm sensational!

Yelp
I met up with an old friend and fellow blogger for lunch at Print Hall. Sarah Louise is a Perth girl that left WA for bigger and brighter things about six years ago. In her absence, Perth has changed immensely. I thought it was only fitting to take her to the one of the places in town that has had the most dramatic of transformations - Brookfield Place. When Sarah lived in Perth it was merely a derelict hole-in-the-ground. We stopped by Print Hall for some lunch. We found prices on the bar menu surprisingly reasonable. I had the "Wood fire grilled pork". It's house smoked in BBQ sauce and served with slaw & sweet corn ($29) This has got to be one of my ALL TIME favourite dishes. I'm not entirely sure what cut of meat was used, but it was basically like eating super tender ribs, without any bones. I LOVE ribs. To have the same experience - sans sticky fingers - was wonderful! (and much more lady like) ABSOLUTELLY DELICIOUS. The slaw and corn cob were great accompaniments. Sarah had the "Local Blue Mussles" cooked with chili and celery and served with grilled sourdough on the side ($17). She really loved them. They were big in size and in flavour. I was really impressed with the food at Print Hall. My previous visit was for Jerry's Oysters and Champers - so it was great to try something a little more substantial this time. We had a lovely catch up and lip smacking-ly scrumptious lunch.

Yelp
We bought tickets to the Adriano Zumbo event, it was $150pp plus drinks for the cheapest tickets with drinks costing extra, tbh I didn't care, it was Zumbo so it was worth it, right? Nope, I was wrong! I posted on Yelp when I checked into Print Hall I wanted to marry him, but by the time I left I was beyond disappointed. Before we had even attended the event I questioned what the night would be like when I was one of 6 recipients of an emai with receipts with the same credit card number - which by the way, wasn't mine! How unprofessional. The canapés, entree and mains were to be cooked by Print Hall and Adriano Zumbo was to do 4 courses of desserts. We arrived at about 6.45pm, the table menus clearly stated 'canapés on arrival' but it wasn't until nearly 8pm that these said canapés were served; I was starving by then! They were quail 'drumsticks,' a thyme crackle with garlic mayo and another. Entree followed half an hour later - potato and stinging nettle fermented bean curd, fat hen and goat curd. It had a range of textures and flavours; N really enjoyed it. Mains was roast lamb en tourney kohl rabi, tandoori and spring onion. I was given a jus as the tandoori had nuts, it was great they were considerate and happy to substitute. We were lucky because we were one of the first tables to receive our mains. The lamb was rare and delicious, N said the sunflowers accompanied the tandoori well but as I did not have this sauce, it was just weird having seeds throughout my meal. An hour and 20 minutes later, at 10pm we received our first Zumbo dessert - caramel, hazelnut, strawberry, peanut butter, French fries. This was much less than dismal in my opinion. There was no substitution for the peanut butter so I received a giant plate with a tiny portion and French fries on the top and that was it. What? When he came out to speak with us, someone asked if he got them from Maccas! They really tasted like Maccas fries and that was one of the most enjoyable parts of his dish - frozen french fries... This surely was disappointing. The accompanying tawney port was nice though. Over 40 minutes later the second dessert course was served - black rice, blackcurrants, liquorice, hojicha tea. Again, it was disappointing. It was a bigger portion but the only element I enjoyed was the blackcurrant glass, it was like a super thin and crispy roll up! The rest of the dessert I did not understand or enjoy and so I left most of it after tasting all elements. The service was interesting with this dish because we were given the desserts that were made for the customers next to us. I started eating and then a waitress came to our table with 2 new dishes and then turned around and legged it back to the kitchen. She then retuned to ask what I had eaten - luckily I was taking photos for yelp because they served me a nut dish that was not intended for me and the dish was taken and replaced shortly after. 25 minutes later at 11.07pm we received the third course. It was rice wine, vanilla, berries and yuzu. There was one thin slice of a horizontally cut strawberry, a few blueberries, 3 raspberries, some cream and rice wine sorbet. It was probably the nicest dessert we had but by 11pm I was too tired to completely enjoy it. We waited another 35 minutes and the cutlery was still being placed on tables so we left and did not have the third course. When we exited I counted 5 other tables that had already been emptied. I was not surprised people left - we heard another customer say their car park closed at 11pm earlier and ours closed at midnight. People have to go to work the next day and have children, at 20 to 12, waiting for another course was not a priority - sleep was. After the final dessert course Zumbo was still to sign books and speak with customers. We decided it wasn't worth our time. (Had we enjoyed the first few desserts we would've stayed) I understand that there must be a kitchen change over of chefs, a clean and pack up and set up for new meals. If Print Hall was able to execute their canapés and entree on time, perhaps we would've been able to have all courses and we may have had an earlier night. I am so disappointed that a $360 meal was still running at 11.40 on a weeknight and we didn't get to have the last course. The room looked lovely and most the service staff were attentive. I was happy with the service mostly... Minus my plate being pulled out from me because I was given the wrong dish. All in all such a poorly organised and executed night, my expectations were much higher than what was delivered considering how amazing Adriano Zumbo's desserts are in his concept stores. Being such a sweet tooth, we always visit at least once when in Melbourne, however, if Zumbo was a permanent fixture at Print Hall I wouldn't return and had I not enjoyed his incredible cakes, macarons and other creations I wouldn't understand why Zumbo has the respect of so many. Unfortunately, he lost mine last night

Yelp
Print Hall is both an upmarket bar and restaurant; I am baseing this on more the restaurant which in itself is a challenge. I have had terrific experiences being treated to the finest service and offered great advise around food and wine advice on my first visit; however in a subsequent visit was ignored and even after grabbing the waiter attention was all but told that they were focusing on more important people! I can only presume the above is not normal so I am willing to give them the benefit if the doubt though with so many other places competing for my money I admit I have not returned since. Let's get serious and discuss the food; here they really shine all my dishes have been really well thought out and executed as you may expect and the portion sizing allows you to try the three course meal if you desire. The wine selection is well side serving of the awards they have own and is outstanding, however if you are not ordering top dollar bottles you may not get access to the best sommelier, but I believe most of the staff have a good appreciation so that is okay. I appreciate they are part of a group of venues trying to push a smart dress code in Perth however I have seen it applied inconsistently which I find sends mixed messages - but that could just be my experiences?

Radek S.

Yelp
Plenty of awards but is it worth the cost? Me and Susan decided to finally give the "Dining Room" a go last night and found most of the acclaim and hype justified. As soon as you enter the dining room the exuberant buzzing of office people having an after work Friday night drink was instantly drowned down to a quieter buzz. We were greeted with a warm smile and taken to our table. The setting is quite elegant and formal in my opinion and the lighting seemed appropriate for the occasion. The exception service carried on throughout the night as a waiter was straight over to offer water for the table. Complementary canapes were brought out not long afterwards. A nice way to start the night whilst deciding what to order for dinner and a drink. We opted for the 4 course option priced at $110 each. The courses seem to go 1) Cold entree 2) Warm Entree 3) Mains 4) Desert. Susan went with 1) BLUE MANNA CRAB almond, enoki mushroom, bean sprout 2) FORBIDDEN RICE local squid, pig, wood grilled chilli 3) PAN ROASTED BARRAMUNDI coorong pippis, chard, paprika, anchovy and finishing with 4) SMASHED DARK CHOCOLATE pecan, raspberry, thyme. I decided on 1) Duck Liver Parfait with toasted brioche 2) Yabbies with smoked bone marrow (a special on that night) 3) DUCK FROM WAGIN and finishing with 4) "WHISKY AND CIGARS" lochan ora, cocoa nib with the 72% option. We washed this down with a few glasses of delicious Chenin Blanc and some very well executed cocktails. For each course our favourites were 1) both were very good as the crab was very light and refreshing but the duck liver parfait was very flavoursome and was rounded off with the brioche 2) The yabbies and smoked bone marrow were a clear winner and had you wanting more 3) The duck was a stand out again as it was cooked perfectly and was fully of great flavour combinations and 4) The smashed chocolate was simply amazing. Service throughout the dining experience was exceptional and the sommelier was very knowledgeable of all the wines on offer as expected. We were also given a complimentary palate cleanser before desert and a "petite four" to end the night. Our waiter throughout the night was friendly and very approachable too. We left pretty content foodwise but did make the following conclusions: The meal was spaced out (it took almost 2.5 hours), meal portion size whilst not ridiculously small was smaller than average for that type of dining (above a dego size but smaller than normal restaurant portions) and .... the cost! The cost of dining here is quite a lot, and seems to be marketed more for the once a year type visitors or special occasions types. If your counting your pennies maybe save up for a bit before booking but if you do you won't be dissapointed by the quality of the food, it presentation, the wine list and the service.

Yelp
This hidden gem in the city is amazing! Great coffee and ambiance. We sampled the lunch menu today and loved the two dishes we had. Salt and pepper squid and buttermilk crispy chicken. The squid were light and crispy as. The dish was served with generous greens great to balance out the 'unhealthy' dish. Buttermilk chicken was scrumptious!! Served with a healing side of siracha to spice things up a lil. Full of flavour and not to oily too. Just how I like it. The venue has a great indoor and outdoor space. Perfect for a quick lunch bite in between work hours. They serve a great choice of sandwiches and pastries also ideal for a quick take away for city workers :) Staff was very friendly and attended to me quick. Will definitely sample more of their food again. Too bad I don't work in the city :/

Danielle P.

Yelp
Great place for a special occasion, we had the 4 courses for $150 the attention to detail is was amazing, shame the fine dining restaurant us gone now but excited to see what comes in its place

Payal H.

Yelp
Just stopped in for a quick drink on a surprisingly quiet Saturday night. Huge bar with friendly staff but lacked the atmosphere of nearby bars. Maybe it was less busy than normal so felt too empty and characterless. Haven't tried the food here so might go back and try that in future.

Carrie G.

Yelp
Print Hall is a spectacular restaurant in a lovely setting. We dined at the bar on this visit and they have a huge selection of food on offer. Their wine list is amazing and when you meet their sommelier, you will know why! On this visit I had the fish and it was beautifully cooked. My husband had the burger and he loved it!

My D.

Yelp
Excellent! Ticks all the boxes, service, atmosphere, quality! Went on a Friday night for dinner and it was incredibly busy, but that is what I love about this complex, it's busy but not in a way that ruins your night. We were seated in the quiet dining area just opposite to the bar and it was so secluded and romantic I really enjoyed it all. The staff were so attentive it would be rude to not mention them! Everything I ask for and so much more! My friends and I opted for the 4 course menu. I can't even tell you a favourite meal because all were just beautiful. From entree through to dessert I was gobsmacked at how lovely everything was. I would reccomend this place a million times over! Definitely a more classier end of business so please dress to impress, be courteous and join the fun of those around you.

Casey H.

Yelp
Very well decorated, they are not trying to hard and I don't think it will date! Went here for after work drinks one Friday and the ground floor bar was absolutely packed! We assumed the rooftop "Bob's Bar" would be packed too. After grabbing a drink and spilling it all over ourselves due to no personal space, we decided to check out upstairs. Not sure if it was because of the amount of stairs up there, but Bob's Bar was near empty! Food & drinks are expensive but average for Perth. ***** FIVE GOLDEN STARS for the toilets, especially the basement ones! Aesop soap & hand cream SURE!

Lily O.

Yelp
I really have to catch up on my reviews! My meal was from February when I took my niece for a special birthday dinner, and it was nice however a bit disappointing. I have heard that the full service dining is now closed though but I think it's still useful to know. We had the degustation and in general found the meals to be good but not great. The serving sizes struck me the most - very tiny portions on giant plates. The quality of flavours varied, but I was very hungry until they brought a whole mini loaf of bread to the table. It was lovely and came with a matcha butter so without this bread I would have given this place a 2 rating for having to leave the place starving. One dish in particular annoyed me, a few tiny blobs of blue cheese with a shaving of pear on top. That certainly should not count as a course! Some dishes were nice - the steak croquette and eggs was good. The dessert of mint vaccherin was far too much like toothpaste though as it left a very chalky flavour and texture on our palates. The service however was exceptional - the decision to hire European staff who well understand the rules of fine dining really paid off and it improved our experience by a mile. Without that I would have given it a 1. My only issue with this though was that very sneaky degustation habit of using your order of bottled water to endlessly open more bottles without asking or telling, and then charging you a bomb but not even giving you an option of finishing the bottle before you leave. I did appreciate that we were given the menu to keep. I won't be rushing back in a hurry unless some things change. I was thankful this was discounted from my Entertainment card or I would have beeness impressed.

Yelp
For a tapas bar the food was very slow Rice small bowl $21 ridiculous Waiters friendly Better ways to spend your money in Perth

Ben G.

Yelp
Cool spot for Beers after work. Gets bus-ay on a Friday. Wear a collared shirt. even a blood stained, torn to shreds one if you want to get around the bouncers armed with dresscode restrictions. Not to labour the point, a Givenchy Couture scoop neck t shirt aint gonna wash. $5 plaid effort from Target will.

Gavin B.

Yelp
Flash. Roomy. Smiley. Scrumptious. Lunch on a Thursday and it wasn't super busy, but the staff were keen and friendly anyway - it's easy to not put in when it's slow. You get the nice touches here like getting your coat taken then delivered promptly when you leave, great explanation of what are really clever meals served in contemporary ways, top shelf wine list, advice from knowledgeable wait staff and a management team that are in touch with what's going on in the place. You know what happens when you get all that? You don't look so hard at the prices. I can't tell you how much I paid, I just know I enjoyed the experience. I'll be here again.

Brett C.

Yelp
Great venue for a drink, my wife and I dropped in here after a river cruise on the Swan for a cocktail or two. make sure you're dressed appropriately as I know people who have been knocked back for not wearing a collar or shoes. The venue is pretty impressive, bar staff are really good and know how to mix some great cocktails. Will be back to try the food next time!

David D.

Yelp
This hipster spot garners a collective 'meh'.. Indicative of Perth's restaurant and bar culture, the drinks were expensive, the food overpriced and mediocre and the service moving between patronizing, rude and just plain bad. (The first girl to talk to us was somewhat nice, one of the other servers was a bit good - by Perth standards - but the pushy manager made everyone at our table upset on some level) At least most of my fellow drinkers didn't stink of the 'desperate irony' that I find at most young professional bars. (Though there were a few) $6 for cashews? Really? Give me some free bar peanuts and a beer at a small friendly pub over this any day.

Zoe V.

Yelp
What an experience, I cant wait to go back her for lunch. To me it was worth every cent and the food was excellent. We had a entrée and main dish and were not disappointed. Not to mentioned they presented with a free starter to share, sometimes it is the personal touches that leave you feeling great about spending a lot of money on food. If you have an entertainment voucher you can try this place with a discount which makes it a yearly treat for me. I will see you for my 2015 excursion!

Martine F.

Yelp
Overall we were both very impressed on each of our evenings at Print Hall . These guys have nailed all the essential key elements for success; polished, knowledgeable service, interesting and creative food with fresh locally sourced produce where possible and an ambience that makes you feel like you are dining somewhere quite special. I look forward to returning but maybe I will go for lunch next time so that I can actually take some decent photos of their beautiful food!

Jessica J.

Yelp
Ended up here ordering a counter meal dinner after walking around the CBD for over an hour trying to get into places on Valentine's Day. My colleague & I were from Sydney on business and thank goodness we had an expense account otherwise even the bar menu here could have sent me broke! We couldn't decide on what to order so we grabbed the Brisket Sliders, Buttermilk Chicken & a Steak each. The sliders were delicious & the chicken also! The chicken hot sauce was too much for me and something simpler to dip the chicken in would have been nice. The onion rings with the sliders were average didn't waste my time with them. The steak was a sirloin lots of fat on it, plenty of flavour but overall wasn't too impressed. The steak came with half a plate of chips whilst they were delicious there were too many and I could have done with some Veg that would have gone down better. Overall the meal was tasty & full of flavour however the price tag was just a bit over the top for bar food! We paid $130 for two appetisers, two mains & 2 soft drinks!! I would have been happy to pay around $100 but $130 was a little steep.

Willie O.

Yelp
The daily special is worth looking at. Try the red bulb cocktail. I like the fried chicken with hot sauce for pure unadulterated comfort food. The Oyster I find probably the freshest you can get in Perth.

Jordan A.

Yelp
I wish my partner and I had left ourselves enough time before our next engagement to have the full 4 course meal, as I was so impressed with what I did eat! The wine list is absolutely mind bogglingly huge. Make sure you are prepared to take your time to read through properly, and talk to sommeliers. The waiter staff are to be commended. A highlight was the quail. Absolutely the best quail dish I have eaten in Perth. My partner has promised to take me back soon for the full 4 course experience!

Elvis K.

Yelp
Checked it out on a busy Friday night when city yuppies come here for a fancy drink. As one of my friends would say - beautiful people relaxing beautifully. So leave your shorts and sneakers at home - cone dressed up. Obviously the choice of drinks is accordingly wide. You can get close to any spirit you would like. Even two types of calvados are on the menu which is a rarity in Perth. If you however want calvados - be prepared that bartender might not know what that is :) Prices are also accordingly high, but hey - this is a blue and white collar territory!

David M.

Yelp
Turned up for a drink after dinner on a Monday evening. The bar section was quiet. Bar tender was friendly and gave us a quick run down of the place and the various sections. He suggested we go for a walk and explore. Rather glad we did. The roof top area looked amazing. We had a drink downstairs in the end. Music was what it should be...background music. We could easily converse without resorting to shouting. Drinks were decent enough and standard price for a city bar. We will be back. I'm quite keen to checkout the rooftop bar for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Claire B.

Yelp
Nice wine list, delicious (if pricey) food. Quite noisy, so if you like to have a quiet chat this is not the place to be. Same goes for if you want to sit down. Overall average in my books as fighting to get to the bar is not my cuppa tea. However, food and drinks are more than edible so really it depends on what you're after

Diane D.

Yelp
Not really sure what the hype is about. Odd drinks - a vodka soda served in a water glass so it was a watered down waste. Food was very hit and miss. One round of oysters was great... The second, a different type (pushed heavily by waitstaff) was totally underwhelming. The salt duck was just nasty, reminiscent of airline food, flabby uncrisped skin and rubbery meat (also pushed by waitstaff). No comment was made when it was retrieved mostly untouched. Service was ok but pushy. Pretty much hipsterville. I guess the scene is more important than the food. Great space but really not enough reason to return.

Yelp
Modern interior, friendly service and a long long list of drinks. The food menu didn't quite sell me however, not much choice and all not necessarily healthy. Fried food was served without a side salad, and the starters are meant to be ordered and shared like tapas. With food allergies, it was not easy to find something for dinner, but I would come back for drinks after work.

Yelp
ARROGANT, RUDE SERVICE - I WALKED OUT! I tried to make a reservation for the bar, but got put in the dining room instead (with a menu 3x the price, and no access to the bar menu). When my group tried to move out to a table in the bar, I couldn't because I was told all tables were reserved (despite their "no reservations in bar" policy). Maitre d' was a pompous jerk who explained how the confusion was all my fault. Made NO effort to accommodate me and my group. I will NEVER go back - arrogant jerks running the place.

Yelp
Print Hall is a perfect example of how much of a backwater Perth really is. Office workers in $20 trousers meeting their friends for over priced drinks. My friends in well tailored shorts and a nice collared shirt weren't even allowed to enter yet if you have on a shitty pair of jeans and crappy tshirt you can get in. Get you priorities right.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday night, enticed by the $1 pint you can get from downloading their app. The pint itself wasn't my cup of tea, but there is a really good beer selection here, and I believe they rotate the taps too. It was pretty crowded and noisy, and the ambience is much better upstairs at Bob's Bar, but overall it's a pretty good spot for a drink.

Yelp
I went to the rooftop bar and I enjoyed it. It had a great feel with fast service at the bar as well as table service too. They have a good selection of drinks and even have Sydney brewer's The Lord Nelson Old Admiral on tap! Perfect for Friday afternoon wind down in summer.

Yelp
We went here for a pre theatre meal with very little time to give this place the justice it deserves, however the staff were incredible. They gave recommendations that worked with our timeframe and got some delicious dishes out quickly without compromising quality. We enjoyed the duck egg custard and the stinging nettle as starters - both delicious, followed by the coral trout and the duck...again very well presented and delicious. Kudos goes to their high service levels with adaptability.

Yelp
Im a Fan of the finely crafted degustation, Am familiar with food trends and I love to explore new ingredients. I looked forward to my birthday dinner at Print Hall as its ratings were good. Sadly however I was very disappointed. Excruciatingly slow service combined with ill conceived dishes of baffling taste thoroughly Underwhelmed. I love the concept of foraged food however it still has to be an exciting and tasty dish. The crab was blanded out to extinction, the salt bush butter was textually horrible and not at all salty, it missed the target, the potato risotto was sharply one dimensional in taste to the point of Arrghhh and the pulled beef Baton with the over smoked fillet bashed together so many jarring flavours and textures that I couldn't eat it at. I have never returned a plate of food in this calibre of restaurant in my life but I was very over it by this plate. The 'complementary' ice berg lettuce salad was soggy and limp. The presentation of the dishes was also dull, particularly colourless and boring. Bread was nice, desert was good if you don't like sweet things, cheese was lovely. Overall however, I'm sure chef thinks it was all very clever but in overly trending the food they forgot the most important thing for the diner. It has to taste fantastic. Print Hall didn't deliver on this Occassion. For me a case of The Emperor's New Clothes. Near $600 not well spent

Yelp
Nice place for a few brews and some food. Very expensive. Other bars are nicer but smaller. This place is very classy. Good for lunch time and less crowded.

Yelp
My review for print hall might come as a surprise for some but I've never experienced service quite as bad as I have there last night we were ignored when we walked in and told to wait she shall return them after waiting 10 minutes she came back and told my partner that we should have a look at the menu first to make sure we can afford it and that we like it . Ummmm What ??? You must be kidding me. When he replied I don't need to look at the menu thank you she disappeared and did not return waiting like complete idiots for our table we left feeling embarrassed. I have heard a lot about this place and the reason I was going there is so I can have the all time famous ribs that I've heard so much about .. I am disgusted that we were treated like this . I will also tell anyone who plans to go there to go to avoid them and head to another restaurant that has great ribs http://www.sentinelbar.com.au/ they were fantastic ..
