20 Best Culinary Experiences and Food Tours in Paris

"The focus in the gourmet food hall in the historic Printemps department store is French goods, which certainly will capture the attention of tourists and locals alike. You name it, you can find it on the 7th floor: small candied hazelnut producers from the Périgord region, artisanal jams, mustards, and other spreadables, teas, herbs, spices, and so much more. Head to the 8th and 9th floors to pick up specialty fresh foods or stay for a light snack or a full meal: here, you’ll find an outpost of Supernature, a vegan and vegetarian restaurant with terrace seating, Le Marché Dans le Ciel, a fresh produce market, pastries from Nina Métayer, and Perruche, a rooftop bar and restaurant with 360° views of the city." - Catherine Down, Lindsey Tramuta

Socheata was so kind and so helpful! She did not mind at all my children being a little bit noisy. She made browsing clothing such an ease. She helped me get some extra points on my card by giving me some tips. Very happy! Great shopping experience.

Honestly, this place is a total vibe on a rainy December night. It’s the perfect spot to duck out of the drizzle because you’ve got everything under one roof—luxury brands, home stuff, and a massive beauty floor. The holiday window displays are stunning, but definitely head to the rooftop for the view of the Eiffel Tower through the mist. It’s busy, but it feels like peak Parisian Christmas.

I was invited to a party at the Printemps rooftop, and it was absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere was refined, the setting was impeccable, and the panoramic view of Paris — especially the Eiffel Tower glowing above the city — made the evening genuinely unforgettable. And I must say, it’s rather amusing knowing that certain people, who spend far too much time obsessively monitoring my reviews, will undoubtedly read this one as well. If they’re scrolling through it right now, i hope the charm of the evening gives them something uplifting to contemplate, for a change.

It should be the best shopping mall in Paris, where you can find almost everything in a big building. On the 1st floor you have a delicious Lebanese restaurant with reasonable prices. It is one of the most fancy mall in Paris, where you have all the jewelery on the 1st floor and the Ground floor, many famous brand names, Chanel, LV, YSL et.. All shops have a great choices and not overpriced. I love this store and it has easy access by subway.

Great department store in Paris. The place is huge and encompasses several buildings that sell specific things - children and toys, household items, fashion, furniture. Also has a food huge court. We were there last week and most of the Christmas decorations are up.

Visited on a weekday in November. Massive department store, and aesthetically beautiful with the rooftop viewing terrace which was free. Only down side was the elevator, which was strictly for buggies and disabled, which no one adhered to. We had a wheelchair and waited half an hour to use the lift, as people couldn't be bothered using the escalator.

Had such a great experience doing my Christmas shopping at Printemps for the first time. Golda went above and beyond she was patient, attentive, and really took the time to walk me through the brands and help me discover the perfect pieces. Her suggestions were thoughtful and spot on. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you again Golda Truly a gem.

Don't settle yourself with Galleries Lafayette's rooftop, Printemps top floor was such a wonderful experience for me! Here you can also shop through great spaces and glass ceiling domes. There's a second hand (high end) clothing area called Le Coupole that looks outstanding. Please take some time in Paris to explore this magnificent store both for men and women, luxury at its best!

Yelp
We were out shopping and delighting all that the Grands Magasins have to offer (especially Printemps--what a beautiful place to shop! Of course, shopping definitely helped us work up an appetite, so we were relieved to discover a set of small restaurants upstairs. This is not a food court. It is a concentrated set of restaurants that all offer a peaceful environment, great service, and delicious food. We opted for Laurent Dubois. Both Mom and I were tempted by the croques--mom went for the classic croque monsieur and I went for the vegetarian version, which came with butternut squash and spinach. It was delicious. We also each had a glass of bubbles, as we are in town partly to celebrate my Granny on what would have been her 106th birthday. We also loved having a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. It was a great way to appreciate this gorgeous city.

Yelp
After leaving Perruche upstairs due to a negative hospitality experience, I stumbled upon Printemps. While I was passing by and reading the posted menu, one of the staff members happily greeted me and asked if I had any questions, all of which she enthusiastically answered. Without any fuss, second thought, or hesitation, the staff opened up a section of the outdoor balcony to accommodate a table for two. The food and cocktails were incredible, not to mention the overwhelmingly beautiful views of the city. I would highly recommend any of the Printemps restaurants if you're looking for a great meal for a decent rate with an incredible view.

Yelp
So this place is a little hard to find as Primtemps is spread out across three huge buildings. This place is on the top of the mens store. There was a bit of a wait for our group of six but it was worth it as the views are phenomenal. Through the balcony wraps around there are separate restaurants so (some of the menu items overlap but one is more burger/fries while the other has more fish options). I got chicken and mashed potatoes which was simple but incredibly well done. The potatoes come in these cute le crusset cocottes and were probably some of the best I ever had. I had to keep my family from eating all of mine. The wine was excellent. Although almost every table was occupied there was still a relaxed vibe and stunning view of the city. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area. It's a nice breath of fresh air from the hustle and bustle of this busy shopping area.

Yelp
I went to the fish corner on the 8th floor and ordered a grilled dorade with vegetables. Very good and fresh products. I followed the waitress recommendation for desert and went for the chocolate mousse. It was decent, i disliked the cone in which it comes in. Too dry for my taste. The space is nice and the view on Paris roofs enchanting. Slightly expensive for what it is but I assume you pay for the standing of printemps store.
