This was an amazing experience. It was extremely clean and had a lot of very high quality exhibits. Tons of cool things to look at for any level of NFL fan. Highly suggest making the stop if you’re driving through the area. The store was also massive and had tons of gear from every team. Worth the visit!

Google
Best day ever! I’d like to start by thanking the amazing staff members who made our visit to the Hall of Fame truly unforgettable: Dan, Gary, Steve, Daniel, Michael, and Chris. These gentlemen were some of the kindest people we’ve ever met; they made my family and me feel so welcome and ensured our time there was memorable. They took the time to share stories and fun facts, whether we were at the exhibits, in the lobby, or browsing the gift shop. They were all incredible! The museum is huge! We spent about four hours exploring every exhibit, taking our time with all the details, and even attending the live shows to see some rare objects from the collection. We even had the opportunity to meet a Hall of Famer! Whether you’re a die-hard football fan or just a "plus one," I promise you’ll enter the Hall of Fame as one person and leave as another, feeling inspired and ready to tackle your next challenge. To everyone who works at the museum: thank you for making my dad’s visit so special. We will definitely be back! All the love for you, guys!

Google
Took a "daycation" to the Hall of Fame. It was awesome! I spent about 5 hours there. There is so much detail in the first exhibit on the history of pro football and the NFL. The hall of busts is obviously a must-see. Loved listening to the live presentations on defunct NFL teams (won some football cards for trivia!) and the history of helmets. The Game of Life presentation is also great and inspiring. Being an Eagles fan, it was awesome getting to see some artifacts from all of their championships (Concrete Charlie jersey included!). The giftshop is huge and has merch for every NFL team. A must-visit if you are a football history nerd or a die-hard NFL fan.

Google
Might be the best museum layout I've seen in recent memory. Flows very well from one exhibit to the next. The photos might describe where my allegiance lies. Current renovations appear to be expanding the appeal of the museum, making it more of a destination. The shop is full of all kinds of memorabilia

Went on a road trip and had the pleasure of visiting this place!!! What a great time! My boyfriend loved it!!! Learned a lot of very interesting facts about helmets and the progression of safety. It was super interesting!! The guy giving the demonstration was awesome!!! There were so many people working there full of football facts!! There is a fellow from England, I think, and he was hanging in the hall of heads. He is chock full of facts about the players. So great chatting with him! Had lunch in the cafe, great meal!!! So reasonably priced too!! We had a really wonderful time!!

Google
Crossed this 9ff my Bucket List on 10.12.2025. Very comprehensive exits and displays regarding the history of football. The Player Bust and Super Bowls Rings sections are Outstanding, and the displays of footballs, helmets, cleats, jerseys, and other items from specific players and teams are Awesome. I was fortunate to meet Green Bay Psckers Legend Dave Robinson during my visit. Highly Recommend to all football fans and to anyone traveling through Canton, Ohio

Google
My husband is NOT a football fan or even a sports fan but he even had fun here. It was so nice. It seemed as though everywhere we looked there was something special to see. Even the most knowledgeable football fans can learn something new. We stopped at the cafe and to our surprise it was not pricey at all. I will definitely be back.

The third time I have visited this over the course of many years, and one thing I can tell you that this Hall of Fame is organized and easy to go through. Just totally unbelievable all the facts and figures and stats that this place has. I hear they're going to be expanding again looks like I'll have to do another visit and then not too distant future. Just too much to talk about here so my suggestion is just go for a visit. They do give veteran discounts. Also I'm told that Tuesday is the best day to go as is the lightest day and tickets are half price.

Yelp
What an unexpected surprise. I'm not a huge fan of football, but the museum is very well put together and the volunteers are knowledgeable and friendly, especially Stan and Steve. Definitely make some time for the live presentations they do every hour. We saw the evolution of helmets, defect or not defunct teams, and odd objects from football. These penetrations were only 20- minutes, but we learned a lot! Logistics: 1. Canton is 1-hr drive south of Cleveland. Allocate at least 2.5-3 hrs to do the museum and the presentations. We could have easily stayed another hour, but we ran out of time. There's also a football village around the hall of fame with restaurants and a Ferris wheel to explore, so you could easily downs a half day here. 2. Buy the combo ticket if you plan on doing both the rock and roll and nfl pro football hall of fame. It's $65 and will save you $10+ vs buying tickets individually. Highlights 1. Hall of fame busts were really breathtaking. I can't wait to come back in 20-years to see recent players in more familiar with 2. Exhibit in the latest Super Bowl winners (Philly Eagles) 3. Live presentations

Yelp
My first visit was almost 13 years ago, and I cannot begin to tell you how much things have changed since then! I remember a completely different campus, with nowhere near the amount of buildings and infrastructure as before! The hard work and construction really paid off, though. Despite the original architecture having a 60s vibe still, the rest of the buildings and area around the Hall are modern and well crafted! The actual Hall of Fame itself isn't much bigger than before (possibly not bigger at all, really), but that doesn't speak to the volume of artifacts and information contained with the walls! Over 100 years of pro football are honored well here! The pride of the exhibits to me is still the "Hall of Busts" (I think the official name is the Legends Gallery). You'll know what I mean when you see it! Each bust presented to a new inductee is giving a place of honor among all the others. It creates an impressive feeling when you see it; even my wife and kid said the same thing. There is so much more to do here than my last visit; they have a small café now (nothing fancy, but a great stop for a snack). Their gift shop is bigger and has a greater variety of products now as well. The Tom Benson field where the HOF Game is played to kick off the pre-season each year is pretty nice as well. The seats aren't bad, there isn't a bad view in the stadium, and the small intimate venue definitely has an old school vibe to it. It only seats around 20,000, so the games here are not nearly as massive as one in a franchise stadium. I'm so impressed by the improvements they've made in the last decade plus. I understand they aren't finished yet either, which is also encouraging to hear. I'm not sure what else they could possibly do to improve the overall experience, but given how much they have done so far and how well it's gone, I'm excited for the next phase! (Note: the ticket price more than doubled to about $45 for general admission, but it still seemed like a good deal given how they have been using the funds lately).

Yelp
It is worth a vist to Canton if you are in the area and love sports, especially football. I am not a huge football fan, but I went with a friend who is a die hard. The place has plenty to see and do. I thought the Hall of Fame would have been larger, but what do I know. The hall of fame covers the history of pro football, formation of the NFL, the sports icons and figures, plus the popular player busts. I thought the best exhibits were the theater rooms.
google avatar

Yelp
This is definitely a bucket list for me! The pro football hall of fame!! I love football and going here was so much fun for me. There's so much to see and do. You can spend a few hours here just wandering around the different exhibits and reading about the history of the NFL. I wish it was closer, I would go annually to learn about each class of hall of famers being inducted! Parking is free and the ticket was reasonably price. Make sure you purchase online before you go! If you love football, you have to go here!

Yelp
An NFL player's dream - maybe one of them is to be recognized, elected into and enshrined in the legendary Hall of Fame in Canton Ohio. A fan's dream , especially this fan of six plus decades-is to soak in everything about this beautiful and inspiring sport - from attending the Super Bowls to meeting the great players to getting to be part of the Hall of Fame festivities and being in the presence of greatness - 384 Hall of Fame legends. Goose bumps for life indeed! My dream came true as I got to visit and spend some great time in this epic institution and meet my heroes in person. The beautiful displays, the uniforms and helmets from 1925; the ability to design and make my own Super Bowl ring, the write ups about players and teams I did not know much about( 32 teams), the inspiring videos with that music, Steve Sabol's voice. On to comparing my scrawny bony arse 209 lb physique to those of these Greek Godesque superheroes. Then there is the fun and spunky staff that is a walking and talking encyclopedia of sports info. They love football and it is so fitting to have them be our hosts and guides. There is so much more. You need a good 7 hours to truly enjoy and take in all this magical place offers. Parking is $25 per car( cash only) and $200 for an RV. This is a must experience for every NFL fan stateside and also for our new fans in Europe and South America. Love the NFL!

Yelp
If you claim to love football, how could you not visit "The Pro Football Hall of Fame"! I actually can't believe it took me this long. Finally, I stand on the grounds of footballs greats. Only a select few, get into this prestigious club. (They need more Giants players in my opinion). This building if full of football history dating back to the beginning. It gives you great insight into how the game became what it is today. A few actives that I enjoyed were, one: going into the booth to review real plays. You decide if the ref made the correct call, after, they tell you if you were right in your decision. This actually makes you appreciate the refs seeing things how they see it. The next cool thing was, having a conversation with someone from England about football. You speak to him virtually and discuss your team at length. He knew a lot and challenged me to think about the Giants differently. After he tells you "good chat" and sends you on your way. Lastly, I enjoyed the hologram of Joe Namath, discussing players in the NFL. You goto a room and then he appears and talks about the game. You would think seeing the busts of former players would be enough, but no, they give you so much more. Finally, you end up in the pro shop. Do not go in if you love football. I ended up spending more than I should on Giants merchandise. I regret nothing, but if left unchecked, it could result in you going bankrupt. I strongly recommend going in with someone who is cheap. This may help.

Yelp
Always wanted to visit and got the chance today. Overall had a great time walking around, seeing, and reading about the history of the game. The second floor has more interactive exhibits and the coolest was the replay. Had 60 secs to decide if the call was confirmed or overturned based on the video evidence. Another amazing exhibit was the history of the helmet. Volunteers were knowledgeable and helpful.

Yelp
This is a must see if you love football. Be prepared to spend a minimum of 3 hours. So much to see!

Yelp
Checked this place out on 7/31/24, the day before Induction Week started. Pretty cool! Admission is very expensive. It was $95 for 2 of us. No AAA or AARP discounts. All good. It's a shrine. I get it. I think there were some guys in there that weren't Chiefs, or Lamar Hunt, but I'm not sure. The movie was really good. The Chiefs win at the end of the year. At least that was the movie for 2022 and 2023. We'll see what happens this year. A 3-pete would be nice. It would also be unprecedented. Seriously, this place is fantastic! I love seeing all of the old football stuff from the 1800s on. Johnny Unitas, John Madden, Dick, Vermeil, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Tony Gonzalez, just the best of the best! It was a real treat to experience this place. There were also a ton of Chiefs fans there and we didn't even have anyone going in this year. But we see each other and recognize greatness.

Yelp
A wonderful reminder of the Old Days of football and seeing the busts of my heroes of the past. Many Packers from the older days are enshrined in the HOF. Great things to see they were also having junior teams up there playing in a tournament just as Cooperstown does. Many interactive displays to see, Gift shop is loaded with memorabilia from all of the teams some teams more than others. Stopped by the Cafe and had Pretzel. Just the right amount of salt and very hot and reasonably priced. Downsides is there are many construction projects going on and the contractors have taken over half on the main visitor lot in front of the HOF with their pick-up trucks. There should be parking for them on the construction site. I told them at the front desk when I got there and they just kind of blew it off like they have heard it many times before. Management needs to come down from their high loft and get involved and fix the issue. When the induction comes in July there won't be any contractors trucks there. Admission fee is almost twice what Cooperstown charges, Military veterans only get a $5.00 break n the entry fee. In Cooperstown vets and retirees get in free saving over $24.00. This is not a place I would rush back to as I would to Cooperstown.

Yelp
Had a great time with great people Thanks for making this off my bucket list Thanks to the volunteers sharing their stories
google avatar

Brandi E.

Yelp
Wow! I spent 7 hours here yesterday and could have easily spent another 2 or 3. There is so much to look at. The displays are set up really nice and the volunteers and staff were as helpful, knowledgable, and friendly as you could hope for. Bonus- They offer several entry discounts, including military, which is nice of them. Must add this to your to do list if you even vaguely like football and are in the area.

Yelp
If you're a service member or former make sure to let them know before you buy your tickets , so you get a discount. This is a great place to see whenever you visit Ohio. Football players/ fans will really enjoy learning the history and the facts behind the scenes of the game. Love the jerseys, and old tickets . The Lambordi trophy was my fav; so cool to see it; but pay close attention when you go around the corner of the Super Bowl section .... cuz there it is on the right side ... it's actually easy to miss. The head busts are pretty cool. Love to see the detail of the players faces/ heads. Staff are nice and informative. Very good information .

Yelp
This is a review of the Hall of Fame proper and nothing related to the village. And this review is through the experience of a single male with no kids. I visited on the day of the Veteran's Expo as a veteran. If you are a fan of the NFL this is a must visit, and if you want to know more about the history of football and the NFL then you'll really enjoy the HOF. The variety helped me stay engaged and have fun learning. Throughout the exhibits there were interactive screens with brief videos you can select from. I really liked the one where I could pretend to be a referee watching videos of actual replays and make the call. I put my hand in molds of three quarterbacks' hands on a football. I watched brief videos of memorable endings--some I wish I could forget, ha! I heard a live 20 minute presentation on the history of helmets. There were 3 other live presentations in the morning. I watched an 8 minute movie of a review of moments from the 2022-2023 NFL season. I really loved the "A Game for Life" Theater. The set is unbelievable. The benches you sit on shake. The audio is amazing. A hologram of Joe Namath gives a motivational presentation on how the game of football can inspire players and fans to live a meaningful life. I spent about 4 hours in the HOF. I didn't visit the cafe.

Yelp
We stopped here to visit on Saturday the 14th of October, it was a must see visit as we were in town to watch the Niners play at the Browns on Sunday the 15th. Well worth the visit, it didn't disappoint. The layout is huge and their tributes to players is amazing. It's basically 2 floors. First floor has the entrance and ticket booth where you check in, and the store to the right, near the restrooms. To the left you enter the first floor exhibits and there's just wall to wall cool stuff. They have insane amounts of donated stuff from players from actual games, notes players wrote in some cases prepping for games, motivation stuff, etc. They have a challenge thing where you put the headset on, watch the play, then select if it's the right call on a challenge like they do now in games. There's the room with the busts upstairs, it's honestly a mesmerizing sight. It's a darker room with each bust lit up, some of them are so amazing with how accurate they look. They have all the busts done by the year the guys went in. Once you leave the busts section, you go to the locker room where they have this really cool 3D show Joe Namath narrates in a locker room where you sit. It's such an awesome experience through and through.

Yelp
I'm not a huge football fan, but my partner is so we drove an hour to come see this place. And it was actually fun! There's a lot of cool stuff to see, interactive games, videos, etc. The staff are all super friendly. I highly recommend attending one of the presentations. We saw the ones about defunct teams and won football cards as a prize for answering questions! My partner is a huge football fan but still learned a lot of cool things about the history of football that he didn't know! Overall, a super fun experience.
google avatar

Andrew R.

Yelp
The workers there are my best friends. They're really nice. They know what they're doing what time I brought a football in there. I don't remember. I think his name was either Timothy or Jim and he was trying to smack the football from me and he was talking to me about it like What like the coach is the football player shot to smack it all their hands and make sure that they are holding it good

Yelp
Today we took the hour drive from Cleveland to visit the Pro Football Hall of fame and we are glad we did! It was so much more than we expected. Around every corner we thought it was done but we were surprisingly welcome with more!

Yelp
The whole purpose of our visit to Ohio was to come to the Football HoF. Most importantly, to see a former coach and player get inducted. Football fans, if there is one thing you need to absolutely do when your favorite player is inducted, come and witness it for yourself. But for goodness sakes, don't take out a loan on your house just to get 10k so you can pay to get autographs. Just don't! We bought a package that included the induction (two years because of covid) and a one day entrance for the HoF. It's was 3 fun filled days here. It's was heaven. The first day was spent in the HoF. Looking through all the memorabilia and history. Walking through the HoF gallery where the Busts are is truly an awesome experience (for a football junkie). Spend two hours in the gift shop alone. I sure did! The second and third days were spent in the Tom Benson HoF Stadium. The package included food and drinks. It does get packed during Enshrinement weekend, just be aware of that.

Mark A.

Yelp
It's worth a visit for any football fan. The admission fee, per person, is very high, in my opinion. And, I would have liked to see more books for sale in the gift shop about the history of the league. There were some, but not many. I also REALLY don't like having to create an online account just to buy tickets. We really don't need ANOTHER account out there, for a place that we probably won't be visiting again any time soon. So now we need to figure out how to delete that account, which is annoying. Despite all that, though, it's a nice facility with a lot to see for any football fan, and very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Yelp
Son and I visited on July 4 as part of our summer vacation trip. We were both really excited about coming, since we're both huge football fans. Upon entering we were greeted by a volunteer who explained all levels of the museum (they also give you a map). I really enjoyed the history that was shown throughout the hall. I thought both movies that were shown were also well done. Of course the highlight was the bust room. Lots of short videos (accessed by button push) are also a nice addition to the displays and give further insight about the various eras. After finishing the tour (it took us about 3 hours), both my son and I agreed it was very cool, but we honestly expected more. I'd like to see a bit more memorabilia displayed. Team specific highlight/history videos would also be a nice addition. Obviously a place every football fan needs to attend, but it most likely will leave you wanting more.

Yelp
My wife and I visited the HOF on 08/11/25 and purchased the "insiders tour" tickets. We are both long time football enthusiast's. Our docent was Fred Cook. Fred stated the tour was typically 60 to 90 minutes long. Fred was personable and very knowledgeable, keeping are small group of 4 engaged encouraging questions along our tour. After 115 minutes or so, in which Fred made sure he wasn't keeping anyone, we wrapped up and thank Fred for his knowledge, passion and commitment to the HOF. He volunteers his time! To make the day ever better, we went to the cafe, reasonably priced, and met Fred's lovely wife, also a volunteer taking their break. After his wife had to get back to "work", he joined us and for the next 30 minutes or so, we learned about Fred's family as he regaled us with stories about HOF players. While we found the HOF store to be a little pricy, 80$ for a polo, 40$ for a T-shirt, we walked out with a 6$ can koozie. However, Fred made the entire experience beyond our expectation's. His knowledge, passion, and genuine demeanor, make him a valuable asset to the HOF! He should be rewarded, maybe a little something to add to the Steelers man cave at home! The Smith's - Mi.

Yelp
My last visit was in 1985 when Roger Staubauch was inducted so it's been a minute. Reese St wore his Washington gear, Joanna her Packers gear and me with my Panthers gear so we were representing. If you have a team connection, wear you gear and you will certainly see other fans doing likewise. The Staff here is AMAZING, especially Dave! They are all volunteers and they do such a great job. They all some knowledge mixed with humor to make it a great experience. I especially like the area where they have the busts of the inductees. They allow photos everywhere except in the theater areas. They have a dedicated surface parking lot which is FREE! I paid my respects to Sam Mills, Kevin Greene, Reggie White & Bill Polian. The gift shop is HUGE. It's dominated by just a few teams like the Packers, Cowboys and Steelers. IF you are a Panthers fan, you'll be disappointed. I get it though. Panthers have been to the SB twice and lost both times. Sadly, you can have an undefeated regular season and make it to the Super Bowl but if you lose, no one but real fans will remember. Thank you jake Delhomme, Steve Smith and Cam Newton.

Yelp
Well this was not what I was expecting! Motivational, inspiring, beautiful. Football lovers from all around the USA wearing their colors and standing in solidarity! I could stay here all day and at times I may have gotten a watery eye or two taking in these stories of transcendence. A nice HOF dude told me a lot about the Hall of Fame ring and I was absolutely fascinated by everything I saw...maybe Ronde will let me see his ring when I return to Tampa?...lol! BTW, that Chicken Caprese wrap was fucking fire- yum. My only lament is that I didn't have time to make it to Shula's for a bite (the rave reviews did not go unnoticed). I made the journey to salute Ronde Barbers' induction; fresh on the mind as the ceremony was at the last home BUCS game. I seriously can't even stand museums but the interactive displays and smell of pigskin, hotdogs, and history made the experience unforgettable!

Yelp
My husband planned a trip to Ohio for us after visiting family in Western Pennsylvania. His first stop on the trip was the Pro Football Hall of Fame. What a great choice it was. We arrived around 9:30 in the morning and were able to see everything pretty easily without too many crowds. Upon arrival, they take a professional picture of your group and offer a photo package for you to buy when you leave. We loved ours and bought the package for $45. The price of admission is also about $45 per person. The initial room on the 1st floor takes you through the various decades of people who played football, with plenty of information, jersey and helmet displays, and photo opportunities. The hall of fame gallery with busts of the 300 hall of fame members is on the second floor. There is also a ring display. The second floor also contains a theatre with a wonderful show narrated by Joe Namath. We loved it. The ground floor has more recent displays of more recent superbowls and more recent players. The lower level also has a cafe where we had lunch. We absolutely loved this place and are so glad we came to visit. The facility is staffed by many volunteers who were all very helpful and informative, as well as friendly. There is also a gift shop with plenty of things to buy. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Visited in mid July 2024. Family of 4. Found a discount for $4 (see picture). They always have military discounts, but senior and kid discounts only on certain days. See HOF website. Parking is free. It is self guided and I would set aside 2-3 hours. The Hall of Fame Village isn't a great experience, but there are food places if you are hungry after your visit. We ate at the pizza spot and it was good. The website in picture also has discounts for places in the HOF village and surrounding.

Yelp
Put this on your bucket list if you're ever in Northeast Ohio -- it's definitely worth the trip! I visited on a Monday morning and the museum was not very crowded on the day of my visit; however, museum staff informed me that larger crowds are typically anticipated on Mondays when the Cleveland Browns have a home game. You might have sticker shock at the price of admission (around $40), but it's well worth the money. I also opted to add a guided docent tour that morning, and the docent provided a unique perspective on both the items that were in the Hall of Fame as well as stories of former players and Hall of Fame inductees who had visited Canton. If you're limited on time in the museum, be sure to stop by the gallery to view the bust of every inductee and the Super Bowl gallery to see the actual Lombardi (Super Bowl) trophy for the upcoming football season.

Yelp
Very cool experience and so much to see. It is an interactive space with videos and things you can touch or play around with like a referee review booth where you can decide how to call a close play. The shows in the two theaters were captivating. They also have a high level service. They employees were so friendly and pointed out the things we should look at based on our favorite team. They even had a virtual docent before you enter the bust hall. Everyone was just so noticeably helpful throughout the whole experience and I think that made the day even better.

Yelp
If you're not a fan of pro football you can skip it. If you are a fan of pro football, which I am, then the Pro Football Hall of Fame in is a must. We were visiting friends in the Akron area and took the half-hour trip to Canton to see the shrine. The exhibits start with a deep dive into the history of pro football. From the early days of the AFL and NFL to the merger that brought the two together and turned into what has become a billion dollar sports juggernaut. There are plenty of exhibits with a ton of informative and truly interesting facts. The museum also features a good number of inter-active exhibits. The theater that spins 180 degrees while recapping the most recent Super Bowl was gimmicky, but cool. The sound system was incredible. There is memorabilia everywhere. Really cool stuff to look at and take in. The Super Bowl ring display is incredible. Those rings! Holy shit! I've been a Seahawks fan since their inception in 1976 when I was just a wee lad living in northeastern Washington state. It was really cool to see the room with all of the bronze busts. It was fun to see the busts of my childhood heroes. The career Seahawks who have been enshrined. Jim Zorn, Steve Largent, Kenny Easley, Walter Jones and Cortez Kennedy. If you're a fan of football you gotta' see the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Yelp
How can't I give it a 5 star rating? It's a one of a kind, can't compare it to another NFL Hall of Fame. It's not as large as you may expect but they do a good job of displaying a lot of cool NFL History. The employees are friendly and helpful. If you go make sure to visit the locker room, it's hosted by Joe Namath and you have to go to the theater that plays highlights from the most recent Super Bowl. If you are just passing through Canton, set aside 1 hour, 2 at the most. It's not an all day event, but a must see for even just a casual NFL Fan or anyone that likes history.

Yelp
I went to the HOF because my husband LOVES football. I don't know much about the sport, so I was just expecting to be a supportive wife. But, you know what? I LOVED it. It is super cool, and the town is great, too.

Yelp
Big museum. They've done a nice job of being a museum that's more than just memorabilia. Good demonstrative videos and the like. I really liked the presentation in a darkened locker room with Joe Namath talking about some of the greats featured in that locker room. Also liked the exhibition about the history of small black college football programs. A little something for everyone here. Worth the trip.

Yelp
We had a great time! Even though I'm not an avid fan, I found this informative and fun. I love all the interaction and displays. I was a little disappointed that the cafe closed at 4 - I was so thirsty!!! There is a water fountain near the restrooms. The store was huge. Lots of fun.

Yelp
My brother and his friend wanted to go to the Hall of Fame and they loved it. I'm not a sports fan but I enjoyed my experience there.

Yelp
My hubby and I came to the Pro Football Hall of Fame last week. The museum itself is in a complex right off of the freeway. They have a parking lot (with no other parking nearby), but they charge you $10 to park. I knocked off a star for that because I think that's a bit unfair to charge parking when there is no where else to park. Plus you have to pay for admission. Anyways, they say it takes 3 hours to go through, but we did it in about 1.5 hours. There are a lot of cool artifacts and memorabilia to check out. I do like that the museum is consistently updated (they had items from football games that were just playing in January 2022). My hubby and I love football so we enjoyed the museum overall!

Yelp
Pro football! Need I say more? My wife and I had a great time at the Hall of Fame. Their volunteers are great with tons of knowledge. Lots to see for everyone even if football isn't your obsession.

Yelp
If you're a fan of this sport, and it doesn't matter if you only follow high school or college football - the Pro Football Hall of Fame is a mandatory visit for you. Driving down and first impressions - It's one long speed trap driving here from Cleveland but once you get here, you'll find a huge parking lot, a football field (darn, I should have brought my William Perry/Da Fridge signed football), and a welcoming and safe staff - we received at least a 10 minute greeting from one of the curators. We learned that they change stuff up periodically and since the last time I was here was 2002, I didn't recognize any of the exhibits. So do plan to come back because it was really all new to me. You'll go down memory lane and learn about the history of the sport and the league. Ahem, for this visit, let's put our differences aside, I loved all of the Packers exhibits...wait, did I just say that?! Similar to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, the exhibits are clustered in chronological order, here and there - and that's helpful for both casual and serious fans. I don't want to share too much but there's a quick film on the NFL's core beliefs and values and I got a little misty eyed. Football is such a wonderful sport and the NFL has had such a positive impact on society, I'm confident that they'll continue to improve in the area of player safety. Speaking of Safety - you'll get touch pens so you don't have to actually touch any buttons, everyone's wearing a mask, social distancing is quite easy (we got there early though), I believe they took our temperature when we first walked in. The restrooms were incredibly clean. I would plan a good 2 to 3.5 hours for this visit and there are plenty of dining and drinking options close by, which I planned through Yelp. This is my last review for 2020 and Go Bears (my favorite team of all time), Brady (GOAT), Browns (I love their can do attitude), Clemson (Trevor), Cowboys (America's team), Vikings (my first favorite team), Steelers (so many rings) and yes...the Packers (for teaching us perpetual humility)!!

Yelp
The Football HOF is everything you can ever imagine. From the outside you know it's a huge complex. But when your inside it feels so much more bigger. Spending 3hrs and more is sooo easy to do. All the displays whether it was videos or interactive was a blast to see and be apart of. The best part of the HOF is and will always be, seeing the HOF bust. Nothing can prepare you when you turn the corner and you see the HOF wall. Wow!!!

Yelp
Absolutely loved this museum. My husband wanted to go and I was iffy. I even though about dropping him off and going back to the hotel to hang out while he visited but once in the lobby decided to purchase my ticket and accompany him on the journey. SO GLAD I DID. IT WAS FANTASTIC. I love football and am a player fan. Watching the teams that have one of my favorite players, from Peyton Manning to Teddy Bridgewater to Lamar Jackson to Drew Brees and beyond. The museum is well laid out with a map provided at the entrance. It was easy to navigate and we didn't miss a single display. I think it says allot 2 or more hours to see the entire museum. I say 4 hours. That is how long we were there. Highlights for me were the busts, the rings and the movie with Joe Namath's hologram as the narrator. It was so inspiring and uplifting for kids especially but my husband and I were both in tears. The beginning of the tour was a collection of photos taken of pro players doing what they do, create special monents in sports history. They were so cool to see from on field action shots to locker room dejection. If you love football this is a must see. Highly recommend. My only complaint is they charge an additional $10 for parking. When the parking lot clearly belongs to the establishment. Thought that was a rip off. Especailly when paying $30 per person admission.

Yelp
Didn't expect much in Ohio, and I expected not to really enjoy this place... since I'm not much of a football fan. However, there is so much history and so much to learn here! Glad I had the opportunity to check it out in Akron. I purchased my photos from when I came in online after I left (much cheaper!). Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Calling all football lovers! You must make a trip here if you have any interest in the game of football. The museum is not huge, but it took use several hours to get through and see all of the exhibits. I learned a ton about the history of the sport and how Canton, OH was the birthplace of pro football. You would not believe the original equipment they wore! Our favorites were seeing the Super Bowl rings and the Lombardi trophy. Be sure to check out the 'Road to the Super Bowl" film. It was cool hearing all the smack talking the players do throughout the game. The cafe is currently closed, but the gift shop was open and it does not disappoint. If you never knew you needed a Baker Mayfield bobblehead, this store will make you realize it.

Yelp
An amazing experience. What an evolutionary sport. Hard to believe they once played this game without protective gear especially a helmet. So much to see. Be sure to allow 3-4 hours to get through every thing. Great place to take out of town guests. GO BEARS!!!

Yelp
Visited the pro football hall of fame about 10 years ago this fall. As any other nfl fanfic I was a kid in a candy store. Most of my photos attached are probably dated and I'm sure the place looks different. You will also notice im a huge browns fan from The photos. The place was huge and filled with history. It is a must visit for any fan of the game or fan of history. Very nostalgic being reminded of the guys I watched played from my youth. A buddy of mine (Steelers fan) may make the trip form Louisville here soon to revisit the place here soon. Upon doing that I will have updated photos and maybe an updated review. My only knock on the place was I remember it being super expensive and not much interactive setups (even not much for its time frame in 2010). I'm interested to see if that has changed at all. Overall I feel like the pro football hall of fame has a target audience in which I obviously fall under. So if you fall in that audience it is definitely worth spending a day or afternoon checking this place out.

Yelp
It's the NFL Hall of Fame, if you love football, it's a must visit. Just check if they have any events planned when you visit as parking can be an issue. They are in the process of creating an entire shopping complex as well. The Hall of Fame itself is amazing and the exhibits are incredible. I just wish it were a little bigger since the NFL has now been around for over 100 years, there's so much more history they can include. It's great for families as well. The gift shop is good but kind of pricey. They have a small cafe but wish it were bigger. Overall a great visit to one of the landmarks of American professional football that you should visit at least once if you like American football at all.

Yelp
Vacation road trip from Philly, but I'm a Cowboys fan, around the Great Lakes hitting stops at major cities and attractions. This was one of the cities \ attractions. If you love football, this is a must stop for you. The history, stories, and archives of past and present players is incredible. We loved every minute but take your time walking through and reading the history, how it all evolved. My kids call me a "Boomer" but I'm proud of that, talking about some of the games I've seen in football history was fun, at least I thought so. The HOF was clean and very friendly staff, willing to answer any question you have. You must visit if you are in the area.

Yelp
As a fan of the New York Jets it helps to bear in mind that they last won a Super Bowl before man actually walked on the moon and, although I've technically been to innumerable NFL games, as a fan of Gang Green... or is it gangrene... I've never actually witnessed "professional" football in person. So, the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton was a bit of a revelation. Excellence around every corner and multi-media exhibits that more than justify the substantial investment in tickets and parking. You could have purchased four tickets to Joe Namath's AFL coming out party in Super Bowl III just for the price of a single HOF admission and a parking space for your rental. But why quibble, even as a casual fan you'll probably be fascinated by the history of the real American Pastime even if you've only vaguely heard of some of the leather helmeted pioneers preserved in amber. Truly, a day well spent. And remember in modern NFL fashion, all exits funnel through the gift shop so bring your credit card. Five stars for being a one of a kind experience and taking my mind off the Jets.

Yelp
The Pro Football Hall of Fame did such an amazing job with this place. And rightfully so because of how popular football is in America. I will say that I was NOT impressed at all by the appearance on the outside. But once I parked and started walking inside, I couldn't stop smiling! The excitement took over. ARRIVING: I came during the week and there was hardly anyone inside touring the facility. As I walked in to pay the lady at the front desk was SUPER friendly and very detailed about what to do and where to go. Then they snapped from pictures of me and off I went into the facility. Inside is where you also pay for parking. FOOTBALL CARDS: You start by going through a room with a ton of football cards. I found this room interesting because I learned how they determine the quality of the card. I spent about 20 minutes in this section alone. HISTORY AREAS: Then you walk up a long hallway and this is where the football history begins. You walk around in a circular fashion and read and learn about how football has progressed over the decades. At each section there is also a video to watch about each decade/era. This area also includes some interactive things like a play review booth, you can try on a helmet, see how big you are compared to real-life player, and you can try on football pads. This part of the Hall of Fame is 2 floors and I spent about 30 minutes on each floor. HALL OF FAME AREA: Then you museum takes you down a hall way and around the corner to all the statues of the players that are in the hall of fame. Such a great room! The lighting and displays in this area are truly special. You really feel like you are entering into a sacred area. When you take a step back and look around you realize there are not many players in the hall of fame. I think this made me appreciate all the player that are in the hall of fame a little more. You can also see where the room can expand and it looks like in about another 10-12 years they may run out of space. I am sure they have a plan in place for continued growth. There is also an interactive screen that lets you look for and find any player that is inducted into the hall of fame. It also plays some video clips highlighting the player. I spent about 30-40 minutes in this room. LOCKER ROOM: Once you leave the hall of fame area you can go and watch a 10 minute video in a separate viewing room. I HIGHLY recommend going to watch this video. If you want to know what it's about, you you have to go! No spoilers here. HALL OF FANS: Next you move to hall dedicated to enshrining the most dedicated fans in the country. This area seemed new and is used as a way to show appreciation for the fans. I spent about 5 min here. CURRENT PLAYERS: Then you transition to an area that highlights some of the current players in the NFL. It also has game balls, jerseys, cleats, etc. This was a nice space too. I could have spent more time here, but it was getting close to closing time so I had to speed things up. I spent about 15 minutes here but could have used 30 minutes. TROPHY ROOM: Next you head down another hallway that highlights and summarizes keys teams and event for each decade. This hallway also leads you to a large room that has the Vince Lombardi Trophy on display in a huge glass case. They also made this room feel really special. I was about 6 inches and a piece of glass away from touching it! I spent about 5-7 minutes in the trophy room. 360 VIDEO: Next there was another video playing in a stadium seating type room. As the video goes the room seats spin in a circle. If you're short on time I would recommend skipping this. I think this video was here to prepare you for the next exhibit. It was a 10 minute video that showed some SB highlights. RINGS: Once you leave this video there is large glass case that holds 1 SB rings for each year. At this point I was really pressed for time. I could have spent an easy 20 minutes looking at each ring for each SB team. Instead I looked for all the Cowboys rings, snapped some pictures, then moved on. PRO SHOP: OMG!! The pro shop is one of the largest I've been in. There is a generous section for each NFL team (YES, all 32!). At this point I had about 20 minutes before the museum was closing. I headed straight to the Dallas Cowboys section and just started grabbing everything in sight. I already own plenty of Cowboys gear, but there was definitely some unique things that I had not seen before.I ended up dropping a several hundred dollars, but do not regret a single item I bought. LAST STOP: The last stop was the touristy photo area (pics they take of you when you first arrive). I normally don't buy these photo, but hey, when in Rome. I went over to hear the pitch and see how much it was. I was surprised at how inexpensive the package was. Sooooo, I ended up buying the largest package they had. MISSED AREAS: I missed some but not much. New record. . . I am running over da YELP character count. Overall: JUST GO!

Yelp
PROS: This is the reason for why I went to Canton to begin with. It was great seeing the history behind the NFL, even the teams that are no longer playing. They had everything ranging from bust, jerseys, contracts, field memorabilia, signed pictures, used merchandise, and a HUGE gift shop to back everything up CONS: It took us maybe 1.5 hours to go through everything despite them saying it takes 3 hours. So I was a little disappointed in how little there was. Don't get me wrong, there was a good amount, just not as much as I thought OVERALL: If you're a true NFL fan and you have the ability to come here...DO IT! No matter what team you like whether its as old as the Bears or as new as the Texans you will like something

Yelp
The museum was a lot bigger than I had expected and took around 3 hours to complete. The complete history of professional football and tributes to some of the best players was done beautifully. The museum has a great layout that totally immerses you in the historical periods of the game. Staff was amazing and knew their stuff when asked a question. Would definitely come back to experience this again.
