Probar el Buen Bar

A great bar with fantastic food and friendly staff. I got in early and was lucky to get a space at the bar. The local red wine was delicious and very good value for money. Food wise I loved everything I tried, delicious boquerones, tasty croquetas and my favourite dish was probably the Torreznos. The complimentary mixed olives were also some of the best I've had A must visit if you're in Alicante

Wonderful Tapas restaurant with a lively atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic service and delicious food. We had booked for 8pm when it opens and it filled very quickly so recommend booking in advance. The restaurant is a lot bigger than images I've seen and there's plenty of seating. Highly recommend.

This is my favorite type of food: simple, well tought, tastefull. Probar always surprises me even though their style roots in the popular Spanish food. You can't skip the ensaladilla russa and the croquetes, of course. As they constantly brin in new recipes, consult with the staff for suggestions.

Definitely a place to come back in Alicante. For me a restaurant is much more then just food, it’s also good service, polite staff and ambience. Probar has everything. Los Callos and the cheesecake are a must have. See you soon!

Speechless how good the food is! We had the tomato Salad for starter and the bread omg I can’t even describe how good it was we ordered 2 more bread after! Then the mains, I had the garlic shrimp wow!!! The sauce the flavour! My partner had the oxtail lasagne even more wow!!! I had to betray the vegetarian community and had a bite because it looked and tasted incredible!!! Lastly we had the potato omelette. Where did the sweetness come from?! And the desserts are just to die foooor!

We went with a voucher from 'la vida es bella' which included 4 tapas and a dessert to share, and 2 drinks per person. The selection was lovely and they were accommodating and asked for allergies etc. The tapas we had were all very special, with a unique touch and beautifully cooked and presented. They gave us a shot to end the meal as a treat too, a typical Spanish tradition that I thought had died! So we left very happy and would love to return to try new dishes. Thanks for a locely experience!

I enjoyed the atmosphere, it was really cozy. The staff was friendly and the food was tasty. We ordered tapas and the amount of food was ok.
