The hotel is located in the very center of the old town. It had a nice historic feel to it and was within a very short walk to many shops and restaurants. The hotel was avery well run with a wonderful staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel had a great breakfast with many choices for everyone including those with dietary restrictions. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The hotel had no irritating smells for those with allergies.

A hotel that has everything you need for a pleasant stay in Kalmar. My sister and I stayed here to explore Kalmar and Öland.||||Great breakfast buffet with plenty of alternatives for those with dietary restrictions.

Very central location in a very walkable city. Housed in a series of older buildings, The overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming, a mixture of vintage feel with modern touches.The room and bathroom were rather small, but OK for two nights. Comfy beds, very good breakfast and dinner.

Slightly worn wallpaper above the bed, some damaged tiles in the bathroom, no air conditioning in the room, expensive parking compared to street parking, the spa could definitely have had stricter rules regarding keeping voices low, the breakfast area floor needed a deep cleaning, the breakfast staff performed many ergonomically poor lifts, there was only one elevator and it was quite small and slow, the price for the stay was fairly high, worn and non-soundproof windows facing the square, the breakfast setup for food and drinks could have been better organized, but the staff was very friendly.

Relaxing Spa experience in the center of Kalmar. We came to have a few days without children and the hotel full filled everything you could expect to the price of the stay. Quality service, Highly recommendable breakfast served in relaxing areas. Don't forget to visit the Scottish bar in the hotel.

Fantastic atmosphere in an old house carefully moderniced, lovely and helpful personal, delicious breakfast with a lot of different both drink, sweet and healthy food and well prepared. The rooms are very quiet placed although the hotel is in the middel of the old town. Relaxing and wonderful spa.

The ProfilHotel Calmar Stadshotell was exceptional, the rooms were spotless, the staff friendly and breakfast and dinner was tasty with many options. Our waitstaff was particularly notable in outstanding service. Alicea provided some of the best service we have ever received. She gave us plenty of time to settle in with a beverage and then leisurely order, she was friendly, helpful and very attentive without being overly so. We want to thank her for giving us such a favorable opinion of dinner and the hotel. We highly recommend and will be back!

We stayed one night with dogs and a had a small and comfortable room in this beutiful hotel in the centre of Calmar One of the best hotels if you are travelling with dogs to stay. Staff was excellent
