This establishment is a gem. A stray away from the traditional French cuisine you’re advertised when visiting, but that is just what I was in search of when I discovered it on the tail end of my trip.
The owner is kind and very passionate about his craft. It reflects in the quality of the food offered and in his descriptions. Just take a moment to talk to him about his story, you’d be surprised. He has managed to recreate an experience from another culture here in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. And it’s successful. Just take a look at the reviews.
I myself purchased a sandwich, sausage rolls, and a pastry. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors, the sauces, and how delicious everything was when I managed to my flat. I’m from the USA where British cuisine has a bad rep, but they couldn’t have experienced it like this! Also reasonably priced. I do plan to stop by on my way out of town. Highly recommend if you get a chance as well.
Only took one star off of the “atmosphere” category due to limited seating. But I hope you’re able to expand one day!
