We stopped by Project Seoul on Spadina and tried the strawberry matcha and lavender matcha, and both were so good! The drinks were super aesthetic — the kind you have to take a photo of — and the flavours were really well-balanced. The strawberry matcha was refreshing and slightly sweet, with that perfect mix of fruity and earthy matcha taste. The lavender matcha, on the other hand, was smooth, floral, and calming — such a nice twist on the usual matcha latte. You can tell they use good-quality matcha and put care into how they make everything. The café itself is really cute and cozy, with clean minimalist décor and that soft K-café vibe. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere made it such a relaxing stop. Definitely one of my favourite matcha spots in Toronto so far — can’t wait to go back and try more flavours! 🍓💜🍵

A very cute coffee shop with a relaxed, welcoming vibe. There is plenty of seating, which makes it a comfortable place to sit for a while, and the view overlooking Spadina is a nice bonus. Service was friendly and efficient. I tried the injeolmi croffle and really enjoyed it. Crisp on the outside, soft inside, and nicely balanced without being overly sweet. Overall, a pleasant spot to grab a coffee and a treat, whether you are stopping in briefly or settling in for a bit.

Gorgeous upper floor cafe! Lots of students and young professionals getting work done. The atmosphere was cozy and productive - so might be better as a cafe for getting work done rather than for catching up with friends. From the outside, Project Seoul looks deceptively small, but it actually has quite a lot of seating, with a variety of arrangements and group sizes - although I wouldn't recommend anything more than 3-4 people. Staff also offer free dalgona for anyone who leaves a Google Review!

Beautiful, spacious, and cozy café. Perfect for studying, working, reading, or just enjoying a good matcha with friends. They serve a variety of drinks, pastries, and desserts, and the staff is super friendly 💕. I noticed many people ordering matcha (definitely on my list for next time 👀). For today, I went with a cappuccino and a matcha pistachio croissant… and it was absolutely delicious! 💚

I visited Project Seoul on Spadina and absolutely love it. The airy vibe and aesthetic really stand out, it feels modern but cozy. The coffee was good, and the Brown Cheese Croffle with ice cream was delicious. Washrooms are clean and nicely designed, which is always a bonus. There’s plenty of seating, with some spots having access to outlets if you want to work. My favorite area was by the balcony windows, there’s some greenery there (might be fake) but it still adds to the vibe. Perfect place to chill on a weekend. It does get busy, so best to come a little earlier.

This is located on the second floor of another restaurant and it’s easy to miss the signboard that says it’s on the second floor. We climbed the stairs and we were surprised to see so much seating capacity inside the cafe. And the place was packed on a sunday evening! The barista was really friendly and sweet - I ordered a mango matcha iced latte with less ice and he made sure it had less ice and more of the drink lol! It was my first time trying mango matcha and I was happy with the taste but I think I prefer strawberry or regular matcha over mango. Just my preference. They also had a variety of desserts like basque cheesecake, orange cake and so many more items that looked so delicious but I was full so didn’t give them a try. Maybe next time!

Downright my favourite place now for studying and doing work! Upon stepping inside, this cafe has tremendous amounts of space! There are seats for groups and seats dedicated for people coming here alone or for 1-2 people, and theres accommodating power outlets near each one too! You can find the WiFi on the front counter when you order. The overall vibe of the place is very calm and clean, with a beautiful plant/nature-life aesthetic is has going for it. The food and drinks were also very delicious, when you order you receive a buzzer to let you know when the order is ready. Overall great cafe, will be going here more often.

Project Seoul was so great! We got the strawberry and mango Bingsu, a sort of creamy shaved ice. They were creamy, cold, fresh, and sweet. They came with fresh fruit and ice cream, which was a great touch. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was cozy and warm, and the food was delicious. I’d highly recommend!

Yelp
The inside of this cafe is a lot bigger than I expected! The space feels really open with tons of natural light. When I visited they had a cute Christmas tree up and light Christmas jazz playing which set a super cozy atmosphere. There's a lot of seating and when I arrived around 1 PM on a Sunday it was maybe half-full. By 2 PM though it got really crowded and most of the seats were taken. This is definitely a popular study/work spot as I saw a bunch of people on their laptops. Just a heads-up though, there is a 2-hour seating limit on weekends, so plan accordingly. They had a nice display of pastries and cakes, but I ended up getting one of their drinks. I tried the sweet corn latte (less sweet). I'd rate the drink 7/10, the sweet corn flavor wasn't too strong and the latte felt a little bit watery. I think I was expecting something closer to the creamier SooSoo latte style, where you get the sweet corn cream topping. Here, the corn sits at the bottom and the drink is lighter overall without the cream top. I did notice a lot of people ordering their matcha lattes, and they have some fun flavours like blueberry, banana, etc. So I'd come back to try one of those next time and perhaps do some work there as well.

Yelp
Project Seoul is one of the best workspace cafes in the city. Located on the second floor off of Spadina, they have a front to back facing space along the whole building. The front has bar seating facing the street down below while the back has a small balcony area and the place just flows with energy and fresh air. There are tons of individual or 2 people seating (with bigger tables reserved for 3-4 people to share) that has to seat at least 60+ people. Most of the patrons are there to chat/meetup or working on their laptops. The music is a nice ambient level and when the place gets busy near lunch or the after work/school rush, you won't be hearing your neighbor much anyway. They have some plugs available (maybe 20ish outlets, nearer to the front), but those seat are normally held down by the regulars, so get there early or come with a power bank. Their free wifi is great, no issues and you get the sense that people are there to work, no drama, just do your thing too. Their drinks were great, the sparkling nades and lattes are pretty spot on, they are tailored more to the Asian flavor tastes. Like corn and match lattes, etc. My go-to cafe to get work done. Have a look and see if you enjoy the vibes.

Yelp
What a hidden gem. you would not know it until you get to the 2nd floor! It's so nondescript from the outside street level you would miss it. Once you get upstairs it's huge from end to end and I think there's a patio at the back. Super busy on a Sunday afternoon with lots of students (?) all working on their laptops. It's got good lighting. Clean. 100% like cafes in Korea. This one is very minimalist but still got good vibes. And they offer all kinds of hot and cold drinks and snacks like slices of cake and cookies. Like a typical coffee house.

Yelp
Project Seoul is a new Korean coffee shop located along Spadina near Baldwin St., near Kensington Market. It is located on the 2nd floor above a Korean BBQ shop where there are a sit of stairs to navigate (not fully accessible). The aesthetic of the place is calm and relaxing where there are hints of green and wood throughout. The coffee shop has plenty of seating available where it is the perfect place to do some work or hang out with some friends. The menu has both caffeinated or and non-caffeinated beverage options, baked goods (cookies, croissants, cakes, etc.), as well as bingsu (Korean shaved ice). They do open later in the morning but close late at night. I stopped by Project Seoul after seeing the place on Instagram on Thursday morning a few minutes after the shop opened. The place is popular as more and more people started showing up. I opted to grab a cappuccino as well as matcha financier. Staff provided me with a buzzer to notify me when my order would be ready (which took about 5 min). I picked up my order at the counter and sat down. The atmosphere of the space is super relaxing. The hints of green and wood bring the indoors inside. The plants fill the space which creates an inviting and welcoming place. There are also cute framed prints all over the coffee shop as well. Coffee wise, my cappuccino was okay. Not the best I've had but not the worst either. The matcha financier didn't have much of a matcha taste. I'd be curious to try the bingsu and matcha drinks next time. Definitely do love the ambiance of the place - a perfect place to work or get together with friends!

Yelp
I am a huge lover of cafe workspaces and Project Seoul hits off all of my wants. It's a beautiful space with LOTS of seating. I can definitely see myself working here lots and there are spots with outlets as well. Additional they have free wifi which isn't always the case for some cafes. It does feel like it's been designed as a nice workspace. I got the hazelnut latte which was a bit sweet for me, but the size was good and price is comparable to something you'd get at Starbucks. Service was quick and easy as well. Definitely a great work space and just as lovely of a hangout/coffee date place as well.

Yelp
My friend and I came here yesterday and we enjoy it. It was super super packed when we got there but lucky we were able to get a seat on the patio. They have lots of seats and 3 smaller tables on the patio. We got the mango bingsu, blueberry cake, hazelnut iced latte & pear tea. I really liked the apple mango bingsu and the latte. I think the tea could have been a bit sweet but it was still really good. I wish the cake was a bit more moist and fluffy but other than that it was good! The staff was nice and our order was made pretty quickly every though it was busy. They're very organized because they give you a buzzer to let you know when your order is ready. They have WiFi and lots of outlet so it would be a good spot for studying as well.

Yelp
damn this place is nice wouldn't think so from outside great patio and CROFFLE is excellent

Yelp
The americano & croffle were lovely & there's a decent selection of cakes and baked goods - it's a surprisingly large space considering it's also located downtown in chinatown with an open concept * there were lots of people who were working/studying so would recommend going earlier to grab a seat - but also didn't see a lot of outlets so be warned * lots of greenery so it's a very inviting & peaceful atmosphere

Yelp
Cute cafe in chinatown Toronto. The croffle was okay, but the area was nice. Plenty of spacious seating and an outdoor patio window. The bathrooms were clean and the area was nice to chill and relax.

Yelp
This place definitely deserves the hype I've been seeing since it opened, it's great if you wanna get work done, read, catch up with friends or just enjoy some quality cafe time. Super organized, great drink selection and one of the only cafes I've been to that has cake (which I'll be back to try)!

Yelp
LOVE this place! The interior is super cute and desserts/coffee is amazing. The only downside is the constant loud beeping of the buzzers - its very annoying.
