I spent almost a week in Sicily at La Stagnone, staying at Alby Rondina Kite Resort, and it truly turned into one of the most memorable and heartwarming experiences I’ve ever had. The moment I arrived, I was embraced by a sense of warmth, kindness, and genuine connection that instantly made me feel at home. There’s something beautifully unique about this place, not just the stunning location and ideal kite conditions, but the people who bring it all to life. Sofia, Michele, Carlos and all the others - thank you all for your openness, generosity, and for creating such a welcoming atmosphere. The way everyone shares their time, energy, and smiles so effortlessly creates a feeling of community that’s hard to put into words. I came as a stranger and left feeling like part of a little family. I took 6h of kite lessons with Michele to learn how to jump, and I couldn’t have asked for a more patient, thoughtful, and encouraging instructor. His teaching style is clear and constructive, always delivered with honesty, positivity, and a calm confidence that made learning feel both exciting and achievable. Every small step forward felt like a shared success. That kind of support and attentiveness makes all the difference when you're pushing your limits. This place is a little haven of good energy, trust, fun, and real human connection. I came for the wind, but I left with new skills, beautiful memories, a deep sense of gratitude, and a full heart 🩵 Can’t wait to be back🤗

Had a second week with the team in Sicily. Booked some further sessions with Guilia, who was pleased to see me again to try to improve my upwind riding. She is very patient, calm, experienced and worked to smooth out and improve my techniques. Thank you for everything. Learnt a lot, had fun and enjoyed the tuition.

I had a great experience with the kite school Prokite Alby Rondina and felt comfortable from day one. I made steady progress and gained more confidence with each session. Special thanks to my instructor Davide – calm, competent, and very focused. His teaching style made me feel safe and helped me improve a lot. He also gave me clear and helpful feedback after each session, which really made a difference. I always felt well supported and motivated. All in all, a professional and relaxed atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend this kite school to anyone who wants to learn or improve their skills.

This hotel ruined what was supposed to be a special weekend getaway. I live in London and had planned a short trip to Sicily with my girlfriend—the only weekend we both had free. I searched for hotels in Favignana on Expedia, but the platform redirected me to listings in Marsala without making that distinction clear. I mistakenly booked ProKite Alby Rondina, thinking it was in Favignana. Just a couple of days later, once I realized the mistake, I contacted Expedia and the property to request a cancellation. The trip was still over three months away, but the hotel refused any refund. Even friends from Marsala visited the property in person to try and help resolve the issue, but the staff remained completely inflexible. With so much notice, they could have easily rebooked the room. Their lack of understanding and unwillingness to help left us frustrated and disappointed. When we ended up staying, the experience was just as poor: • Air conditioning barely worked, and there were no mosquito nets—an issue when you’re near the sea. • The rooms are dated, the bathrooms are worn, and many face an industrial mechanic’s yard, not the sea. • We requested an early breakfast so we could catch the ferry to Favignana. What we received was an afterthought: no bag, no spoon for the yoghurt—just a thrown-together excuse of a meal. This place tries to market itself as a high-end spot, but the service and facilities are below basic. Definitely not worth the money or the stress. Avoid.

I had the pleasure of taking 8 hours of kiteboarding lessons with Daniel in Italy, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Daniel is not only a skilled and knowledgeable instructor, but also someone who genuinely cares about your progress and well-being on the water. His instructions were always clear, constructive, and easy to follow. He explained both what I was doing right and what needed to be improved in a very down-to-earth and encouraging way, which made a huge difference in how quickly I progressed. You never feel overwhelmed or rushed — everything is broken down at your own pace. One of the things that really stood out to me is how seriously Daniel takes safety. It’s clearly his number one priority. He constantly checks in, especially after crashes or falls, always asking if I’m okay and if I feel comfortable continuing. That gave me a lot of confidence, especially in the early stages of learning when everything is still unfamiliar. On top of that, Daniel is simply a great guy to spend time with. He’s friendly, approachable, and has a calm and positive energy that makes the lessons fun and relaxed. He was also very flexible when it came to planning or rescheduling sessions — always working around wind conditions and my availability. If you’re thinking about taking kiteboarding lessons, I can wholeheartedly recommend Daniel. You’ll be in good hands — whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to fine-tune your skills, Daniel’s approach is exactly what you need to learn safely, efficiently, and with a smile on your face.

Great kiteboarding gem in Sicily! Good vibes and flat waters in the best kite resort in the area. Their caring and lovely team were always ready to help. Our well equipped villa was only a few steps away from the water and the fun. It was so nice to just walk out and kite. They have a huge grassy area (that grass protects your kite) for launching and landing kites with a good seating arrangement for taking a brake or just watching people ride. The kite school not only offered lessons for all levels on the easiest conditions possible, but they also offer rentals, wing lessons and paddle boarding. Thanks to the Pro kite Alby Rondina team for making our vacation so joyful. What a great experience. You guys rock!

I took classes with coach Daniel for a week, he is very professional, patient although I performed badly and made same mistakes again and again. The most important is that he always put my safety first, above other things. Thank coach Daniel and hope to have more classes with you next time. Besides, other staffs are very friendly, helpful and supportive. I definitely recommend the school to my friends. The lagoon was the best for the beginners to start learning kitesurfing. However, there were some problems with accommodation impacting our stay but when we raised the problems, the team quickly responded: - No internet but it was fixed - No hot water last 2 days but it was fixed - The bed made a lot of noise when we turned body. - The sink drainer in the kitchen was rusted then the rust dropped into our food when i washed them - No house clean during a week we were there. In other places we stayed, the room was cleaned for every 2 days

Spent two trips in Sicily over the summer, in which both times a few days were deciated to kiting. ProKite is a great place yo rent your materials and gear. Very spacious spot with nice chilling area, a bar close by and great view on sunset The crew is pretty relaxed, fun atmosphere to be around. One point of attention is teachers who have tendency to arrive late for a lesson. These are expensive classes so you expect to be on the water for 2 hours. If teacher then arrives +30 minutes late and then takes ages to get everything ready, there is not much kiting left
