Proper Gander

Me and my dad went out for dinner together and had the most amazing food! In my dad’s words “easily the best meal he’s had in the past 5 years!!” He chose the Goats cheese salad for starter and the the Seafood Pasta! I had the chorrizo starter and lamb main! it was to die for. Our waiter Ross was so lovely and really personable! Would 100% recommend 💯

Friendly atmosphere with food that you just know has been prepared with great knowledge and understanding of taste. Every dish was well cooked and presented to a high standard. Rob greeted us and looked after us throughout, as he did with others that were dining. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved this place! The food was extremely tasty and full of flavour – every dish was cooked to perfection. The decor is beautiful and creates such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very accommodating, which made the experience even better. Plus, it’s dog-friendly, which is such a bonus! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal and a relaxed, enjoyable vibe.

Booked us in last minute, family of 5 on weekday, felt very much like a family business which I liked, the waitress was lovely and was nice seeing the chef work so we could thank him. Food was really good especially the lamb rumb and mint mash, really nice, the prawn tacos were nice also. My only one thing, pina colada I think del boy, cream, cherry, umbrella, this one tasted great but was served in short glass not a long glass, by that's more probably my expectation still tasted great. Went with three kids, 12/10/4 all enjoyed the food

Pre booked and visited on a Saturday evening a couple of weeks ago for a group of 4. Had a starter and main and all of us fully enjoyed our meals. Nice relaxed atmosphere and excellent staff. Only slight criticism is that one of our party is vegan and although options are available, there is no mention of this on the menu. Overall, we had a lovely time and would certainly recommend.

Beautiful meal and the fillet steak was a melt in the mouth moment - perfect. The staff were lovely and friendly and made the whole evening special. Well worth a visit 👌

What a truly brilliant place to start our holiday! The service we received was efficient and we felt well looked after. The food was amazing especially the scallops and cheesecake! Would definitely recommend to anyone for a special occasion or even just for a meal out.
