Prosciutteria Sant Miquel

We went here two nights during our stay in Alghero and both times everything was amazing. The owner is such a nice guy that does everything with a lot of passion. The wines and the food are just extraordinary. We are super happy that we found this spot! Tip: come early because it will be full soon and there will be a line of people waiting

The food, service and atmosphere was everything you would want and more. The waiter knew what and where everything on the board was from and it was an amazing opportunity to try locally produced Sardinian food. I would love to go back again and try other items on the menu. We tried the large cheeseboard and paired it with a lovely local dry white wine 🧀🍷

Wow - Such a authentic local experience! Lovely cheese and charcuterie plate shared with some red wine. The owner is lovely by the way! He is super sweet and has an enthusiasm for what he does. I wish him and his wife the best! I can’t recommend this place enough…

The best charcuterie I’ve ever tasted. They also serve the most delicious sun dried tomatoes and artichokes. Little touches like homemade preserves to have with the cheese.. The bread is excellent, wine is great and the owner seems so lovely. Honestly this is a place I’ll dream about when I leave Sardinia. If you enjoy charcuterie it has to be experienced!

We visited Prosciutteria Sant Miquel in May 2025 and were absolutely delighted. From the moment we arrived, we didn't feel like customers but like welcomed guests. The owner greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm, making us feel right at home. His passion for food and hospitality was evident in every detail. The restaurant is run by a lovely couple who put their heart and soul into the place. The products served come from local farms, ensuring freshness and authentic flavors. Each dish was a testament to the rich culinary traditions of the region. Despite the wait for a table, it was entirely worth it. The cozy ambiance, set against the backdrop of Alghero's old town, added to the charm of the evening. We are truly grateful for the wonderful hospitality and the memorable dinner experience.
