Prospect Berkshires

We had the most amazing stay at Prospect Berkshires. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the minute we checked in until the moment we checked out. The cabin we stayed in was super cute and comfy. We chose the shared bath house option, which was very nice and well maintained. The shower and high-end soap were very refreshing. The whole facility is gorgeous. Walking around the different stone paths in autumn with breathtaking views over the lake is really something else. The food, coffee, and drinks in their restaurant The Cliff House were also top notch. I wish I stayed longer and will definitely be returning for another stay in the future. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Everything about this place was so thoughtfully designed! We loved every single moment here, and found ourselves opting to stay in more than ever before! We had a lakeside cabin and the ambience of being so close to the water, with a beautiful backdrop, and the most lavish and comfortable casita was magical ! The Lakeside private sauna was such a wonderful and relaxing experience. All staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. We wished we could stay forever! I would give this place more than five stars if I could! Thank you so much for offering this beautiful place for my soul to refresh!

Prospect is so thoughtfully curated. We went in early November and caught the last glimpse of fall. The cabins are gorgeous and peaceful, the staff is lovely, and the saunas are easy to access and readily available. We ate at cliff house once, it was delicious but I wish it was open daily.

We had such a wonderful time I'm almost afraid to post a review because the next time we go to get reservations the Prospect Berkshires cabins may be full! This is on the site of the old Prospect Lake Park. I understand the changes at Prospect Lake are difficult for some- the prior campground was an entirely different type of experience. All the staff were absolutely lovely!||1. The New Prospect Berkshires: Have brand new cabins that are very comfortable, very Scandinavian in style with both heat and air conditioning. Our granddaughter said, "it was the most comfortable bed she had ever slept in." Some cabins are lake view and some are up the hill nestled in the woods. The grounds are clean and superbly kept. There are saunas (some large saunas by the pool, and two private saunas lakeside, a lovely outdoor pool, Tai Chi classes, Yoga, kayaks, and paddle boards. Everyone had a lovely time. Be sure to avail yourselves of the coffee and grab and go breakfasts in the morning. Only suggestion is to have the coffee available earlier. ||2. The Cliff House Restaurant: We ate there twice and had superb meals all around. Would highly recommend. Some of the best prepared chicken, steak, and lamb stew we have ever had. Well worth it.

We were there celebrating our anniversary with our pup, who also had the best time! The cabins were clean and cozy, and we loved getting to enjoy all the outdoor activities. Already thinking about coming back this winter, if not next year. Hopefully the place stays just like we remember — great amenities and no crowds, that’s what made it so special! Big shoutout to Bobby and the Front Desk team for taking such good care of us!

I had the best facial the other day with Dulcinea. It was the Dermabooster Microdermabrasion & Infusion facial and my skin was glowing. The space is beautiful and the products I love. Definitely the perfect addition to your stay at the Prospect. So glad they are offering treatments

This is a great location. We had a family reunion and it was the perfect place for it. The lake, the pool, the sauna, and the staff were all 5 star. The cabins were comfortable and clean. The pool was beautiful and the perfect temperature. If we had an issue or needed a ride to the car we sent a text to the front desk and they answered immediately-even on 4th of July weekend at maximum capacity. Highly recommend for couples, groups of friends or families. We had dinner at The cliff house -which was convenient and delicious! We feel lucky to have stayed at the prospect.

I had the most wonderful time here!! The staff made it absolutely wonderful, Kat in particular. They were super responsive with me via email leading up to the trip. I went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and I had flowers delivered to the grounds, and the team/Kat set them up beautifully. The place feels run by locals, and they were beyond hospitable. Everything (the room, the grounds, the restaurant/Cliff House, the pool etc) was immaculate and stunning. Location is great -- it's very accessible and a short drive to Gedney Kitchen where we had dinner reservations on night 2. I highly, highly recommend. I will definitely be coming back with friends for fall on a couples trip. Very impressed by how well run it is.
