Prospect Park Deli

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was the epitome of a NY deli, but much cleaner and put together. I was so excited to try everything! Now, let's talk about the food! Each dish we ordered was OUTSTANDING!!! The waygu chopped cheese was perfectly cooked, and accompanied by a delightful white sauce that added just the right touch of brightness. The flavors were exquisite, and you could tell that high-quality ingredients were used. Overall, Prospect Park Deli exceeded my expectations in every way. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!!!

The guys at the counter were very friendly, the food was also delicious 10/10 recommend walking by or on a date by the park.

My only experience here was purchasing a regular coffee yesterday. But the 10 degree weather outside was immediately counteracted by the warmth and welcoming nature of the owner, Mike. I came in in a bad mood — cold and tired and worn down — and I felt the pickmeup even before I drank the coffee. And Mike’s good humor seemed to be contagious to everyone in the place. An NYC deli doesn’t distinguish itself mostly by what it sells — you can buy the same coffee and candy bars at dozens of places (and cheaper at a supermarket)— so it’s all about the people, the sense of shared humanity that is the best reason to bother living in the city at all. New Yorkers keep eachother going. All that said, next time I’ll order a sandwich … I hope it lives up to the chit-chat!

We live nearby and recently visited for our first time. We will be back! The wagu chop cheese is best I’ve had in a while! The Jamaican chop cheese is delicious. And- they got cold coors light. So yeah, it’s going to be added into the rotation.

They stole they whole swag from Shmackwich, black own brand who's the original Wagyu Chop cheese. They should be giving them more credit but carry on lol

It's not wagyu idk why everyone is lying about having wagyu beef I guess that's the new grift with from scumbag run businesses 🤣🤣🤣🤣 would be a decent bodega otherwise
