Prospector Steak House

Had dinner at Prospector my for my birthday. The food was delicious and the portions were big. Sage was our server and she was amazing, very friendly! Thank you for a great meal and great service.

Waitress gave us attitude. Definitely not welcoming. Don't get me wrong, I love the prospector and its food, the only reason why we come is because the food is great. I would recommend dining on the dining side and not the bar side. The bar side isn't priority. This place would of gotten 5 stars if it wasn't for the Waitress. Dark hair with tattoos on her right tricep. Bad for buisness.

I normally dont leave reviews. Unfortunately, with 2 ignored phone calls and a waitress that didn't want to hear about my experience and pawn me off to the manager to only put me on hold until I was ready to hang up. I decided to leave this review. I ordered 3 meals for pick up. 2 Novemburgers and 1 kids meal for over $77 (including a small tip) which I thought was hefty at first. I had the order arranged for a 6pm pick up only to wait at the bar for 20 minutes. I even noticed a light restaurant with people that didn't have food or drinks infront of them for quite some time... I felt awkward and felt other people were as well. Only to get the meal and see that we were cheated on the fries quite a bit. The food was just okay but it definitely was not worth the bad experience. Again, all it took was for someone to hear me out on the feedback on the phone. But I feel this bad review was truly earned and should be here for viewing.

The 5 star is based solely on the food. The service was great we barely waited for any of the courses. I had the bacon carbonera with chicken I also tried the rib eye and wow both were fantastic. I'm from London and wish we had this restaurant there. The soup beef barley amazing. The cesar salad was fresh and the bread so light and fluffy. Combine that with the garlic butter, the whole meal was amazing 👏

I love the Italian waitress, she was very attentive in providing service and options for salad dressings, meanwhile she has a big personality and just like an old friend . please give her a raise she definitely deserves !The food here is highly recommended. Prime rib💯We love the bun the are so warm and fluffy. Just look at those adorable juicy asparagus . Many restaurants prefer to grill them over an open flame until the surface becomes overly charred, causing it to lose moisture. lease just come to dine in, 这家prime rib比the keg好吃多了，keg狗吃了都摇头

I recently dined at Prospector Steak House in Thunder Bay and loved it. I started with a beef soup, followed by crispy calamari with tangy sauces. My main course was a medium cooked steak topped with shrimp, served with fresh asparagus. For dessert, I enjoyed a warm, crumbly treat with creamy ice cream and caramel. Every dish was delicious, and the experience was fantastic. Highly recommended!

The food is absolutely delicious, with large portions that include free bread, soup, and salad. The seafood chowder is a standout, and the steak is cooked to perfection—tender and full of flavor. The staff are super friendly and professional, making the whole experience even better. Definitely worth the price!

One of our oldest, best establishments in Thunder Bay. The Prospector ceaser salad is incredible, the buns are delicious, amazing cuts and steak selection. Soups etc. Its all good. Nice staff, attentive. Thank you very much. A must try for a hearty meal.
