Protea Hotel Blantyre Ryalls

I booked a room at Protea Blantyre for a few work meetings. The staff here is extremely helpful and kind, and the facilities are clean and comfortable. The wifi, however, was quite slow which was a problem for work. I also developed some pretty bad gastrointestinal issues immediately after eating lunch here, which lasted for more than a day. The food itself also wasn't good - I had a salad that was so drenched in dressing it was uneatable. I'm glad for that, though, as I probably would have gotten even sicker if I had finished it.

It was a lot to take in!!! Love the history that has taken Ryalls to where it is. It's evident in it's experience and atmosphere. Anyday, anytime.. Nonetheless I was fortunate to go there on a Friday night with a live band by the pool area🙌🙌🙌🙌🫶

My stay at Protea Hotel Blantyre Ryalls was fabulous! They let me check in early and check out late. The shower was hot and had a lot of water pressure. The food and service were wonderful! The gardens are gorgeous and we'll maintained. The price is more than I usually spend but it was definitely worth it.

Worst fillet steak I have ever had in this restaurant. It took one hour to get my dried and overcooked steak and take another 20 mins to make the payment. Even did not give us change after the receipt is done! Totally a disastrous night!!!!

Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Rooms are a little tired but meticulously cleaned and looked after. I was there for two weeks while working and I could t have been happier. Internet comes and goes a little and lighting in the room is not always the best when working late, but very homely place to stay

Such a great, safe and comfortable space. Huge breakfast. I made my lunch at the breakfast buffet. Comfy rooms and we were lucky enough to have music near the pool on Friday night. ATM close walk and great airport transfer.

We had a beautiful stay with family, the staff were very friendly always ready to help! The rooms are cozy, the breakfast was really nice and the location was just perfect👌 The power went on and off several times🤭 before the generator was turned on, however I still think this is the best hotel in Blantyre😝
