Protea Hotel Lusaka Tower

It was my hotel of choice when conducting business due to the location. However, Ridgeway Southern Sun will be my hotel of choice for future business trips. Why? Parking comes at a price with Protea. Meaning the hotel utilizes the few parking spaces close to the main entrance for their shuttle buses forcing their patrons to dodge traffic crossing a poorly lit crosswalk. Management could do much better in relation to the little things that make a stay hassle free and allow patrons to be heard other than a website review page.

Walking distance to 2 malls. Food and drink is on the high side. But more reason pricing in locals bars ans restaurants.

Good Property to Stay.. Rooms are big, neat and clean.. chef can also make something customised for you in the breakfast if informed well in time... the only drawback i found with the revenue manager of the property who is least bothered to retain the existing guest..

The hotel is fine for a short stay in Lusaka. The best part is the staff's courtesy and excellent quality of service. Very caring and friendly.

The check-in is friendly, to the point and straightforward. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed with everything one needs. The breakfast is good but the dinner menu is a bit limited.|Especially in the evening, the restaurant on the 9th floor is particularly cold. The AC's are on top speed and there is no way they will turn them down. If affected, flee to the bar on the opposite side, or better yet, sit on the terrace with pool beyond the bar.|Check-out is again simple and quick.

All round good. Off street parking with 24hr security, friendly helpful front desk staff, comfortable rooms, very good housekeeping service. |The rooftop bar and restaurant are very good. Restaurant food is well presented and reasonably priced with attentive staff. |Convenient location with easy access to nearby East Park Mall, city centre and the highway to the airport. |Very good all round.

Nice place for work. The hotel gives a quiet atmosphere for productivity and focus, allowing one to get a lot of work done. The hotel's cleanliness was also noteworthy. But what really stole the show for me were the delicious sweets treats they offered.

Located close to two malls, it is a convenient place to stay. Their breakfast is great.
