Protea Hotel Ondangwa

Enjoyed my chicken salad 🥗 I never checked out the rooms, so no comment

It is located near to Ondangwa airport. Breakfast was so nice and the staff's service as well. However, some rain water was leaking from the roof of my room.

It's an old hotel, curtains in some rooms are torn, the rooms are decorated old style. Pool is very clean

Place pizza was tasty 😋 The chicken was hard 😫 Our room was spacious

Impressively bad hotel room for 1600 Na$. No key card available, needed to get someone from reception each time to go to room. It was freezingly cold without the option heating, light in the bathroom was not working despite repair attempt. Roaring bathroom vent and empty soap in the shower didn't make things better. 4 star price, rest camp feeling. Rest of the hotel made a pretty well maintained impression and cleanliness was spotless.

We stayed here one night as part of a tour group. This hotel was awful. I had dirty towels and didn't notice them until I got out of the shower, which was not very good either. The heater didn't work. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the service was abysmal there too. I've got nothing positive to say about this place so will end it here.

The owner needs to start renovations the place is soo out dated, also housekeeping needs to understand that one needs to clean underneath the toilet seat the amount of urine that has accumulated underneath is disgusting. The stuff is lovely and polite and helpful i must say. Ive only had brekfast there and its totally great, loved it.

Terrible run down hotel. Terrible service. Substandard food. Staff doesn't care. Didn't have towels in the room and there is no phone in the room to be able to make the call and ask for what you don't have. Pity there aren't many other options in the area.
