This is a very good quality resort, serving family getaways, equestrian enthusiasts, team building activities, and conferences, while also offering game viewing in the vicinity, and access to real game reserves that are reasonably close by. I would advise use of the restaurant instead of the buffet, as it is better value in terms of quality, unless you are really hungry. The rooms and facilities are very pleasant, and it is worthwhile staying here. A standout feature for me was the staff. They were very friendly and helpful, and made sure everyone felt welcome. On several occasions the staff went out of their way to provide assistance, beyond what I would normally have expected. That was greatly appreciated.

Visited The Ranch Farm Hotel while in the area for my UNISA graduation, and I’m so glad I took the time to explore. The place is beautiful and serene, with lovely grounds and a peaceful atmosphere. Even though I wasn’t staying overnight, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you’re around Polokwane!

I travelled from Durban to Polokwane to attend my wife's UNISA Graduation. We booked-in at the Ranch Resort , ideally situated in the vicinity of the Grad. The whole experience was overwhelming - from the beautiful gardens & scenery , the Ethnic displays at the entrance & in the foyer ... the warm hospitality , friendly assistance , the spacious room with all the necessary comforts & facilities ... the variety of delicious foods catered for at their Buffet - at supper & breakfast time. I would like to use this opportunity to single out & to COMMEND , one person ... whose name is SAM - from Reception. 3 Hours after Checking-Out , I realised that I had forgotten something of great value in the room. SAM responded immediately during my call to check & he located the item ... which was secured in the Safe - for me to collect - on my return Trip home. My Heartfelt THANKS to SAM , from the Ranch Resort - for his honesty & following-up during my distress and for restoring my Trust in Humanity. GOD BLESS!

Pre-covid, we were frequent guests and this was our first holiday here post-covid. Unfortunately, disappointment set in very quickly at breakfast, at 10am, 4 chafing dishes were empty with promises of the items being refilled. The frozen chicken strips were dropped into piping hot oil causing splashing of the hot oil and resulting in the outside cooking faster than the inside. Upon seeing the raw chicken, no attempt to fix the problem, just a sorry. Hot water lasts for a max of 10 minutes. Bathrooms need to be revamped, we had 4 rooms and shower heads and toilet seats were broken.Pool is more luke warm than heated. It's a beautiful location but standards have dropped, definitely won't be returning.

You guys serve the worst food ever. The service is extremely bad.. I keep getting the same experience over and over again. I returned my plate, because it was burned and had lots of blood in it. The manager took the plate back and said that they are sorry and they will fix it. Had to rush back to an event on the other side and collected after. I was packaged the same meal.. you guys are the worst.. angry 😡 I will post a picture of a meal I paid R350 for..

This is a wonderful venue. I was attending a seminar and wish I'd had more time to make use of the wonderful facilities.
