An extensive list of coffees, in particular - for pour over serving, and skilled barista guidance if you feel lost or need some help to make the best pick. Snap Chill coffee is awesome for a hot summer day in the city. Good food menu with Proud Mary’s takes on an Australian cafe favourites. Indoors and outdoors seating.

The Mog Champ sends his regards. A lovely and well known Cafe for both your experienced and casual coffee enjoyers! Enjoyed a ghost rider on a piccolo myself along with a typical & bourbon honey long black. Don't usually grab two coffees myself in one go but decided to give that morning an extra kick! Sat at the counter to see the baristas in action which was pretty cool seeing up close. Great friendly service and love the spacious and clean environment all around. #My partner ordered the potato hash and bacon on top which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a rich and intense flavour. It was a completely different experience to what we were used to. The charm of Melbourne coffee shops is amazing. I loved the cute little tasting cards served with the coffees ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️so playful and attentive. It was the perfect way to introduce them to the different types of coffee. Busy and cosy cafe in Collingwood. We were lucky to get a table with hardly any wait. We ordered the Breakie Bun and the Harissa Eggs (GFO) and really enjoyed both. Everything was cooked perfectly. Great food, excellent coffee, and friendly staff.

Visited in Oct 2025 Proud Mary is a super famous coffee roaster and cafe from a global perspective, let alone from an Australian and Melbourne viewpoint. In 2025 it was ranked as the 4th best coffee cafe in the world by a publication. This was my first visit to the cafe and I was able to get a table after a 5-10 mins wait. I wanted to try as many coffees, and therefore ended up ordering the cold-drip flight which comprised 3 small cold-drips coffees of 3 different beans (their monthly highlight). You can also order the espresso, long black or pour over version of the same flight. I think ordering the flight is best way to experience of what this place has to offer. Also ordered a few food items. Absolutely loved the Tamarind Eggplant Omelette and the Harissa Eggs. Would definitely recommend trying these 2 dishes. Service was quite decent, and the servers were very responsive in listening to us and with their recommendations. Overall, a brilliant cafe with excellent coffee. A 100% recommendation

A highlight of my weekend was dropping into Proud Mary at 8am on Sunday. I managed to beat the rush, relax, and enjoy a delicious pour over, followed by a flat white and their “Proud’s bircher”. The bonus were the super friendly and welcoming staff. Will definitely be back on my next trip to Melbourne.

Good service and location. Atmosphere was great - it's in a heritage building of course! Food was good, not outstanding (was expecting more). Hotcakes apparently was the best dish. Paste (Lamb Ragu) was ok, the Potato Hash was undercooked in the middle.
