Just incredible. Some of the best restaurants are the ones that only do a few dishes but do them extremely well: Provedore is one of those restaurants. Simple, well made food with a friendly service, all at a price that would still be reasonable 5 or 6 years ago.
The guisson (white bean stew with panchetta) was deep with the flavour of fresh herbs, garlic and smokey ham, while the ravioli was delicate and expertly made. The prawns were sweet and tender, slathered with a decadent garlic butter. These were all meant to be "small plates"; they were anything but!
Despite having lived in Falmouth for a while, this was out first time visiting. It certainly won't be our last!
