This is going to be my favorite go to French Seafood restaurant with amazing views of Marinaside. Great food & service from concierge Lorenzo to Melody our waitress and even the gal who kept filling our water without asking. We started with nicely fried calamari which came with some light salad. Delicious & tender. We ordered the whole Dover sole lemon buttered fish to share and added seasonal veggies. Deliciously seasoned. It also came with potatoes. Note: it cost $5-$8 if you want them to cut fish for you inside. But it’s a much enjoyable experience to see the whole fish and it was easy to share as it was pre sliced on the side to lift up the fish to pull out the moist fish. Perfectly cooked as I’m a fish lover. Bonus was free surprise desert for my hubby on his bday and I tried first time French cake which was sponge cake with mixed berries inside & nice baked exterior served warm with side of vanilla ice cream. We were so thankful to be accommodated great new outdoor patio seating right on the street with amazing Marinaside view. My hubby and I are autoimmune compromised so it was nice we could reserved patio seating which most restaurants don’t do. Value of food, service, and ambiance totally worth it. I posted clips of video indoor & outdoor and menu to view. Enjoy.

It is a huge restaurant offering both patio heated and indoor seating. Located right by the water, it offers a very relaxing ambiance. Decent quality except the scallops I had is a bit sandy. The pasta is on the salty side especially the salmon. They offer a dessert for the birthday person which is very generous these days. Attentive service. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Taking a stroll from David Lam Park to Cooper’s Park led to an unexpected culinary delight—Provence Marinaside. So far, this place serves the best ravioli and baguette I’ve had in BC. The baguette was perfectly done—crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. It was so good, we couldn’t resist ordering a second one. As for the ravioli? Simply the best in town. The balance between the sauce and the filling was spot on—rich, flavorful, and satisfying. Not everything hit the same high mark though. The meatballs had a lovely tomato sauce and were well-prepared, but $16 for two medium-sized pieces feels a bit steep. Worth trying, but not the best value. The only real disappointment was the steak. We ordered it medium, but it came out clearly overcooked. While we didn’t send it back (we don’t like wasting food), even at medium-well, it just met the standard—not exceptional. The sauce, however, was excellent. Service was attentive but not intrusive—staff showed up at just the right times and treated us well throughout the meal. Despite the letdown with the steak, the overall experience and quality of the other dishes were so good that I’m still giving Provence Marinaside a solid 5-star rating. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

We recently dined at Provence Marineside our first time to dine there and it was an absolute delight! The ambiance was cozy and intimate, with a beautiful view of the marina. The service was top-notch - our server Andrea was attentive, knowledgeable, and super friendly. The food was exquisite! We ordered the escargot, bouillabaise, rack of lamb and seafood platter and all of them were cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the presentation was stunning. Highly recommend Provence Marineside for special occasion. Can't wait to come back!

Had a fantastic time with my dog! Pet friendly patio, excellent service from the time you step to be greeted, through end to service to make you feel pampered! The bennys and focaccia were to die far, the potatoes very indulgent! Ordered a side portion of ham and bacon for my doggo, served in her own little container and water bowl with ice. Coffee was refilled timely, with a keen eye to ensure you had everything you needed. The spot is by the waters, great location near Yaletown doc with lots of vegetarian options. Feedback: I would recommend though to have options to swap meat with vegetarian options like mushroom or avocado without an extra charge, it's common practice in majority of breakfast spots, so was surprised to hear this, a slight let down in comparison to the impeccable service and great quality of food. Will definitely visit again. You should sell your focaccia, I'm sure you'll have long queues to buy it! 10/10 :)

Google
Fantastic and memorable experience. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing and every plate was delicious. Our waiter Walter was a joy and so attentive. Would recommend!

Google
The fish soup was very rich in taste with lots of umami. Wish the server had explained the small dish of yellow sauce that was served with the soup--I thought it was mustard. Hokkaido scallops were smaller than expected. The salad was very fresh with tiny teardrop-shaped tomatoes. The tiramisu, was told their house special, which is not listed in their dessert menu was divinely delicious; they didn't skimp on the liquor. Great ambiance for dinner. Will be back.

Google
Service and atmosphere are always great at Provence Marinaside. Although the food was tasty, I have noticed a dip in quality of seafood over the past couple of years I've been coming here. Scallops and mussels are not as big. Still very delicious and a great date spot.

Yelp
We were there for Dine out Vancouver, the ambience was very friendly and the service was fastand very obliging and informed. The food, not so much. While our appetisers were crisp and delicious, the main course, bouillabaise, was both salty and fishy, so that we ate the seafood (we were hungry) but both of us, without any discussion, spontaneously left the liquid, which is really important to bouillabaise. The saffron scent seemed to be extra strong to cover up the fishy smell. Perhaps Dineout is seen as an opportunity to use up lower quality seafood. We also had the Petit Pour of 3 wines matched to the menu choices, and the third choice, to go with the creme caramel, was undrinkable, even though it was only one oz.. It smelled really strongly of gasoline, and tasted of it. too. I'm happy to try almost any wine, but the smell was so strong, and the one sip so unpalatable, it was avery disappointing end to the Dine out experience.

Yelp
My wife and I were craving for egg Benedict near Yaletown and we found this French Bar and Grill restaurant. We were warmly welcomed by the lady who dressed in red (the owner?) and got the table without waiting for long. Servers were efficient and we could order foods quickly. I ordered the smoked salmon bennies. It was nicely cooked with potatoes cooked with butter. Simple but delicious. That's what I wanted. It was an enjoyable breakfast, especially in a rare sunny morning in Raincouver. Foods were good. Mood was good.

Yelp
Seems like a touristy place. But food and service quite good. Wine is ridiculously expensive!

Yelp
I went here for brunch, and the restaurant was awesome. I got the Croque Benedict and it was really delicious. All the ingredients tasted fresh and the service was great as well. The portions were smaller than other places that offer brunch, but still a place I would go to again.

Yelp
What can I say about Provence? C'est parfait!!! This is a place to have some good food, sea food. When you get there, the host is so nice and ask if you want to leave your jacket on the closet then they take you to your table. You can notice a goood customer service when you get there. The second thing that I liked it was the menu, there are many of good options from breakfast to dinner. I did like the croissant Benny for breakfast and for dinner I loved their sea food risotto! I didn't try the dessert, but people who was eating the dessert, it was seeming yummy. Thanks

Yelp
Snooty service made for a distasteful dinner. The restaurant especially the outdoor patio is a choice spot for a special date nite ~ be entertained with the boardwalk passerbys strolling with pups. The place was busy, so ordered entrees came out slowly. No problem there. It was the laughable conceited personalities from host to server ~ rolling eyes and rude tone that kept us wondering is it too much to ask for an extra napkin? Wrong to ask for another beer? If the bill comes to $200 requesting hot sauce should come with a le sourire :( The location is prime and is why the menu is $$$$.

Yelp
I came for a late weeknight dinner, around 8pm arrival. No reservation, just walked in. This will be my 3rd time coming here, all for various reasons but not because ive always found this place amazing. We were seated a small table next to some other diners. We asked if we can be seated at the booth next to it that is totally empty...as with many other booths and tables in the restaurant. The waitress had to go check first and then said "normally no but this time I will do it for you." I dont really care what the underlying reasons are, e.g. policy from management etc. But saying it like that makes you sound arrogant when your restaurant is literally mostly empty. There are more tactful ways to handle this. Anyway, other than that incident, our server was helpful, and polite. The main problem here is the food. Most recent couple times I tried: appetizer seafood platter - all the items were good, but WAY overpriced. the portions are absolutely tiny for $60. mediterranean grilled fish (sea bream) - fish cooked well, but severely underseasoned. Just...a bit more salt would have helped. The sauce was also super bland. The veg side was also well cooked but again, underseasoned. The wild rice it came with was a touch undercooked and hard. Bouillabaisse: better seasoning, could still use more intensity in the flavours. grilled fish trio - really disappointing, 3 small pieces of different grilled fish with sides, again underseasoned and one of the fish pieces was overcooked and dry. Overall, they seem to generally cook the seafood well, but dont season nearly enough. Which in itself is not such a horrendous crime but when you charge these types of fine-dining prices, you cannot get this kind of thing wrong. Its like they forgot to taste the food theyre cooking. Ive dined at casual and michelin-starred French restaurants with similar dishes both in North American and in France, and this just is not up to par. This place should not be charging the prices they do. Street meter parking. Restaurant itself is generally pretty comfortable, and relatively nice.

Yelp
So when the potatoes taste better than the main part of the dish = Mayday!!! It's been awhile since I last ate here & I was so looking forward to it. I guess I was reminded why it had been so long! I was not really impressed with my Benedict. It lacked that, as the French say, that certain - "Je ne sais quoi!" I've been spoilt like a king via amazing classic Benedicts (ala Botanist & ARC restaurants) & had high expectations that were not met! Provence Marinaside is a beautiful restaurant & perfectly located alongside the waterfront at False Creek, but the food = meh! Breakfast left me wanting so much more than what I just ate & experienced! Quality & taste was mediocre! I really wanted this to be a 5 Star experience but it wasn't! Honestly I left here with sadness! I'm willing to give dinner a try ... well just maybe!?? Comme ci comme ça!

Yelp
I have been here many times over the years and it remains a favorite of mine. Our server was lovely, authentic and sweet. Service was friendly and prompt. Today It was an impromptu happy hour. I definitely recommend the HH. It's 2-5pm... Wish it was later lol. All of their food is super yum! Today I went for the escargot and meatballs with a Baguette. So good! Their meatballs are like, wow! The escargot is good, but I missed it served with mushrooms. Their happy hour merlot is from Mt. Boucherie and I highly recommend it. Lots to choose from. I have been here for brunch and its fantastic. I have been here for dinner, and as long as u are a tapas person, u will love it Their wine list is to die for. Like, give me the Bible of wine lol.

Yelp
Let's start a day with a Crab Cake Egg Benedict and a Latte. The savoury of the eggs lays on top of the crab and shrimp cakes whilst the pop of sweet comes with hollandaise sauce. The dish is garnished with roasted tomato and wedge potatoes. It was a perfect light brunch. Provence Marinaside participates the popular annual restaurant festival Taste of Yaletown #tasteofyaletown. During the whole month of October 2021, you can try out some exciting menus. Provence Marinaside is located at 1177 Marinaside Crescent, Vancouver, BC. This is a great location to enjoy the meal while privy to Yaletown-False Creek scenic view. Food: 3/5 Can Try! Service: ‍‍‍‍4/5 Kids: 3/5 A-OK for kids Price: $50-$100 for three (breakfast/brunch) Presentation: 2/5 Parking: Paid street parking Tips: * has happy hour daily between 3-5 pm. * has live jazz every Wednesday night from 6-9 pm. * recommends to make a reservation as the place fills up rather quickly. * has a lot of heated patio seating. Would I Return: Maybe

Yelp
Came here for their weekday brunch as I was excited to try their crab and shrimp cake Benedict. The food was delicious, though the egg was too runny for me. Didn't think potatoes could be this yummy but they were. What I had a problem with was the service. From the greeter to the waitress, they were not too friendly with us. I assume that their rude behavior is due to us not ordering enough. It felt that they were rushing us to leave as they set the bill on the table without saying a word, before we were ready to leave. With this kind of service, I will not be coming back.

Yelp
Lovely west coast seafood restaurant with beautiful views Quayside marina at False Creek. We called last minute for large group and they were able to accommodate us for patio seating. Service was unassuming and easy going. The blueberry summer cocktail is refreshing and light. Menu is exactly as I remembered it. Couldn't resist the Seafood Provençal Platter. If you like seafood it has everything you want and it's delicious. Also tried the prawn and scallop spaghetti. There is a kids menu which is nice. It's a great location for brunch, happy hour, dinner and dessert. Patio is fantastic in the summer. Really can't beat the location right by the water.

Yelp
Let's start with, it was delicious. We had a bottle of Beaujolais to go with dinner as it will be mainly seafood for this meal so the light bodied red pairs well. If you like medium or full bodied red, it is actually not the best for seafood Started with the mushroom soup. Oh wow! It was so tasty, well seasoned and if you love to dip bread into your soup, this is the soup for you. We didn't order bread but it was SO satisfying. The crab cakes has always been super delicious and this was still the case here. I used to come here for the crab cakes benny on weekends, yum! My pan seared steelhead was moist and the quinoa accompaniment was satisfying. Love the lemony sauce that was paired with the fish. The bouillabaisse is also very fulfilling. We finished the night off with the chocolate fondant which I thought was a lava cake but it is a chocolate mousse. It was really good and lighter than what I thought I was getting so no complaint there.

Yelp
The happy hour was def bussin--or as they say en france: "le heure de happy est le bussine!!!" I had a wild mushroom ravioli. But more importantly, the drinks are good and cheap. I would definitely recommend the drinks. You can easily have 6 or 7 drinks here for the same price as 1 or 2 at one of the other terrible overpriced watering holes around these parts--definitely DO NOT go to OEB Breakfast Co next door. Those guys eat chicken... Where I come from, it is rare to see 17 in person. Here, we saw many!!! And there were boats nearby, including a yacht which may or may not have been chartered by Countess Aurélie de Camembert et Latrines. Very cool to see that in person if you know what I mean! I heard that the daughter of the owner personally fetches the snails from Grouse Mountain each mountain. Personally I would turn them over to the SPCA, but deep frying them alive definitely is bussin too. Enjoy!

Yelp
The service by a French man was very good the only reason we came here was because next door breakfast place had a long wait !! The so called baguette was nothing like French baguettes that are hearty and crispy. It was a very plain white piece of bread with no taste at all very disappointing !!! and the breakfast / brunch menu overpriced for portion omelet comes with out toast and the falafel salad comes with out bread or toast so you leave hungry and have to go next door for better tasty food
google avatar

Yelp
The food quality was awesome. I order the French Toast with berries and Crab and Lobster Omelet. I absolutely enjoyed the side of potato that came with the the Omelet. If you are visiting Canada for the first time, I would definitely recommend this location and the two entries. Unfortunately, I only captured one picture. You will thank me later. Shout out to our waitress, Amy for her amazing customer service from start to finished. Thank you!

Yelp
Excellent all around. Our party enjoyed absolutely everything. Definiteley a gem of Yaletown.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my time here this morning for brunch. Here is how it went down. So, at first we wanted to try the breakfast place next door, which had a wait time of 2.5-3 hours....Yes! Hours!...ridiculous. If you have such business why aren't you taking reservations?!....maybe they like to have people wait on the sidewalk? I don't know. I wouldn't even wait 3 hours to get into a Gordon Ramsay spot...but anyway, I digress. We went next door to Provence. As we walked into Provence, it had a very welcoming, cozy and bustling vibe and even though it was busy, we were sat right away by the window. The menu has a wonderful selection of sweet and savoury items for breakfast and lunch with an interesting drink menu. For me, 11 am is a little too early, but hey....whatever rocks your boat. I ordered the Crab Cake Benny and asked if the crab was fresh and it certainly was! I also asked for my eggs to be done medium and it was served just right. Loved the crab benny! If you like crab meat...try this item there. It was so fresh and tender and the seasoning was so on point that it didn't overpower the crab taste. Crab meat is one of those few items that demands to be the taste highlight. What I mean is it has to be prepared in such a way as to keep its taste as the "show" of the dish. The rosemary potatoes were also fresh and beautifully seasoned. The smoked salmon we also enjoyed. Crab and smoked salmon have very different tastes, and I tend not to mix them up, but depending on your crave that day..I'd recommend it also. I was also impressed with the service. It was very busy and people were just flooding in as we were leaving also, but we never felt that we had to ask for anything....wonderful! Will be back!

Yelp
We had a good brunch experience at Provence Marinaside. It was a spacious restaurant right by the marina, brightly lit and well decorated. Our server was friendly, however she took a while to come back to our table each time. I ordered the smoked salmon benedict and French toasted baguette. The corn pancakes were soft and a pleasant surprise to my tastebuds, they definitely enhanced the eggs benedict over the usual English muffin. The baguette rather than typical French toast also worked well. They offered an enjoyable unique twist on the classics.

Yelp
So I've been dining in Yaletown for over 7 years .... Unbelievably disgusting service today from the waitress first of all I told her NO CHEESE I have a dairy allergy. My brunch comes covered in cheese... she never even came back to see if my meal was ok. Second of all she had no idea what she was doing she asks me if i want toast when the restaurant doesn't even serve toast they give you a baguette. she never came back to even fill our water what a surprise i haven't got to the best part yet. THEY SCRAPPED THE CHEESE EGGS OFF AND PUT NEW EGGS ON THE SAME PLATE WITH CHEESE STILL STUCK ON MY POTATOES WHEN I HAVE AN ALLERGY. also our waitress was standing across the restaurant watching sports on the tv the entire time being extremely rude I've never experienced such horrible service from this place in my life. THEY HAVE GONE COMPLETELY DOWNHILL honestly if your looking for a good seafood restaurant i suggest looking else where.

Yelp
This place is lovely! The service was good and the food was amazing! It is on the pricier side, but well worth it! I have only visited this place once for brunch, but this time, I went for dinner. We had the mussels, which were marinated in beurre blanc. The bread and olive tapenade were the perfect accompaniment. I also had the crab and lobster rice. It was amazing and even though I was full, I finished my meal! I would recommend this place for seafood and french food lovers! I will definitely be back again!

Yelp
Worst and Rude. Went here to have a late lunch. I travel a ton and always find the best restaurants. Was excited for this one. I was seated outside and staff walked by me 15 times. I sat for 20 min with zero acknowledgment. Asked "would it be possible to order a drink and food?" Lady said "oh sorry " and never returned. I asked a male waiter if could order... which is a normal request at a restaurant. I ordered a glass of wine and asked what the fish soup was like ? He gruffly replied ..." idk I've never had it ". That was it. Rude. I left. Not sure if that is part of the appeal there. Not for me.

Yelp
Cozy, great foods, awesome experience from the server! We came here to celebrate an special event of my life and the night was spectacular with my small family and we enjoyed the marinaside, the french foods ( especially the entrees). I super loved the appetizer Escargot Provençal and the crab and shrimp cake. A must-try!

Yelp
With needing a birthday gift for my Aunt in Richmond, B.C. Canada, I used Yelp.CA to search the restaurants. I read the reviews, looked at customer comments, photos and got a feel for the restaurants. I liked Provence Marinaside's menu and saw they offer gift certificates online. I called twice and spoke to Joanne and Sean who clarified the steps on how I could get this gift to my Aunt who doesn't own a computer. So far, so good. I will have to write an update when she uses her birthday gift in January!

Yelp
Disappointed! Ordered on delivery and got a huge laugh opening up a $16 dessert...claufouti raspberry cake that was a coin - 3 ins by 1inch. Looks like a cold old piece of dessert. Ordered the famous French restaurant pomme frites and got scrappy left over French fries that were mostly 1 inch long scraps. Meatballs were good. Salad was wilted. Really? Used to go to this place 10 years ago and it was wonderful. What I'm the world happened? I really think they send the scraps out on delivery so that you can't send them back. I'm almost to the point where I'm giving up on delivery. But from a French Cafe like this....wow! Mac Donald's does better "French fries" than you do.

Yelp
Had a reservation on a Thursday evening. Service: ordered an appetizer but it never came - luckily we were not charged! As a consequence of above (?) our entrees came super fast - we were looking for an enjoyable relaxing experience but the service decisions made everything g rushed. Cocktails - I understand not every place can make a good cocktail but at least have the basics down. Ordered an old fashioned : it cannot have had any bitters nor any muddled citrus ... may as well have asked for a shot of rye! In fact I have just made a much better old fashioned myself at home ... come on Marinaside!!

Yelp
Great food, fabulous location, helpful staff, really can't go wrong! We keep returning for exactly these reasons.

Yelp
We decided to take part in Dine Out Vancouver at this restaurant. The price for a three course dinner was $59 per person plus the Full Pour of Selected Wine with each course was an additional $36 per person. For my main I selected the Grass Fed Beef Tenderloin which was an additional $6. Presented on my plate were 2 small end cuts of the Tenderloin seared individually but then presented together angled so it looked like it was one piece of Tenderloin. I requested Medium Rare which the two pieces were cooked to Medium. I was surprised that a restaurant of this calibre would serve end cuts of the Tenderloin. I can only think the Chef thought it acceptable to serve this as it was a customer that was using the Dine-Out pre-selected menu. Had I ordered the Beef Tenderloin from the regular menu, and I was presented with two end pieces, I would have sent it back to the kitchen. The wine pairings for the appetizers and main courses was enjoyable, until we were served a very dry Sparking Wine with a delicious sweet Crème Caramel. This pairing was terrible.

Yelp
It has been many years since I have eaten here pre-covid but since I am in the neighbourhood, I might as well check it out. I do miss their truffle fries. Since there is no indoor dining, patio is the next best thing. My wife and I got seated in the corner away with no dividers but far enough that there are distance. She ordered the duck caesar salad with grilled chicken on the side and I ordered burger with yam fries. We shared the calamari. I didn't order the truffle fries when I noticed the price is higher than the last time I had it and it is now a side dish and NOT an appy. Overall, my burger was delicious. Meat is cooked well; both juicy to the bite and nice charred taste on the meat. Cibbata bun, purple onion and tomatoes, provencal tomato sauce and melted gruyere makes a great burger. She had smoked duck breast caesar salad with foccacia croutons. Taste is average. More cheese than lettuce. And a side of chicken breast. There was only 3 pieces of tiny duck slice. And last but not least, the crispy calamari with piquillo pepper aioli. This was quite good. Overall, the food did not disappoint. They followed the covid rules to a T and service was good.

Yelp
We wouldn't normally think of coming here for brunch but since our original location was ridiculously busy we thought we'd give it a try. Dinner here is always good so brunch should be just as good. I ordered the smoked salmon Benny on corncakes. It comes with a ramekin of perfectly golden crisp wedge potatoes and a roasted tomato as your sides, the smoked salmon has a wonderful hickory smoke flavour and is just cooked through and topped with medium poached eggs. The corn cakes are tiny, just enough to rest the salmon and eggs on top but were good and the sweet corn kernels in them gave it a nice little pop when you bit into them. I would have preferred my tomato smaller or sliced as it's a little dubious to cut into such a large plump tomato without the fear of its juicy guts squirting all over you! All in all it was good but if you're one with a hearty appetite, this might not be enough. Service was good with the exception of a mix up in our bills so don't be complacent when the check comes, look it over!

Yelp
The order For The Win! FTW any of their Seafood dishes - $20 Breakfast Seafood Crepe or the $24 Seafood Pasta for lunch or dinner. Vegetarians will love the $22 Wild Mushroom Ravioli for brunch, but bigger eaters will have to consider an additional add-on like the $5 toasted baguette which is one of my favs. I've also had the $24 Crab & Lobster Omelette and the $7 Traditional OJ Mimosa which is also decent, but I have a slight preference for the above options. You can always find a great meal at Provençe! Taste, price compared to the competition, and the touristy Marinaside Seawall view makes this a constant consideration for a memorable meal out!

Yelp
Went here for brunch on a sunny Sunday morning. We ordered the Chorizo Scramble ($15), Crab Cake Benedict ($20) and Moscow Mule ($13). I found the Moscow mule very disappointing, I could barely taste the vodka or ginger, it tasted pretty much like lime juice. I found the chorizo scramble just ok (too much bell pepper, not enough chorizo), my boyfriend found it undercooked especially since he requested over-hard to the server. While I loved the crab cake benedict, both of us agreed that the brunch portion was smaller than what you would normally get in Vancouver. The ambience was nice and the wait wasn't too long (less 30 mins). The service was quite attentive but nothing special either.

Yelp
A amazing evening! I think the best service I have ever had in Vancouver , positive energy running around while pretending all is normal. Best COVID precautions I have seen yet. The food was delicious just when you think it can't get better something surprises you , the cheese on the salad plate, the vegetables on the lobster plate and the raspberry sauce with the dessert!!! You have to come check it out ! We pre COVID would come for brunch , we will sure be back !

Yelp
$4.15 for 1/2 a cuppa coffee! I like the coffee and this is the 2nd time I've been there. However and sadly, it cost me more than $6 (incl. tip) for six ounces! They only offer 12oz to-go cups. I paid, left the restaurant and seen my cup was cup was only half filled. if you're looking for a good cup of Expresso/Americano Coffee near the Davie Marina in Vancouver; There are a few places to get coffee like Scuie and Urban Fare. But the best you will get is at Provence. I've found them to offer a decent brew, but be prepared to be pay for less than you expect. The server seemed to be having a bad day and was in a crappy mood. Maybe that had to do with it

Yelp
I made a Yelp account just to write this review. We had an extremely disappointing experience with the food on Valentine's Day with the set menu. While our waiter was attentive, helpful, and friendly, the portion sizes were far below our expectations. The sea bream and lamb chop were both disappointingly small--with the sea bream being especially thin. The oysters and scallops were similarly small in size. We also found the lobster ravioli (which was served deconstructed) rather clumsy to eat. As someone who has experienced set menus at upscale restaurants at this same price point before ($135 per person, not including drinks), I generally know what to expect in terms of the amount of food that I will be receiving, and unfortunately, this restaurant did not live up to those expectations. If you're looking for a restaurant with decent portions, this may not be the place for you. Hopefully, the restaurant can take this feedback and make some improvements for future set menus.

Yelp
Stopped by this place for brunch unexpectedly because OEB beside it was a 2.5 hour wait. The brunch menu looked pretty good, so we sat down and ordered the Crab Cake Benedict and Grilled Chicken and Upperbench Brie Panini. The view is obviously very good since the location is situated right by the water, and has a nice heated patio as well. In terms of taste, the bread could have been crispier and I didn't get that OVERFLOWING cheesiness that I love with Brie, but I did like the ingredient combo (chicken, mushroom, Dijon, and Brie) and the portion size was huge. As in I could only finish half, and the other half would have probably lasted me another meal.

Yelp
Provence is a very good place to eat at a patio. I heard its brunch is very famous, but I haven't had the chance to give it a try yet. Nevertheless, the dinner was amazing. I love the fresh baguette! The crab and lobster bamboo rice is just omg amazing! You should try this! It gave me a mixed feeling! I am very hard to be pleased but this one is just amazing! The seafood linguini is super good too. It is not for me, but amazing! Iove the tarte au citron. Super fresh for a dessert to clean your mouth basically! Love the service! Super great waitress welcoming us! I would come back again to try its other food! Very recommended!

Yelp
Croque monsieur - 16 CAD served on focaccia bread instead of the traditional English muffin. Honestly felt like I was eating a pizza for breakfast but I have no complaints about that. Crispy texture from the focaccia bread. Hash browns were also nice and crispy. If I were to come back I would probably get the crab cake Benedict. My friend got that and I would say it was the most unique tasting!

Yelp
My best meal in Vancouver My meal at the Provence Marinaside restaurant, is the best that I had during my five weeks as a tourist in Vancouver. I had the West Coast Style Bouillabaisse, which was absolutely delicious; actually, I liked it better than the bouillabaisse I have eaten in Marseilles. The broth was incomparable and filled with an assortment of delicious seafood. The ingredients were all very fresh and perfectly prepared. The menu offers many options of fish and shellfish. The service was of top quality: the servers were all very friendly and efficient. We were sitting on the outside patio, from where we enjoyed a nice view of the marina and ocean across the street. We found the prices quite reasonable for such meals of the optimal quality. I will definitely go back there whenever I am in Vancouver.

Yelp
A little swanky for me but I do have to say the black ham eggs Benedict over croquet and potatoes were very good.

Yelp
Great food! The oysters were fresh. Love the seared kampachi, crispy sides echo the crispy skin yet the fish is still moist. The chorizo made a bold statement. The sable fish is more delicate compare to the kampachi, light and refreshing in broth. Creme Caramel is the best one I've ever had in Vancouver.

Yelp
Really unfortunate evening. I can only say that this is a 3 dressed up as a 9. We have eaten here in the past and it was decent. Tonight was another story altogether. Not even meeting minimal expectations. Halibut was undercooked (mushy) in the middle. Pasta was mediocre, but not worth the price. Dessert was simply awful. So many better options in Vancouver. We won't be back...

Yelp
I was worried by the bad reviews. I also came here like many because OEB was full and i didnt want to wait 30 min in the cold. I had the croque monsier benedict, and i would say it was the best eggs benedict. They kept it classic, staying true to flavors. The hollandaise sauce was creamy and well seasoned. The tomato sauce they put on the bread was flavorful. I am particular about eggs. I like them super yolky, and prefer good quality large yolk eggs. And they were that! The roasted tomatoes they give as a side was so good. I wish they gave two of that and half of the potatoes.

Yelp
Came here for Dine Out Vancouver where you get a 3-course meal for $45. I got the clams and mussels, Bouillabaisse and sorbet. The steamed clams and mussels was delicious. I love the wine and garlic and this dish just works. The bread that they provided was perfect to sop up the sauce. I wasn't too impressed with the Bouillabaisse. I wish it was hotter. The seafood was fresh and cooked nicely. It came with salmon, tuna (I think), 2 scallops, clams and mussels. I just didn't enjoy the broth. For the dessert, I had the sorbet. It came with 3 flavors, but the only one I liked was the watermelon. This is one of the few places that lets you choose from their entire dessert menu which was cool. The creme brulee that my sister ordered was amazing. It was smooth, soft and creamy. Maybe a tad sweet but it works. Service was great and the bread and tapenade were very much welcomed. They also had a nice, cool band playing which made the meal enjoyable.

Yelp
Tried the Smoked Salmon Benedict, it was delicious. We sat outside, it was a sunny day so we had an amazing time, nice and toasty. Food was great, atmosphere was great and the view amazing.

Yelp
Love this place! I've been her multiple times for work events but haven't been here for brunch. Came on Saturday for brunch (apparently most places in Yaletown down open till later). We got sat right away. They open there doors so even if you are inside, you have a beautiful view of the marina. Our waitress was tremendous (can't remember her name but she had red hair)! They didn't have GF or vegan plates so she assured me she would make something! That looked like veggies, toast, avocado, tomato salad, and potatoes. It was really nice and light bit super delicious! I really enjoy this place. I have no complaints!
