Very nice museum with well put together displays, except the entrance/yard pieces that seem a little unkempt and lost surrounded by the tall grass.
The hours are very convenient, as it stays open all day till 19:30.

Small museum but worth the visit if you're into history. The entry was free and the place was clean. Great place to take a break from the beach or if the weather is not cooperating.

Great little museum, the highlight was the bronze head of Apollo. A nice collection of ancient jewellery, jugs, vessels.
Free to enter. With toilet facilities.
Can get a bit hot inside in the summer.

Not the greatest museum ever but if you’re a history buff like me, then worth popping in. It’s free. The main sections descriptions are translated into English but the individual artefact captions are not. I was there about an hour.

It was free to enter the museum, and there are not too many artwork, but the head of Apollo was so impacted and every work was impressive. If you stay in Salerono or plan to have enough time in this region, I would like to recommend this place.

Nice smaller museum of artifacts from over 3,000 years of the Salerno area. Good timeframe diversity and good variety of objects and toes of objects. Descriptions in both Italian and English.
And, it's free!

Since the museum is free there is no reason not to visit and of course Apollo is the highlight! But they have a lot of interesting objects.

Small but free museum worth visiting for Apollo's bronze head displayed on the second floor.
