Great fresh vegan food options! One of few in the area. Really enjoyed the Tempeh Reuben, Asian tofu salad & hummus flat bread. Tasty dressing and fresh! Great for brunch/lunch!

Super tasty, fun, healthy food from a classic natural foods type of cafe. The offerings in the cafe include lots of vegan and vegetarian food, as well as healthy chicken and egg dishes. There’s also a nice size health food store attached. The shelves are full of delicious fare you’d find in a typical health food store, though prices are relatively high (even compared to nyc). Oban recent trip for lunch with three adults and three kids (aged 3, 7, and 8) we enjoyed many delicious items: - a grilled delicate squash topped with a chicken pea curry served over kale (savory and hearty, quite satisfying) - vegan chili (a huge bowl!) - a chicken Caesar wrap (fresh and farm raised Chechen) - a Thai chicken wrap (the 8 year old loved this one!) - and a chicken pea curry sandwich. Food was all freshly prepared so it took longer than your typical deli (there was a long line of happy and hungry folks) but the order still came out of faster than any regular fast-casual sit-down joint would be able to meet. Highly recommend for a yummy bite for a solo person or family. You can also grab the food and walk across the street to enjoy as a picnic by the water. Great experience!!

Best health food store for miles and miles! Always super friendly staff, too. Grilled veggie sandwich (no cheese) was very good! Juice was so tasty and nourishing. Glad to see vegan options. The grocery part has a great selection. Many vegan cheeses, tofus, organic produce, locally made and gluten free snacks and desserts, raw options..some of my favs!

My family loves Provisions! We’ve been going to this lovely little health food store for many years and even after their expansion they’ve maintained a noticeable consistency in the quality of their prepared foods, their produce and product selection, as well as the generally helpful and friendly attitude of their staff.. For at least 10 years we’ve had the pleasure of seeing many of the same faces here, both employees and customers, and have made several friends just by frequenting this location.. The prices are a bit high if you’re not used to “Hamptons prices”, but they take the quality of their products very seriously and we’ve found that the quality usually justifies the price tag here. Living in the Westhampton Beach area, we don’t drive to Sag Harbor too often, but every time we do my kids are excited to visit Provisions. Their menu of healthy & delicious prepared foods is truly impressive. They offer some great coffee and tea options and their juices and smoothies are the perfect choice for something cool and healthy on a hot summer day.. They are one of several local businesses that stay open year round and you can rely on Provisions to offer consistent service and quality. Sag Harbor is easily our families favorite town on the east end of Long Island. The charm of this town is undeniable so any chance to visit Provisions health food store will be accompanied by some lovely time spent in this historic little village.

The café serves delicious, healthy food for reasonable prices. If that’s what you want this is your best lunch in Sag Harbor. There are good vegan vegetarian and WFPB options.

A man came in with two large dogs into the small cafe area. Signs on the door says no pets allowed and no one asked him to leave. It’s gross to have dogs inside eating establishments and a violation of health codes. These were not service animals for a disabled person. Please enforce your no pets policy and remind your staff.

Over priced bland food, but is it a healthy restaurant so that’s to be expected to some degree. The sandwich and soup, that I waited 45 minutes for since no one from the kitchen poked their head out to mention they needed someone to bring them to-go soup cups, fell apart the second I tried to lift it. No sign of supposed sun dried tomato spread. Pretty sure the black bean chili was just a can of black beans. A little chipotle hot sauce at home at least gave it some flavor. Another disappointing Sag Harbor experience.

Had lunch with a friend here today. The chicken and rice soup we both had looked and tasted like lukewarm dishwater. No seasoning, not much rice, and cubes of chicken with fatty skin attached. The worst part... the bread served had blue mold on it. ( The nice lady working there did apologize and gave us mold-free bread when the problem was pointed out) We also both had the turkey tacos consisting of 2 very, very bland tacos served with a green salad with absolutely no seasoning or dressing, just a simple dry salad mix. I had some hot tea which was good. Total for this underwhelming meal? $50 plus a cash tip in the tip jar. Not going back again.

Everything on the menu looks and sounds amazing, I tried a couple items from the market and it is a bit underwhelming. The food is definitely fresh, and the grocery store is unique with a variety of local and healthy items to purchase. Both the veggie burrito and the buddah bowl looked delectable online but was lackluster in the end. The items are 90% rice and 10% the items that make it look amazing. I expect the price point given the location and fresh food, overall it is not worth it.

Cute little place with lots to chose from. They have a table outside where you can order take out or food. A little pricey but it's good and fresh. Average size portions. They bring the food to the table outside to you and ask if you want to tip when you pay. There's a few tables outside but no waitress service you clean up yourself. They require masks inside.

Came here and purchased Shinnecock Indian Nation coffee for gifts, was happy to purchase gifts made by the local Indian Tribe. Would like to purchase more Native American owned gifts. Nice selection of organic food. Will be back the next time in the Hamptons.

Came here for a quick to go lunch on a busy day. Unfortunately, it took so long for four sandwiches to be made, it defeated the purpose. I had ordered the falafel wrap. It was good and fresh, but not worth the wait.

Just had the MOST tasty Turkey Taco Salad!! I was a little put off by the 17.33 price tag but under those leafy greens is a huge mound of delicious taco ground Turkey treasure. I'm full and feel great about how healthy my lunch was! Worth every penny!

I was standing in line for over 5-7 minutes just because the waitress was having a conversation with there friend, as they were about to close within 10 minutes of time and the lady just gave me attitude for wanting a smoothie.

Oh Provisions, I miss you when I'm away. I crave your black bean burrito for lunch. Your all-day avocado toast is the best I've ever had, and I live in LA, the land of avocado toast. I crave a morning juice of beets & oranges & lots of ginger, and I miss your tofu/quinoa bowl. Provisions, I adore you. I adore your fresh produce and your brilliantly curated selection of healthy snacks. (Healthy snacks are at the bottom of my food pyramid.) But Provisions, when I order a large juice in the morning and you give me a small, and then you don't fix it when I ask you to, even though I've already paid for it, it makes me feel like I am not loved back. Still, like a mistreated lover, I keep returning to you.

Everything you could need for a health food store. There are bulk items, supplements, organic produce, skincare, food made to order, coffee and the best chai tea ever. Thrilled to have a great store and cafe in town!

I like the juices and freshly made food. Most of the items are organic and non-GMO/non-pesticide which is great (especially if you have kids!). I just wish they had grass fed meat dishes on the menu. Edited to add: at the supermarket you will find some really nice beauty products, many of which are small batch production and from small companies. I like that they carry both famous and less known brands.

I ordered the vegan veggie burger. I would rate it as average. I wish the menu had fries on it, as that would have been much better than a side salad. I appreciate the environmental effort this store goes through. They provide you with paper straws, and glasses for water. I would recommend for coffee or a small snack, but not for a full dinner or lunch.

Visited this cafe for breakfast. Delicious coffee! Wonderful gluten free breakfast while my meat eating companion was also able to have a meal to his liking. He loved the breakfast burrito and I loved the tofu wrap in a bowl. They have hemp milk for the smoothies to please the super elite among us, present company included. The attached grocery store has great stuff gives me the feel of my favorite stores in Ithaca, NY and Boulder, CO. Lovely and helpful staff, clean place, priced well even for the Hamptons. Pleasant indoor or outdoor dining seating areas and Mountain Valley glass bottled water available. Couldn't get any better than this little gem in Sag Harbor.

My wife and I decided to try take-out for lunch here. We placed our order, they gave us a number and said they would call out the number when it was ready. It seemed like it was taking longer than it should. So I inquired of the young woman who took the order when it would be ready. She said, with attitude, "we'll call your # when it's ready" (Not even close to "let me check on that"). A short time later, I start hearing them call numbers 10 or 12 higher than ours. I finally asked my wife to approach the same employee at the counter, who said "well, it's been sitting here waiting to be picked up" . The employee claimed that it had been marked as a "call in order", when she had taken the order herself about 25 minutes prior. The burrito with chicken and beans was actually quite good, so we would think about returning but this employee as the first person who interacts with customers Makes me wonder who's running the place

All of their food is great. I love the vegan Mushroom Pecan Burger its awesome, I am not a vegan but still love it. Shopping is great also they have a lot of great healthy options!

Decided that instead of spending $9 on a salmon roll at a nearby Japanese place, we would get some quick, cheap sandwiches and have a picnic on the beach. Unfortunately, we were in the Hamptons, so the quick and cheap part was already out the window. Nobody can figure out the system here, if there is one. There are two entrances where people will approach the sandwich counter from opposite sides. Instead of making a clear "line begins here" sign, people basically just stand in a glom and push in front of each other to place orders. Then you get an electronic buzzer and a receipt. Then, without anyone telling you, you are apparently supposed to know to take this receipt to the front of the store and pay, and then wait in the narrow aisles while getting in as many peoples way as possible until your buzzer goes off. Surprisingly, this "system" isn't very efficient, and all the zoned out moms with young children are even more prominent and confused than they are elsewhere, which I didn't think was possible. On to the food, my wrap wasn't anything special-- I could only actually eat half of it, which was a huge waste of $12 (but so is everything out here). And by the way, for these prices the cartons of strawberries should not be covered in white mold. C'mon, guys!

Let me first say that Provisions is really the only thing of its kind in the area, and they've been doing the same thing for decades. They've got a little market and a little cafe, and everything is geared towards folks who own at least one yoga mat and might still have that John Kerry bumper sticker on their car. Whether or not I fall into those categories is irrelevant, but that's who they serve and that's fine. After all, that population is seriously underserved in the East End, where you'll get a more coherent response if you ask for whale blubber than if you ask for tempeh. And for what they do, Provisions is reasonably good. My problem with Provisions? It's the wraps. I'm just not into them. I mean, what is a wrap but a burrito made with a flavored tortilla and cut in half? And what use is a burrito cut in half, when the whole point of a burrito is to be able to eat it with your hands, and having it cut in half makes that so much more difficult and messy? I guess you could say I'm just not into health food, but that's not it. You could also say that I'm unsympathetic to anyone who wants to eat half of their burrito now and save the rest for later, but I'm not buying that either - if that's your thing, then it should be wrapped in tinfoil when you buy it so that it can be closed back up whenever you want. (You could also say I'm unsympathetic to people who want to eat burritos with forks. To that I say "Yes, and I dislike bigots too.") Here's what I think: I'm just not into *uncreative* health food, and I worry that Provisions' Cafe might fit that description. Anyway. I like Provisions just fine, I guess, and if I need some nutritional yeast then that's the place I'd go. But it's just not interesting enough for me to take a trip there on a whim. Sure they've got a full line of Ecover cleaning products and a whole aisle of natural skin- and bodycare potions, but what I really want is a wider selection of natural meats or a peanut butter grinder or bulk olive oil. But whatever. If you're out here from the city and want to feel like you're getting in touch with nature, Provisions is your place. The cramped cafe will make you feel like you know everyone there, and they've got enough differently scented Dr. Bronner's varieties for you to create distinct olfactory experiences for each of the bathrooms in your weekend house. So go ahead, have fun there - just don't tell me how unique it is. Note: I had a lot of fun writing this review, and mean no offense by it - not to the ownership, staff or clientele. I just needed to rant for a minute, and I'll point that most of my rant had very little to do with Provisions itself and more to do with silly, tangentially related subjects... I hope. Anyway I've got no beef with you, whoever you are.

Susan, you were so extremely rude yesterday morning. Remember, you never know how you can impact someone's day and when you are on the clock in customer service, leave your crappy attitude elsewhere. You'd think at your age you'd know a thing or two about courtesy and kindness. Sheesh, just trying to buy a few items.

All good :-) Great service, great food, delicious and healthy... We had a "gorilla" juice (yummy!), a black bean chili (excellent!) and a goats cheese salad (absolutely delicious with an amazing dressing!). Really cannot be faulted and if you can get a table outside in the sunshine, then life is good... Highly recommended...

I have been coming out here for years and years and it isn't until recently that I found this great place.Driven past it but was buying my "provisions" in the city and in the last few years at King Kullen in Bridgehampton. I spent an hour roaming up and down the aisles. First I needed some organic dates,check.($,not cheap). Then, some agave.Options, excellent. Coconut flakes,prepackaged,again, options. There were organic clothes,I got a beautiful brown tank top,and cosmetics,love my Dr. H. And cute jewelry, got a cute "om" necklace. There is a cafe, the smoothies looked good,don't know yet but will have one next time out.Picked up a nice cloth bag that I have been using everyday. I can get all my organic needs met,very zen, and then find myself right next to the docks for a calm walk and some soothing rolling waves.Nice. Will visit them every time I come out.

Provisions is great. They have a ton of healthy food options in the cafe, and a decent selection of very fairly priced organic produce. The staff is friendly if you are. The prices for dry and canned goods are exactly what you'd expect in the Hamptons. (I can't believe how many people on yelp come to the most expensive part of the country and complain about prices.) Anyway, good food, good staff...the only drawback is the size of the place. In the summer it gets very cramped, but they do the best they can with what they've got. If you're eating in the cafe, try the veggie stir fry with a fresco smoothie.

I have been eating and shopping here for many many years. Of course based on prices anywhere else - too expensive! The food is very good - it used to be too healthful (ie. tasteless) but it is much better now. It can get very crowded and hard to find somewhere to sit and they have this strange way of ordering - first you order, then take the ticket up front and pay, then bring it back stamped paid! A good place for vegetarians, like me!

Liquid multivitamins! Expensive as hell but they've got em. Staff is very helpful and don't pretend to know more than they do, although they know plenty.

Provisions has gone downhill in a big way. The food at the cafe is terrible for the most part. The wrap I had was mostly rice and the wrap not much chicken or vegetables. The portions are small and the prices are big . The place is dirty and customer service rude. I guess they think they can get away with this because there is not much competition in Organics -BUT THE NEW MENU SIGN SAYS ORGANIC WHEN POSSIBLE? So is it organic or not? I'm thinking not.

Best tempeh reuben ever. Like, if for some reason I got famous and was on Food Network's The Best Thing I Ever Ate, this would be the first thing I would have to mention. This is like the only thing that I can wait on line for for 30 minutes without complaint in the world. Just this sandwich is worth the summer traffic to get out to Sag Harbor. Can you tell I'm in love? That being said, I'm not really a fan of much else on their menu (in my experience everything else is in dire need of some salt) but the tempeh is out of this world.

Definitely a fan. Pricey for sure but came here on my first weekend in sag harbor and got an amazing vegan quesadilla and afterwards some bulk foods which I can't seem to find anywhere else in the town centre. Also tried their smoothies which were equally good, I had the one with blueberries and mint. YUM. I love just can't come too much will break my wallet, but definitely worth it.

Sure they are overpriced like all health food stores. Unfortunately. And they are nerdy as can be. But they are good!!! And they are personal. The food is always good, great variety (in terms of over all products) and the staff knows its stuff. Specially when compared to the little outlets with which chains like Whole Foods or King Kullen are trying to monopolize even the organic market and squeeze top dollars out of something that started out good while paying minimum wages to its demotivated staff you have to give Provisions credit. If I could advise one thing: More variety on you menu. You have the same (good) stuff for years now.

After Sen, this is my second Sag Harbor staple for food. I worked at this organic haven for a brief summer and have been hooked ever since on their delicious smoothies (Green Vibrance is my fav), goat cheese wrap, and chicken burrito with free range, organic chicken. Eating in the cafe makes you feel like you're doing something good for your body (though it is a bit pricey). They also have a whole grocery mart so if you want to pick up some organic produce or cereal or even makeup while you wait, it's all righ there!

A cute little health food spot. Pricey, but so is most of this area of Long Island. The prepared food is excellent, suggested is the tempeh reuben. The staff is very helpful, and they have some items I can't find in the city, like coconut ice cream sandwiches.

0 stars. What happened to you Provisions?? Horrible experience this morning. The entire staff seems completely miserable and they don't hide it. They treat their customers like cattle. I'm not sure if their management changed or what, but the store manager in particular (or whoever she was) had serious attitude. I read the other reviews and it seems that this is an ongoing issue and still has not been addressed. I'm sorry lady if you are having a bad time, but don't take it out on your customers!!! It just steers people away from giving business. Not to mention that everything is way overpriced. The cafe is overrated - not worth your money. I don't recommend Provisions, especially to non-residents, they seem to think non-residents are a burden.

Great vegan options at the cafe! I split the mushroom pecan veggie burger and the east/west wrap with a friend and we completely devoured them! They also let us create our own green juice. I'll be back next time I'm in the Hamptons for sure!

This place is such a huge asset to Sag Harbor! A special little natural foods grocery which was recently expanded, carrying lots of locally grown produce, as well as a cafe with seating available to order one of many tasty dishes. Highly recommend checking this place and giving them your business! Friendly staff, good people.

My husband and I went into this place after hearing good things. Placed was nicely stocked and clean. We didn't get to eat there but the counter staff seemed friendly enough. Unfortunately we got rude service from the woman at the front cash register - we bought a few small oils and at checkout, she literally placed both bottles on the counter over, with no bag, slammed the change on the counter, turned around and started talking to the other staff member. Wow, ok.

It's overpriced, but that's OK, the portions are small. Where else can you pay $14 for a few leaves of kale and a few grains of rice? And the counter staff is surly to complete the ambiance. Welcome to the Hamptons.

What happened, Provisions? My sister worked here many moons ago. They were good to her and she had a great working experience there. She turned me on to the Avocado-Goat Cheese wraps. We were both COMPLETELY OBSESSED with them. They were the best wraps of ALL TIME. I've bought 1 or 2 of them more recently after not having one for years and was INCREDIBLY disappointed. Not only are the prices completely out of control now, they are made differently, don't taste good and not filling enough to be worth the price anymore. They used to be chock full of goat cheese & avocado - rich & filling. You could have half and be full. The last 2 times I had them I unfortunately found they stopped adding flavor. Neither had the signature dressing or bits of minced red onion to complement the filling. Totally bland and now they are chock full of mixed baby greens to save money I guess. Point is they're charging almost $15 for mostly lettuce and they don't taste good anymore! This used to be a staple of my life but now just a disappointment. Not sure if they decided to skrimp or just not properly training the workers how to prepare them. In spite of this, I do appreciate Provisions for what it offers to the area and do enjoy going there as they have some unique items you can't find anywhere else. But I will forever mourn the once great Avocado-Goat Cheese wrap. R.I.P. old friend.

The smoothies are delicious and I'm a big fan of the special quesadillas and the avo goat cheese wrap. They also have these great homemade fig bars - I love them! Always grab one on my way out.

Looking for a mega awesome health food shop in the South Fork? This is it. Bulk organic grains and cereal, grocery, and produce. I love this place.

Amazing healthy food! Avocado cheddar melt and the chicken stir fry are amazing! There smoothies are all yummy as well. There is a good selection of gluten free items, vegan and raw! Very friendly staff can get really busy between 10-2 in the summer! Totally worth it though!

Locals have been inhabiting Provisions' small cafe and its aisles of wonderfully stocked healthy groceries for years. The food is always fresh, the smoothies are invigorating AND tasty, and the staff is so friendly. Come to fill your home with nutritious fruits, veggies, and snacks, and stay for a yummy tofu-scramble for breakfast or a light yet hearty quesadilla or salad for lunch.

All sorts of vegan and veggie treats packed inside this tiny corner market in Sag Harbor. Also a cafe with a few tables to grab something on the fly. If your in Sag Harbor, you are probably expecting to pay a premium anywhere, no exception here. A veggie wrap will set you back $11 but it will taste good!

Tree huggers and bankers alike crowd into the small cafe, that during good weather spills outside on to not-so-stable metal cafe tables. Favs are vegetable stir fry (sounds boring, it's not), avocado and goat cheese wraps, juices, soups (carrot ginger and lentil are hits), and lots of other good, healthful stuff. Great from breakfast (delicious egg and tofu wraps), through lunch, you never know who you'll be rubbing shoulders with, and trust me, you'll be so close to someone you will be rubbing shoulders. Great service, awesome food, fun atmosphere, and plenty of great people watching, too.

Clean, friendly, reliable.. I've eaten here many times over the years and it's always consistent. Great if you're looking for something healthy and basic. The food recipes considered and tasty without being over the top. I like the breakfast burritos a lot. There is a nice little cafe atmosphere for eating in, or take out if you're on the go. Some items seem pricey, but you're in Sag Harbor village so just deal with it.

You know for a grocery in a small town it's not bad. I had a delicious smoothie from here that was made with "Rice Dream" which I was slightly skeptical about at first since milk from rice just sounds plain suspicious... I know those grains don't have nipples. Hmmmm... But yeah as it turn out: Really good. This place reminds me a lot of an organic market I used to go to in College called Blooming Foods. Ah, those were the days!

I've shopped at Provisions for years and I've always felt ripped off by their high prices. I've seen their avocado goat cheese wrap go from $9.95 to $13.95 in just three years (and, according to the report below on this thread, it's also no where as good as it used to be, mostly lettuce and tortilla, hardly any goat cheese anymore). But yesterday was a shocker. I wanted to buy a simple half-gallon of Organic Valley 2% milk. Price $8.99! I regularly buy that at Whole Foods (aka Whole Paycheck) in New York City for $5.99. So I went to Schavoni's supermarket here in Sag Harbor. Schavoni's is hardly cheap but they sell the same half-gallon of Organic Valley milk for $5.99. Almost everything at Provisions is similarly way overpriced. Eg. fresh organic shiitake mushrooms: $24.99 a pound at Provisions, $10.99 a pound at Whole Foods. So I advise shoppers to buy only what you can only find Provisions as you can find many organic staples and produce at Schavoni's or even King Kullen on the highway at half or two-thirds the price. I don't shop at Provisions any more except for the few items I can't find elsewhere. If you're coming out from NYC for a stay in SH and want organic groceries, I would advise you to stock up from Whole Foods before you head out.

I don't like this place. Was there this morning, bought a 5 oz juice for $8, and a coffee, and got the fish eye when I asked if there was soy milk for the coffee. Isn't it a health food store? Then went to the front to pay and the guy at the register snapped at me when I failed to take my ticket after paying for the drinks. Forgive me for assuming you would toss it into the trash can a foot behind you... Do us a favor, Provisions -- practice what you preach and be kind not only in food choices but in behavior, especially when charging people $8 for 5 ounces of juice.

This is the health food mecca for the hamptons. The cafe is wonderful. Food is excellent with lunch specials and an efficient staff. Make sure that you miss the lunch rush though, from 11-2 PM, because it's always crowded.
