Beautiful area. There are so many lovely hikes. Disconnect from the world (there isn't cellular service up there), it's a great way to escape and be present in the moment enjoying breathing in the clean crisp (thin) mountain air. Pictures are of Bourbon lake found at the top of Whiskey creek trailhead.

We rented a raft and traveled down the river. So much fun! The gorgeous scenery and the cold water kept us engaged and entertained the whole trip. We are planning when we can do it again! What a blast. ❤️

We stopped at this River for some fishing in the winter, as it was one of the best options, which remained unfrozen. The River is beautiful, so is the area around it. It was quite windy near the water, but we enjoyed the time we spent here. As always nature just can’t be unpleasant.

This river is beautiful to enjoy mostly because of the variety of things that you can enjoy with it. You can have a picnic or hang out on the bridge by upper falls and enjoy the amazing mountains that are spectacular while enjoying the river. You can hike Upper Falls and then hand out afterward to just enjoy the river. You can walk, bike, roller blades, or long board on the paved trail next to the river. You can gauck at Bridalveil falls because it is stunning while and enjoy the river. You can fish on the shores while enjoying the serenity of this river. You can rider the Heber Creeper train and enjoy the river out the windows. You can camp, or just do a campfire dinner at one of the day sites or campgrounds next to the river. You can tube or raft down and enjoy this river (Just don't be stupid like me and tie tubes together with little ones on them. I almost lost my little girls that way.) Such a great river, but mostly because there is so many great ways you can have a spended day doing something fun while enjoying the beauty of this river. (BYW up the river further is one of my favorite falls called Upper Provo River Falls also stunning.)

Not sure the fun trail I came across. If anyone knows it I'd love to hear from you. The entrance to the trail was just down from Bridal Veil Falls. You come across different falls and afterwards this waterline I took some pics of. I'd love to see if there is a way to get above the falls. Let me know. Thank you!

The view never gets old. Great place to take the family for a walk, or even your dogs. Careful going up the trail to the top of the falls. It is very steep and tons of loose debree and rocks.

enjoyed the drive through the mountains and seeing the river and mountains. pretty sure we saw snow (glacier) in August on the high mountains.
