What To Do in Polanco, Mexico City: Our Guide | Condé Nast Traveler

"Cool, modern, already classic, Proyectos Monclova is a small gallery space located in the south-eastern quadrant of Polanco. It offers an intimate look at Mexico-City—and a respite from the larger, crowded museums. They focus on one or two artists at a time and are a vital force within the local Mexican art community, while also reaching an international audience via prestigious international art fairs. Young, emerging Mexico-based artists, Latin-American socio-political issues, and the work of stalwarts like Helen Escobedo get center stage in the dynamic program. Sneak a peek on your way to lunch or before dinner, or when you need a break from shopping. Thirty minutes is enough time, but consider this stop essential for any art scene denizen." - Susannah Rigg, Scarlett Lindeman

Proyectos Monclova — Art Gallery Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"So, what’s this place about? This is a contemporary art gallery based in Mexico City How’s the space?     Cool, modern, already classic, Proyectos Monclova is a small gallery space located in the south-eastern quadrant of Polanco and offers an intimate look at Mexico-City—and a respite from the larger, crowded museums. They focus on one or two artists at a time and are a vital force within the local Mexican art community while reaching an international audience by participating in numerous prestigious international art fairs. The art’s the main thing, of course. How is it? They focus on young, emerging Mexico-based artists, Latin-American socio-political issues, and the work of stalwarts like Helen Escobedo in their dynamic program.  Did you meet anyone on staff? Did they make an impression?     There's a whiff of snobbishness, for sure. At the end of the day, what—or who—is this place best for?    Sneak a peek on your way to lunch or before dinner, or when you need a break from shopping. 30 minutes is enough time. It's essential for art scene denizens." - Scarlett Lindeman

Gallery is closed. Por favor make that clear on your Instagram, google maps or website. Lots to do in this city and wasting time going to your gallery leaves a sour taste of your aren’t open.

They refused to let me visit the space saying they are close because of setting up the location. There was no announcement on the website and or social media.
